The Statement

A Preface 

For those that do not know what the current situation is, lets keep it that way. Stop reading this. All you need to know is that my name is Jack and I’m 16. 

The Start Of It All <<CW: Self-Harm, Suicide>>

For those that are in the know, I’m the brother of Leaf, a well respected and talented artist on Twitter popular with those in the Artmy community, a K-Pop art space. Recently, I came to the defence of my sister because she was receiving backlash for calling out the artist who plagiarised her concept.

She was told various things online, to the point that she made the decision to deactivate her account.

So why did you get involved?

I got involved because I was angry with the fact that people sided with someone who stole a concept, and not the concept creator. Not to mention sent people to attack initially before making statements which were too late and too flimsy to even be considered damage control. Not to mention, attacking anyone in my family in front of me will not end well for any party.

Oh god. What did you do now?

As you can tell, I’ve made controversial statements in the past that do not reflect anyone but myself’s beliefs. Everything I say is from me, myself, and I, and is usually a hot take. I am never prompted to tweet anything, and nothing I have tweeted has come by proxy. If this makes me an awful person, so be it.

On the 10th of May at around 18:00GMT, I tweeted a thread expressing my anger with those attacking Leaf on Twitter, including claiming Holly as a main perpetrator, using her CuriousCat as a way to “throw herself a pity party in more than 280 [characters]”. I stand by my statement, even if Leaf does not. Leaf is not obliged to stand by any tweets I make.

These tweets may have blown certain details out of proportion, but that was on my end and I apologise for exaggerating the truth.

So, what is your verdict?

While I stand by nearly everything I’ve said, I may have worded things wrong, so lets get my views straight without fear of people blocking me after every statement:

Holly plagiarised Leaf’s concept

Leaf rightly so called Holly out

Holly was a main player in this situation. Had she not plagiarised and come up with her own concept for once, we wouldn’t be in this mess

Leaf deactivated by choice, with influence from the backlash

Backlash included being told to commit suicide and sl*t her wrists

I stepped in with the intent to defend Leaf

Leaf’s friends started to leave her side after my comments, under the impression she was lying

All unintentional exaggeration from my part was taken as lies

Leaf never lied.

An open message to Holly

Realise who you have as supporters, a trigger-happy, cutthroat community ready to pounce for the most part. A community I will never be in or see myself in for the foreseeable future. 

Also, realise your creativity so you won’t have to plagiarise other artists. Since attacking my sister then having the audacity to write a statement that came off as only damage control, I have lost total respect for you as a person, an artist, and as a professional. I know you don’t care, but I’d let those words sink in one day and change your actions.

An open message to those under the impression Leaf lied

Leaf never lied. All exaggeration or misinformation was on my behalf, as Leaf has been offline for a few days. I apologise.

From the moment you said “deactivate your account”, I knew you would hate me. Understandably so. I only wanted to defend you, under the impression I was doing more good than harm. I’m sorry for fucking everything up.

I make my own statements. Leaf approves of absolutely none of them. Stop attacking her for my words. Attack me for my words.

I will be offline for a few days. Anyone trying to contact me will have delayed responses. I need to focus on my effect for a while.

Sheeesh. So, since that grand finale to my Alphas of Percy Jackson series is gonna be longer than most - if not all - others, considering that it’s gotta handle 14 lovers for Percy, I decided to get a headstart (even though its post-date is the 7th of March, because yeah we’re still a couple weeks from the end).

And damn, that thing is just going to be a kinky monstrosity. Just, you know, for the people who have been wondering why I go so fluffy these days. This will tide you over, I believe. I’ve got the structure and there’s gonna be literally every single kink I even slightly enjoy writing. Like. All the smut.

It’s even going to feature a new one I haven’t done before. And now it’s up to you to wonder and up to me and Artmis to execute. *smirks*

But due to the variety of kinks and the variety of ships, I’ve decided to use line-breaks between scenes as indicators - you know, a brief header to let you know which pairing is gonna be featured in the next scene and which kinks will be used in it. So, if one of the 14 gods ain’t your cup of tea, you know exactly which scene to skip and if one or more of the kinks in it aren’t your cup of tea either, you can also skip. Seemed like the most sensible solution, because if say feminization and crossdressing is a hard no from you but you really want to read about the vine bondage and vine-tentacle sex, then you can just skip Aphrodite and go straight ahead to Dionysus and Demeter, instead of being put off by the tag and skipping the whole read because you don’t know where which kink and ship happens. ;)

And yes. Every scene is gonna be different. Because where’s the fun in Percy just getting fucked 14 times...? That’s repetitive and boring. No, every god has their own special thing planned for Percy. *grins like a shark*

Terms and Conditions

APPLICATION FORM (ART COLLAB)

In ARTMY Community, we also do annual art projects. Art collaboration is one of the common activities we usually do, and this is a fun way of an activity to join! Not only your artwork will be added into our ARTMY collections, but you will also enjoy special themes to draw as well as getting to know fellow ARTMYs.

The main objective of our art collaboration is to post artworks all together based by the artist’s chosen theme from the project.

These are the terms of agreement between ARTMY and the ARTMY Team. We highly recommend to read everything stated in here before joining in our collaboration project.

PART 1: RULES AND GUIDELINES 

A) First and foremost, before you join and fill out the application form, we encourage you to read the Rules and Guidelines in full, or at least are already familiar with all its information if you are really willing to participate in the activity/project.

B) We expect to believe that you understood everything what is stated in the Rules and Guidelines once you have agreed the last page of our form. We will inform you right away if there will be some changes and/or updates in our policy.

C) You are not allowed to cancel/withdraw when you have already submitted the form. However, we may consider you changing a theme, category or a collaboration if there are still available slots left. You must inform us right away so we can verify it.

D) Please provide the right information what is being asked in the form. We may use your nickname and/or username for feature purposes. 

PART 2: WARNING LIST & BLACKLIST

A) This list contains people that appear to be not following the deadlines on time. There are a total of three (3) warnings that you can obtain. Thus receiving 3 warnings will automatically place your name in the blacklist and you will be banned from joining in our future projects. Although you may still join in an activity by tagging your artworks in our official tags and we will be willing to retweet it!

B) Missing a deadline will lead you to 1ST WARNING, therefore, you will lose one (1) turn to join in an upcoming project. You may, however, participate in the next project right after you lose a turn. Same follow-on rule if you immediately acquired two (2) WARNINGS in full strike. You still have to wait for the 2 WARNINGS to be void in order for you to participate again.

C) If you missed the deadline of PRE-DEADLINE and OFFICIAL POST, it will be an automatic of 2 WARNINGS already.

D) Officially canceling your submitted application form will directly give you 2 STRIKE WARNINGS as well.

E) MIA (Missing In Action) after 24 hours following the OFFICIAL POST will immediately place you in the blacklist. Though we may consider a valid excuse; we allow at least 2 days only for you to post your art collab. Remember that the purpose of this art collaboration is to post artworks all together at the same time of date!

F) If you tend to completely ignore all the rules, expect that you will be immediately banned without warning. Please be aware with everything before filling out the form.

[NOTE]: We ask for your full cooperation for this and kindly respect our rules and guidelines. We, ARTMY Team, are working our very best to organize these projects to give everyone an opportunity to join, provide better contents, and have a fun experience. If you think you will not actually meet/disapprove with all the said agreements, then might as well just give that opportunity to others who are willing to participate. Thank you!
