Đào được kho báu giá trị 6 triệu USD nhờ máy phát hiện kim loại

Adam Staples và cộng sự Lisa Grace tìm thấy một kho báu tiền cổ có niên đại từ năm 1066, trị giá ước tính hơn 6 triệu USD. Hiện cả Adam và Lisa đều kín tiếng nhưng cho biết họ đã sử dụng thiết bị phát hiện kim loại và làm việc cật lực để có được phát hiện "độc nhất trong đời". Trả lời phỏng vấn của tạp chí Treasure Hunting, họ mô tả kho báu được cất giấu một cách "có đầu óc" và ấn tượng.

Sau 7 tháng đưa cho Bảo tàng Anh ở London để đánh giá theo luật định, các chuyên gia cho biết tất cả 2.571 đồng xu bằng bạc do Adam và Lisa phát hiện đều từ thời vua Harold II - vị vua Anglo-Saxon cuối cùng của Anh. Ông cai trị Vương quốc Anh trong 9 tháng, kể từ tháng 10/1066 đến khi bị Công tước xứ Normandy, William, giết trong Trận chiến Hastings.

Ngoài ra, các chuyên gia cũng cho rằng những đồng tiền này thuộc về một người quan trọng, giàu có vào thời đó. Chúng đã được chôn cất để giữ an toàn và không bị phát hiện cho tới nay.

"Tiền Harold II hiếm hơn tiền William và có thể trị giá khoảng 2.500 - 5.000 USD mỗi đồng. Tiền William I sẽ có giá từ 1.200 đến 1.800 USD mỗi đồng. Vì vậy, kho báu này có thể sẽ có giá trị từ 3,7 triệu đến 6 triệu USD", một chuyên gia của Bảo tàng Anh tiết lộ.

  10. The Conjuring (2013) – 318 triệu USD

Lấy bối cảnh năm 1971, nội dung của The Conjuring kể về câu chuyện của Ed và Lorraine Warren - những chuyên gia về các hiện tượng siêu nhiên có thật trong lịch sử và rất nổi tiếng vào thế kỉ 20.

  Trong phim, gia đình Carolyn và Roger Parren chuyển nhà tới một trang trại đổ nát tại Rhode Island. Ngay khi mới chuyển về đây, những điều kì lạ bắt đầu xảy ra kèm theo những cơn ác mộng không ngừng ám ảnh gia đình họ. Bỗng một ngày, tại đây diễn ra hàng loạt các hiện tượng tâm linh kỳ lạ như đồ đạc tự dưng dịch chuyển, những tiếng nói không rõ nguồn gốc vang lên và trên hết là việc cô con gái Janet 11 tuổi lại phát ra giọng nói của một giọng nói của ông già.

Nhà Warren có nhiệm vụ thay mặt Giáo Hội đến đây để kiểm tra xem liệu rằng đây có phải là một vụ ma ám thật sự hay chỉ là trò đùa. Tuy nhiên họ đã phát hiện ra rằng tất cả những hiện tượng siêu nhiên này được một thế lực hắc ám hùng mạnh hơn đứng sau điều khiển khiến tính mạng của cả gia đình cũng như vợ chồng Warren bị rơi vào vòng nguy hiểm.

8. Se7en (1995) – 327,5 triệu USD

Se7en là một bộ phim thuộc thể loại hình sự xen lẫn kinh dị, giật gân. Phim bắt đầu bằng việc cảnh sát điều tra Mills cùng người vợ đang mang bầu chuyển nhà đến thành phố mới. Tại đây, Mills có đồng nghiệp mới là cảnh sát Somerset, cả hai cùng điều tra về một loạt các vụ án mạng kinh hoàng được thực hiện bởi cùng một hung thủ. Hannibal vốn là một bác sĩ tâm thần có chuyên môn xuất sắc, nhưng bị ám ảnh từ những lời trăn trối với tư tưởng “kẻ mạnh ăn thịt kẻ yếu” nên đã trở thành tên sát nhân hàng loạt, chuyên ăn thịt người và người tạo ra những thảm kịch kinh hoàng.  Bên cạnh việc sở hữu một bộ óc siêu phàm, với khả năng lừa gạt, phân tích, suy luận logic và sắc sảo, Hannibal Lecter còn cực kỳ mưu mô, xảo quyệt, tàn nhẫn. Chính điều này đã khiến hắn trở thành “cơn ác mộng” thực sự và rất khó đối phó với bất kỳ ai có ý định đem hắn vào vòng lao lý.

Mason Verger – một nạn nhân cũ của Hannibal, đang lên kế hoạch trả thù kẻ đã ăn thịt mình. Và hắn đã nghĩ ra một kế hoạch độc đáo, sử dụng thanh tra cảnh sát Clarie – người đang điều tra một vụ án có liên quan đến Hannibal làm con mồi nhử để dụ hắn bước ra ánh sáng.

The Exorcist được coi là một trong những tựa phim kinh dị nổi tiếng nhất mọi thời đại. Có nội dung dựa theo tiểu thuyết cùng tên của nhà văn Blatty từ một trường hợp có thật xảy ra tại Washington, phim kể về về Regan, một cô bé ngây thơ, xinh đẹp và khá tự chủ. Sau một lần chơi cầu cơ, Regan bỗng nghe thấy những tiếng động lạ và bắt đầu có những hành động tục tĩu, bạo lực cùng những cơn cáu giận bất thường. Khi mà mọi việc có chiều hướng vượt quá tầm kiểm soát của khoa học cũng như trình độ của các bác sĩ chữa trị, gia đình cô bé đành nhờ cậy đến những yếu tố thần linh và từ đây, họ đã phát hiện ra Regan không hề mắc bệnh mà cô bé đã bị nhập hồn bởi một con quỷ dữ.

4. Jaws (1975) – 470,6 triệu USD

Jaws có nội dung kể vể một con cá mập trắng khổng lồ bất ngờ xuất hiện đe dọa đến mạng sống của cộng đồng người dân trên một hòn đảo nhỏ và đã liên tiếp lấy đi sinh mang của rất nhiều người. Lúc này, một cảnh sát trưởng, một nhà khoa học biển và một ngư dân quyết định lập ra một kế hoạch để ngăn chặn và tiêu diệt nó..

Jaws được coi là tác phẩm mở ra thời đại cho dòng phim khai thác đề tài cá mập và cũng là bộ phim thành công nhất về đề tài này. Kịch bản của Jaws được lấy cảm hứng từ một sự kiện có thật, dựa trên cuộc tấn công của bầy cá mập hung dữ trên bờ biển New Jersey (Mỹ) vào năm 1916. Trong 12 ngày vào tháng 7 năm đó, 5 khách du lịch đã bị cá mập tấn công khi đi tắm biển và chỉ có một người sống sót. Đàn cá mập trắng 7 con bị giăng bẫy vào 2 ngày sau đó và khi mổ bụng chúng ra, ngư dân phát hiện ra nhiều hài cốt người trong dạ dày của bầy cá mập này. Cho tới ngày nay, câu chuyện về đàn cá mập trắng tấn công người trên bờ biển New Jersey năm 1916 vẫn là một chủ đề gây nhiều tranh cãi cho các nhà khoa học trên thế giới.

3. IT (2017) – 478 triệu USD

IT có nội dung xoay quanh câu chuyện về một con quỷ dữ ăn thịt người đội lốt gã hề có tên Pennywise. Phim lấy bối cảnh tại Derry - một thị trấn giả tưởng nằm tại Maine, Hoa Kỳ.

Tại nơi đây, có 7 đứa trẻ hay bị ức hiếp chơi chung với nhau và cùng nhau lập thành một nhóm có tên là The Losers Club. Khi nhiều đứa trẻ đồng trang lứa trong thị trấn liên tiếp mất tích một cách bí ẩn, trong đó có em trai của Bill thì The Losers Club đã quyết định dành cả kỳ nghỉ hè để điều tra sự việc và chúng phát hiện ra sự tồn tại gã hề quái đản mang biệt danh Pennywise. Tuy nhiên, những sự việc mà lũ trẻ phát hiện ra còn to lớn hơn những vụ mất tích đơn thuần rất nhiều. Chúng nhận ra rằng cứ 27 năm một lần, Pennywise sẽ quay trở lại và gieo rắc nỗi kinh hoàng lên cuộc sống của những người dân trong thị trấn.

Meghan met Otto at Hogwarts. He was handsome, reserved and mysterious, and a man of the Ollivander family. Wanting to be like her mother, she started pursuing him, and fell in love along the way. On her fourth year, they were already seeing one another frequently, though Otto made sure not to cross a line and enrage her father, the epitome of the Somerset male. 

By the beginning of their fifth year they were a thing, and by the end of their sixth year, he had bended the knee and proposed. He was interrogated by both Lawrence and Charles, and both agreed that he was good for Meg and made her happy. She was, after all, Winbourne’s hope after Taty’s forbidden romance. 

They married three months after their Hogwarts graduation and went on to have three wonderful daughters: Isobel, Grace and Eugenia Primrose. They were their pride and joy and Otto never once seemed displeased not to have a son: on the contrary, he was besotted with his daughters.

Overall personality: Lively, kind and in love with life, Meghan is someone who enjoys living in the lap of luxury and isn’t quite aware of her surroundings, and it makes her often clash with her other siblings, but she means well and does her best to be a good person. She was the perfect daughter, striving to be like her predecessors (her mother, Gia II, Alexandra and Primrose herself) and wanting to live the lavish life, ableit to what was happening outside. 

She was thus sheltered, clueless, innocent and naive, always taken for a fool though she rarelt noticed, wanting to please everybody in the room, and this caused a clash between her sister and her older brother was far too busy being an heir to notice how lonely she was. 

She instead sought affection in Hogwarts, and found it in the handsome Otto Ollivander, brother of Garrick, famous wandmaker and the two fell in love and married too soon for their peers, having three daughters.

Winbourne estate is a 700 year-old house where the Somerset family had lived since the Middle Ages, though the most ancient recorded family living there was Lord Matteo Somerset and his prolific wife, Sancia D’Este. Gia lived in luxury and with the ton, having a privileged education, though her parents managed to raise her to be down-to-earth. She lived a happy childhood and never asked for anything.

A muggleborn woman of a poor family, she met in her mid-twenties the tall, handsome and famous Lord Somerset during an event hosted in his estate. Her quick wit, charm and beauty enthralled the nobleman and soon began a slow dating process, for he had been embroiled in scandal with a scandalous marriage, product of an elopment, though she wouldn’t be awar until their engagement. The two of them loved each other dearly and had a blissful and loving marriage and, after some time, went on to have five children.

Father: Vincent Castor Somerset

The son of the famous Primrose Gray, from the moment he was born, he was meant to inhert Winbourne, for the law applied the male primogeniture when inheriting. Well-educated, cultured and charming, he was sorted in Slytherin and soon made friends, though he didn’t truly notice his future second wife till later. On his 18th birthday, he eloped with a Beauxbatons exchange student, Clarice Renaux, which caused an scandal. He was barred from his duties as heir and instead passed it to his eldest sister, Alexandra, who carried on with her Countess duties alongside Winbourne affairs until his 25th birthday, after having proven again and again that he had learned his lesson and was more than fit to inherit Winbourne. During an event, he met Margaret Taylor and was soon intrigued by her, and began dating, this time the right way. They married as soon as she finished her training as future viscountess and eventually had five children, Gia among them. (Sidenote, I use Joe Cole as his older version!!)

Of the two brothers, Phil is Gia’s personal favourite brother. By birth, he had been a future Earl of Harrendale, but gave it up for his homosexuality and instead passed to their cousin.
