Hello everyone, I am Giorno Giovanna from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and I am looking for source friends. Still getting used to tumblr so please be patient. I hope we can get along!

Some basic info:

♡ My pronouns are he/him and they/them, but mainly he/him. I am transmasc.

♡ English is not my native language.

♡ I consider myself both fictionkin and irl, depending on the moment. It's a long story but I am willing to explain it.

♡ I'm neurodivergent (autistic, OCD, possibly adhd) and I have a few mental illnesses. I may need tone tags and clarification sometimes. I am not sure of the cause yet, but I may experience psychosis and paranoia when stressed.

♡ I've known I am Giorno for over 3 years now, but I've had a connection to the jjba universe before I ever even watched the anime.

♡ I am 17, almost 18, but I don't mind talking to people of any age.

♡ I'd be glad to talk to pretty much anyone from my source, except Cioccolata (and my mother/stepfather but I doubt they'd be on this website). If you are Diavolo, feel free to interact, just please be careful with it.

♡ Doubles can interact, at least for now (might change later). It might make me feel a bit weird but I am aware that our source has infinite different universes, and therefore multiple (real) Giornos.

Hello, this is Giorno Giovanna from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I'm looking for pretty much anyone who would like to talk (except Cioccolata,, sorry), but especially the Joestars, my father Dio, Pucci, my brothers, and the rest of Bucciarati's gang.

Some more detailed info about my canon, see if any of this rings a bell (this contains spoilers for Stone Ocean):

After the universe was reset by Pucci, everyone was reincarnated into a universe where both the jjba anime/manga AND it's characters exist irl at the same time. A lot of us are very active on social media (people know who we are) and we do events and live shows for the fans occasionally.

Most of us live pretty close to each other. Most people, even those who used to be enemies, are in at least decent terms. I was raised by Dio since I was around 3-4 years old and he's a great father to me. Dio and Jotaro started kind of co-parenting me and Jolyne at some point, so the two of us are very close. We do Joestar Family reunions every year.

Hamon, stands and vampires still exist. I am a half-vampire, but I am not sure if my brothers are as well.

I believe Jonathan and Dio are around 120 years old, Lisa Lisa is around 100, Joseph, Caesar and Suzi are around 80, Holly is around 60, and Jotaro and Kakyoin are around 40. Josuke, Jolyne, myself and most of our friends are in our late teens, and we go to the same school. Jonathan, Lisa Lisa, Joseph and Caesar still look young because of their hamon, and my dad because he is a vampire.

People from part 7 onwards are there too, but I don't know a lot of details. All I know is that I'm friends with Johnny and Gyro and that Diego is my cousin.

And even if it isn't familiar, I do have canon compliant memories as well from before the reset, so I'd be happy to talk anyways. You can interact with the post too if you'd prefer. ough too many it’s so hard being me . obviously izumi sena (es) he’s so fucked he and i have like almost completely identical trauma as far as having to forcibly separate yourself from your favorite person goes bc you’re both spiraling out of control and hurting each other Augh. and he’s moody and bad at showing emotions and Has to be Perfect or else he’s going to die and LITERALLY ME LMAO . the worst ever i hope he blows up and dies . a most recent absolute killing is giorno (jjba) yeah yeah whatever whatever but jesus christ it hit me like out of left field too bc i had never considered kinning him he was just some guy then the joke was on me and he was not just some guy. it’s the needing control over everything in your life and the survivors guilt and the conflicting urges to be tyrannical vs to be kind and helpful and generous . it’s the healing and the killing and the being the most specialest girl at the party . it’s the ego trip and subtle manipulation and having everyone place their trust in you and devote their futures and lives to you because you’re the best you’re the most Worthy of having it . it’s the being the most worthy while chanting mudamudamuda “useless usesless useless” to anyone you attack with your stand. he’s so messed i hate it. so yeah the most recent kick in the balls vs the og kick in the balls . there are Plenty more but jesus christ - 🩸

Giorno and Dio as babies/children. Honestly it’s really hard to make the distinction between a child and baby fur by face alone, especially in non hyper realistic art styles.

Anyways I think black hair Giorno bull cut whatever it’s called, looks really cute and stupid. But also I think the haircut makes much more sense for a child because low maintenance.

very late but Yes to the song question. one of my recently relevant songs was vienna by billy joel, which i connect a lot to kinning giorno from jjba. it’s about having these huge dreams and ambitions for yourself and holding on to them but at the same time pacing yourself and not letting by yourself think that just because you want it doesn’t mean it’ll happen. the lines “You've got your passion / You've got your pride / But don't you know / That only fools are satisfied? / Dream on / But don't imagine they'll all come true” and “Slow down, you crazy child / And take the phone off the hook / And disappear for a while / It’s alright, you can afford / To lose a day or two” are both very hard hitters but the song is just like Ough. the killing.

another song very deeply connected to kin for me is a little death by the neighbourhood. it’s like The vampirekin song for me. it’s just about sex but vampires are often linked to sex and sexuality anyway, and it’s the way it’s delivered because a lot of the song is describing a scene and if you don’t pay attention it sounds beautiful and almost hypnotic but the scene being described is pretty disgusting and unpleasant. for this one it’s definitely the lines “She sought death on a queen-sized bed / And he had said "darling, your looks can kill so now you’re dead"” and “I want you to touch me there / Make me feel like I am breathing / Feel like I am human / Again”. it’s the ‘something unholy and socially rejected and honestly a little gross veiled by this hypnotic rhythm and smooth vocal that kind of disguised what it even was in the first place’ and the ‘connection of death and love/sex and the dramatism and the disconnect from humanity’ of it all that truly does it in for me.
