Here’s a Techno idea I came up with whilst playing mc! :)

Summary: Due to Technoblade being a piglin hybrid, you test to see if giving him gold will cause him to trade with you!

You walked through the Nether portal you had built near Techno’s cabin, your inventory filled with gold bars, nuggets, and other things you acquired on your little adventure. You had built a tunnel filled with torches leading from the basement of Technoblade’s home to the portal, so you wouldn’t have to walk through the freezing snow whenever you wanted to take a trip to the Nether.

Reaching the basement and climbing up the ladder, you noticed your piglin partner near the fireplace brewing potions. You saw this as a perfect opportunity to test your theory. Whilst you were trading with piglins in the Nether, you had thought of the blood god himself, and wondered if he too had an instinct to trade when presented with gold.

“Hey darling, I’m back.” You announced your presence as you took off the gold helmet you brought, Techno responding with a hum, clearly focused on the potions in front of him. Once your no longer needed accessory was off, you went into your inventory and pulled out a few bars of gold before walking up to Techno.

The man immediately melted into your touch as you wrapped your arms around him from behind, he’d clearly been working for quite a while.

“Sorry darl’, I just need to finish these last few potions.” Usually you’d leave him be to his work, but this test simply couldn’t wait (in your mind, at least). So you moved to his side and held 3 gold bars out to him, to which he finally looks at you, glancing between your giggling face (you tried to hold back your laughs, but it wasn’t going very well) and the gold you were offering him.

When he didn’t take the gold and instead stared at you with a raised brow, you rolled your eyes and used your free hand to grab one of his larger ones and dropping the gold on his palm. Technoblade snorted and finally accepted the gold, looking at you with an amused smirk.

“What, you tryin’ to trade with me?” Your look when you realized he caught you gave you away, though you still tried to play it off.

“Pff- Whaaa? Me? Do that? I would never!” Using your hands to better express your sentence and glancing around the room, looking everywhere except his eyes, the piglin hybrid chuckled and set the gold on his work station before getting up and opening one of his chests, looking back at you with a warm smile.

“Take your pick.” You threw your hands in the air with a victorious “yes!” before rushing over to the chest, taking 3 items of your liking. The man shook his head but chuckled, wondering what he’d do with you.

“Thanks Tech, I love you! Bye!!” You yelled before rushing off to who knows where. Gods above, you were going to be the death of him.
