james -- old aurors (even if just trainees) from when he worked there before he went on the run. he strongly disagrees with barty sr’s stance on unforgivables and killing, so there would’ve been some tension before he left. journalists who want to interview him now that he’s back. old friends (maybe some that are salty with him). lily’s old friends, too. parent friends. an old auror mentor (iain glen is my fave for this but i’m super flexible). potential romantic partners, even if not for the long term. lots of these can be current characters.

barty jr -- old “friends” bc he doesn’t really make friends. my biggest want for him is quirinus quirrell to be his friend/”crush” of whatever sort!! again, flexible. death eaters who he fights w daily. old professor relationships. order/death eater shit, because even though the war is over, you know barty is still messing with folks. past hogwarts threads. a Daddy figure to take over seeing as voldemort has hit the road.

In addition, we’re happy to announce our Discord will be open to all prospective members beginning Wednesday, May 23 (precise time TBD, but once we know, you’ll know)!

Just a note: there are no requirements (and no contests) in our reserve process. That said, we would love love love to see folks in #gorerp talking about their characters, and we have a short (optional) questionnaire after the cut to get things going!
