a ghost found in folklore really from all around the world but the most famous examples are the one from ireland (there she was a young woman who died by suicide (or more broadly: of a broken heart) on her wedding night, and she haunts the area in search of the one whom she loved); the one from hungary (died violently and haunts the area à la elizabeth bàthory); the one from germany, who’s said to be a bad omen; and the one i relate to the most, the one from estonia, a girl who disguised herself as a boy to be with her beloved but she was discovered and killed and her ghost is said to be seen during a full moon.

It's been another year, time to bring the October lists out. As is more or less tradition by now, I'll be doing the Goretober challenge again.
