The Bangtan Gal Chapter 91- Tub Big Enough For Two

Chapter Summary: BTS promote BST as viewers and fans freak out and wonder what is going on between Jennie and Taehyung due to what they saw in the MV. Jennie suffers a wardrobe malfunction during a show. Jennie and Jungkook become stressed trying to juggle school and promotions. Pissed about having to take an exam the next morning, Jungkook's angry emotions are shown while performing late at night for a show and Jennie helps him calm down back at the dorm.

Author's Note: Years ago, when I saw that fan cam of Jungkook on October 18th 2016 it inspired the last part of this chapter. I really love it and thought it was super cute and fluffy. I hope you enjoy! It'll take me a bit to write the next chapter after this but I hope this chapter can hold you until I update this story again!

At the music show, Jennie wore one of her outfits from the music video and had a personalized earpiece. Her earpiece had Smartie written on it with two small drawings of Smarties under it. What excited Jen about performing BST was that for her verse, she would be able to switch up the choreography and switch it with a different member. For their comeback stage, Taehyung would be the first. And then on another day, it would be another member instead. She hoped viewers would enjoy it as it kept the performance fresh and improvised. 

Jennie and Jungkook got to reunite with GOT7 when they weren’t recording. Jumping on Bam Bam’s back, she outstretched her arms like an airplane while Jungkook picked up Yugyeom on his back. Mark laughed as he started taking photos on Bam Bam’s phone which consisted of them laughing and doing funny faces for each one. Jackson and Namjoon even photobombed a few with funny facial expressions of their own. When Bam Bam noticed, he laughed and showed it to his 97 Liner friends. 

After getting the photo from Bam Bam, she posted the photo on Twitter and Instagram with the caption, ‘Reunited~! Squad! Missing the rest of the 97 Liner gang’

As the music show went on, Bangtan did a mini fan meeting as fans with Army bombs screamed for them while SHINee’s Key and GOT7’s Bam Bam were the MCs.

“Alright, these people who have set the music industry on fire with HwaYangYeonHwa have properly announced their declaration to soar this time! BTS!” Key announced.

“2! 3! Bang-Tan! Hello, we are BTS!”

“Could you please introduce your second full album, WINGS for us?” Bam Bam asked the group.

“Yes, our second full album, WINGS, consists of 16 tracks and we can say it is an album full of dark, dark, sexy, sexy charms that you have never seen from us before!” Suga answered as some fans covered their faces with the WINGS album and waved away their Bangtan Bomb in the background.

“Alright, we heard that your concept this time is boy meets temptations and so we have investigated what temptations each of the members have met. Bam Bam?” Key asked.

“Jungkook, who has turned 20 years old this year has indeed met sexiness properly!” he announced as Jungkook smiled at the camera and raised an eyebrow. “I am also 20 years old this year but I don’t know why I haven’t met sexiness. So please show us some sexiness in element!”

“You want me to show you?” Jungkook asked.

“Yes!”

Grabbing onto his belt, Jungkook body rolled and bit his bottom lip as fans ate it up, screaming. J-Hope dropped his jaw and then placed an arm over Bam Bam’s shoulder, body rolling with him. Watching the duo join Jungkook in body rolls, Jennie stared at them like they were crazy.

“Woah, woah, woah! Please stop!” Key exclaimed.

“Y’all are clowns,” she laughed.

“That was great, alright. But Jin, is this the end?” Key asked.

“Of course not! Rap Monster and I, the outer wings of dance in BTS, have met our temptations from dancing! We shall show you the choreography point of Blood, Sweat and Tears!” he answered.

“Now, 5, 6, 7, 8!” J-Hope counted as they watched them perform a small section of the dance. “That was just fantastic!” he praised with Jungkook.

“Everyone, that is not the choreography point. The 95 liners, who have met temptations from both sexiness and dance will show you the choreography point move properly!” Jimin spoke up.

“The friends who were born in ’95!” Key said.

“Yup! 5, 6, 7, 8!” J-Hope counted down again as they danced with Jin singing the chorus.

“Jennie has shown an enticing persona that has captured the hearts of many fans. What temptations have you encountered?” Bam Bam asked.

She stood there, pondering for a moment after taking the mic. Then she suddenly took out a handful of Smarties from her pocket. “Smartie galore~!”

The boys laughed with her as she dramatically presented the candy on screen. She turned around and gave some to a few lucky fans. When some asked her to throw some in the back, she tossed the rest.

“If you watch M Countdown’s live broadcast, the temptation of revealing it for the first time, what temptations are there to this, Jennie?” Key asked her.

Holding the mic as she stood next to Suga, she pointed out the signed BTS WINGS album he was holding. “If you watch the broadcast, you could win a signed copy of our new album! All you gotta do is take a picture of the live broadcast on your screen and mention it to M Countdown Twitter! So, tweet away!”

“Jennie, I want to watch your performance of Blood, Sweat and Tears now and get the signed CD!” Bam Bam pointed out.

“Woah, woah, before you watch our performance stage of our title track, aren’t you curious about the temptations that I, J-Hope have encountered?” he asked. “These days I’m into the temptations of elegant and gleaming women~. Yeah~.”

“BTS’ first comeback stage of 21st century girl will be revealed for the first time, very soon and if you continue to watch the live broadcast after that you will be able to meet our title track as well!” Jungkook pointed to the camera.

“Before that, the first revealing performance of the most mystic ones, Ladies Code!” Rapmon announced.

“And Monsta X’s stage too, M Countdown-“

“Let’s go, let’s go!” they all shouted and jumped around.

For the recording of 21st Century Girl, as the group got into formation, the audience began to loudly sing Happy Birthday to Jimin which warmed Jennie’s heart. He grinned and bowed before sending fans a heart. Throughout the entire performance, she had a big smile on her face, clearly indicating that this was if not her favorite song out of the album.

As the broadcast went on, it was finally time to perform Blood, Sweat & Tears. The setting BTS was in looked similar to how it was in the music video as Jennie's demeanor turned into work mode and her expression turned serious. Getting into her BST persona, she stood in the back for the opening pose.

As Jimin’s ethereal vocals started off the song,

Every day she was finding more ways to improve on this sexy persona she was told to do for this comeback. Her appearances weren’t enough, so she chose to do what she did best and make the camera her best friend.

“How much longer before you consume me? No matter how much I resist, I can’t fight what you’re doing,”

Looking behind her and then back at the crowd, she snapped her fingers and everyone dropped to the floor except for V.

Staring at her with desire, he had a playful smirk on his face and got behind her. Covering her eyes and having his other hand hold onto her securely, they lean to the side.

“My mind is telling me to break free but my body is freaking out. No, I can’t want you, get out of my head. As you love every inch of me you see that I want it too.”

Once he removed his hand from her eyes, she felt his breath on her neck.

“Breath on my neck, I bit off more than I can chew. Reflecting on my choices, I’m wonderin’ if there’s any way out of this,"

Once she turned her head back to look at him, he leaned in close like he was going to kiss her, hence loud screaming occurring. She pushed him away and turned her attention back to the crowd, to dance.

"I’m losing this battle, I just can’t resist. Only a matter of time before you screw me up and I’ll be stuck reminiscing,” she covered her mouth and joined the rest of the group who got up as J-Hope rapped his verse.

As V stood in front of the camera to sing, Suga reached for his neck while J-Hope grabbed his wrist on the other side.

After their ending pose, the lights went out and the audience cheered loudly.

Once the staff announced the recording was over, Jennie’s excited sound effect and “Woo! That was hot! We did it!” was heard which made everyone laugh.

“Whoops, I thought my mic was off,” she giggled and took off her earpiece.

After their recording, in the dressing room, Jennie and Jin prepared the cake. They were recorded for a Bangtan Bomb to surprise Jimin for his birthday.

“Fancy packaging,” she commented as they carefully opened the box. 

After setting it up, Jungkook lit up the candles while their manager went to call Jimin back into the room.

“Oh! Ya, that looks delicious!” Hobi said.

With the lights off and Jin holding the cake while V had flowers in his hand, “Happy birthday to you!” everyone sang while Jennie jumped and clapped around with Hobi.

“Happy birthday to you! Our dear Park Jimin! Happy birthday to you!”

“Blow!” Jin presented the cake in front of him.

With a big smile, Jimin happily blew out the candles.

“Look at this! Your dad sent it to you,” V presented him with the flowers.

“Wow, my dad is daebak!” Jimin said and took the flowers.

“To show how much he loves you,” Suga joined in the conversation.

Jimin pointed out that the cake was the same cake he bought Rap Monster when he spent his first birthday with him. The cake was even meaningful.

“Also the members individually bought you presents,” J-Hope told him.

“YEAAAAAAH~!” the birthday boy shouted.

After they celebrated with cake, Jen saw that Jimin had finished recording for a Bangtan Bomb to talk about how grateful he was for the birthday wishes. She thought it was the best time to give him her gift.

“Happy birthday~!” she sat next to him, holding a photo album in her hands. “Thank you for being born and being such an amazing soul. This is for you! I made it myself. Remember I asked you for all the Polaroids you’ve taken over the years? This is what I was working on,”

When he opened it, he saw that all his polaroids were in a collection by date. It had captions of the memories along with some stories she had written as she thought about the memories BTS has had so far.

“Oh wow...Ennie, this is...wow,” he said breathlessly as he was in awe at the gift.

Her nervousness for his reaction went away when she saw how thrilled he was. “I’m glad you like it!” 

"Thank you,” he set it down and pulled her in for a hug. “This is beautiful. I’ll cherish it for a long time,”

Back at the dorm, Jimin took the time to look over the entire album. He looked at the polaroid of her, Jin, and him spending the day together during their trainee days.

‘Remember when you and Jin took me to this Korean BBQ place? You guys made me try out so many things. We should go back there sometime!’

At the end of the album, he noticed there were five custom themed Jennie Bakery coupons for whenever he wanted her baked goods.

‘Anything baked for you is on me! Just hand me the coupon! :)’

Grabbing one of the coupons, Jimin made his way to her room.

Jennie felt a gentle hand on her shoulder while she was seated at her desk on her computer. Glancing at the coupon, she smiled and looked up to see Jimin smiling warmly.

“I could use some of your cookies, right now,” he said kindly.

“You got it, birthday boy,” she stood up.

“Could I...bake with you? I don’t want you to do all the work,”

“Sure! Let’s do it,”

For another Bangtan Bomb, dressed in her BST outfit in the dressing room, Jennie held baby Jordan, bouncing in beat as Bang Bang Bang by Big Bang came on shuffle from her phone. She was listening to music to pass the time while the rest of the members got ready.

As she danced around to TOP’s rap, Hobi, who was done getting ready came to join her in dancing.

Standing next to him, she held Jordan securely against her chest with one arm and with the other, moved her arm around to perform the choreography of the chorus.

After dancing, Jen was asked to explain why she had a baby with her since fans would be curious why a baby toy was going everywhere with Bangtan. 

Seated on the couch, with Jordan in her arms, she explained, “Jungkook and I are in a class where we have an assignment to take care of a baby. We named him Jordan. It’s kinda funny because taking care of this robot baby is like a sims game but in baby toy form. I hope we pass. So far it’s been smooth sailing. But apparently, it’s supposed to get harder as the assignment’s due date approaches. The teacher is very strict about making sure everyone does well on this project. Cheer us on, please,“

When Namjoon and Suga asked to play with the baby, Jungkook sat on the couch with Jennie and watched the rappers play around. Their fingers were intertwined as they sat comfortably while amused at the pair playing around with Jordan.

“Let’s teach Jordan how to rap. The ninth member of Bangtan. Baby Jordan, right here, and he about to be on the next rap line song!” Suga shouted proudly.

“I love! I love! I love myself!” the rappers began rapping the song to Jordan.

Sensing the Bangtan Bomb camera turning towards them, Jungkook quickly removed his hand from hers. They both scooted away to avoid looking too close for comfort in the nick of time as the camera caught them casually watching the two rap. Although it could just be edited, they still didn’t want to take any chance since ARMY is like the FBI these days. 

“What are y’all doing?” Jen exclaimed as the camera caught the Golden Duo staring at them like they were crazy.

"I'm surprised Jordan hasn't cried. Maybe he likes it," Jungkook spoke up.

"Shit, you could be right," she replied as they heard the baby robot laugh.

With WINGS out, fan signs began for Bangtan as Jennie was met with the most common questions on whether she was dating V and what color she would be dyeing her hair next.

‘IS THIS REAL!? Did he really say this!?’

‘IT’S REAL GUYS! It is from today’s fan sign! He answered this for a fan!’

‘Taehyung and Jennie cannot be left alone in a room together no more. I don’t trust it!’

‘I knew something was up with the way they were staring at each other at music shows’

‘I’m maaaaaad as helllll rn. Why can’t it be me!?’

‘I lowkey be replaying THAT scene on the low because there is just no way that was acting’

‘PAUSE! The music video’s rating was supposed to be higher!?’

‘They were supposed to KISS!? I WANT TO SEE IT!’

‘Jennie! V! Explain yourselves!’

‘I’m amazed by their acting abilities to do what they did in front of the staff for the MV. I could never.’

‘All right dispatch, reveal that they’re dating! We waiting for that article’

‘Missed opportunity to kiss. BH made a mistake!’

‘I still have this image of Jennie being a baby. She’s acting sexy too quickly. Slow down PLEASE! I can’t handle this!’

Army on Twitter was in a frenzy when a K-Fan posted Taehyung’s answer regarding scenes that did not make the cut in the music video from today’s fan sign.

The photo consisted of a written response on the note the fan provided which had Taehyung say: ‘The music video was originally supposed to be rated 12 but due to Ennie and I, it was boosted to rated 15. At one point in the music video, Ennie and I were supposed to kiss. But they chose not to do it because the rating would have been even higher for the video. Kekeke’

Backstage after recordings, BTS sat to watch their performances of 21st Century Girl and Blood, Sweat & Tears. Jennie took Jungkook’s seat next to Yoongi when he decided to stand behind the group with Hobi.

21st Century Girl was being shown and they commented on how good they looked.

“Look at me working hard!” Yoongi pointed out.

“V knows what’s good,” Rapmon said as he watched V in the front during the chorus.

“I love this song, oh my gosh,” Jen giggled as she watched herself dance around with Yoongi. She swayed a little to the beat.

“You and Yoongi had a lot of fun on this stage,” Jin noticed.

“They really did,” Rapmon chuckled.

“Jimin’s acting here is really good,” Jungkook said.

“Doesn’t he act well?”

Jimin laughed. “I’m going crazy over Rap Monster,”

“I didn’t know my eyes were that big until today,” Rapmon went on.

“Music Core always captures us nicely on camera,” Hobi praised. “The colors are so pretty,”

“It’s our first time watching our performance on TV,” Jin said as Blood, Sweat & Tears came on.

“Oh boy,” Jennie grinned nervously as she watched herself. She also analyzed how she moved so she could improve for their next performances.

“The set is really pretty,” Hobi looked on.

The boys started to tease Jimin about having a motor on his body with the way he moved and that Jungkook couldn’t imitate his movements.

“Of all the outfits he wore, this suits Jimin the best, I think,” Rapmon pointed.

“Agreed. This is definitely his era,” Jen praised.

When they saw his shoulder showing after his jacket slid off a little, the members laughed and pointed it out.

“His clothes came off! He’s showing off his body~!” Hobi shouted.

“Here he gooooooo~.” Jennie threw her head back, laughing with him.

“He practiced it all,” Jin declared.

“No, no~!” Jimin giggled and leaned forward.

“I think we should focus. Suga said he came out great on this performance,” Hobi changed the subject.

“Jennie~! Look at you go!” Rap Monster cheered.

“You’re growing up too fast for me,” Jin joked. “Are you trying to make ARMY nervous?”

“Perhaps,” she grinned sheepishly.

“Jennie’s expressions are no joke,” Suga said in amazement.

“Oh my gosh, I don’t remember making that face,” she pointed out as she watched herself sing.

Watching his girlfriend on the screen, Jungkook smirked softly and raised an eyebrow, taking in how good she looked.

“Jungkook’s outfit is very...” Jimin tried to think of the right word.

“It makes him look like an adult,” Rapmon answered

“He’s like an adult. It looks really sexy on him,”

‘You can say that again. How lucky am I? Whew,’  Jen thought as she bit her bottom lip softly, staring harder than usual at the screen when Jungkook appeared.

Once they saw Jimin back on the screen again, they watched as he did his shoulder accident once more, which caused them to go crazy.

“WOW~!”

“YASSSSSS!” she clapped.

For SBS Inkigayo, BTS performed BST in a different stage setting. As soon as Rapmon said Peaches and Cream, Jennie felt a few buttons from her top pop off, revealing more cleavage than she wanted as she heard fans scream at the unexpected exposed skin and bra.

‘Nice...frickin’ nice...’ she thought as she professionally continued to dance while keeping a tight grip on her top.

After getting up from the floor, she was forced to dance with one hand.

Jin immediately noticed what was wrong when something in his gut told him to glance over at her. And there she was with a wardrobe malfunction. The audience screamed louder when they watched him take off his red jacket. As she desperately gripped her shirt to block her chest from being seen, Jin improvised their dance by having his red jacket in his hands to give to her.

“How much longer before you consume me?” she sang as she felt him place his jacket over her.

Putting her arms in it, her chest was now covered as she wore his jacket for the rest of the performance. It felt warm and it was pretty large on her. She was grateful. 

Smiling, she caressed his cheek to go back along with their choreography. Gently pushing her hand away, he looked ahead like he was trying to go to the other side. Watching him walk past her where the rest of the boys were, she rushed up and hugged him from behind.

After the performance was over, Jennie was quick to rush backstage with Jin following behind her as they went to the dressing room.

“Is she all right? What happened?” Rapmon asked with concern as the rest of the members went into full protection mode to get to the bottom of what was wrong.

“That was embarrassing,” Jen cringed as her entire face was on fire from the sudden moment. Feeling angry about the situation, some tears went down her cheeks.

Hobi and Jin stood in front of her, trying to calm her down.

“Don’t do that. Don’t cry. It’s okay, Jennie,” Hobi cupped her face after Jin told him what happened. He used his thumbs to wipe her tears. “None of this was your fault. You’ve done so well, today. This hiccup will not overshadow that. You hear me, munchkin?“

She nodded and felt him kiss her forehead.

“I brought smarties to cheer you up,” Jin presented her with a bag, making her eyes light up. He always brought some with him just in case.

“Guys...thank you. And Jin, I owe you. What you did with your jacket, thank you. I appreciate you so much for what you did out there,”

“You said you wanted to be my daughter for a long time. I too want you as my daughter for a long time. I’ll always be here to protect you,” he blew her a flying kiss. “You know what? I recall this dad joke I heard a while ago. You know what it was?”

“What was it?”

“What kind of cheese can never be yours?”

“Um...not sure. What is it?”

“Nacho cheese!” he laughed.

She didn’t know if it was the dad joke or his infectious laugh that caused her to burst out in laughter but whatever it was, she was feeling better already.

“There’s that smile! Yay~!” Hobi jumped up and down with Jin.

Once the rest of the boys came in, they were told what happened and saw that Jin and Hobi boosted her mood. They were glad Jennie was doing better and kept praising her professionalism today. After the stylists had fixed her shirt and she leaned up against one of the tables, on her phone.

Jungkook lifted her chin and smiled softly when he approached her. “You all right?”

“Yes. I’m feeling better. Thank you,” she smiled.

“Wow, so we both had our shirts ripped together. How convenient,” he joked.

On this day, it seemed like the Golden Duo’s clothes couldn’t handle the performance. It looked like only one button was trying to hold on from Jungkook’s shirt as he performed. He understood that his situation was different given that he could easily reveal his chest unlike her.

“Yours was like BAM! Didn’t the arm rip, too?” she laughed as he showed her after unpinning the closed hole. “Wow, it did!”

After settling down in the dressing room, Jen tweeted. ‘Welp...#Jen’

Fans were quick to reply to express their sympathy for her:

#ItsOKJennie trended after fans found out about the sudden malfunction. Even as they recorded a few times, for some reason her shirt would not function right and kept popping open. But what made their hearts soar was that Jin was the first to notice on stage and loved that he had given her his red jacket. Jin was praised all over Twitter for his quick action as fans called him a positive father figure for her.

The person deleted their comment and went private immediately, unable to take the heat of fans protecting her on social media. Dismissing the hate comments, Jen went on to stay in a positive mindset and focused on the supportive comments.

Scrolling through Twitter and Tumblr, the memes and gifs were already made from her incident which made her laugh. The K-Pop stans that enjoyed sexy moments were having a field day, trying to get any chance they could to see more sexy Jennie. What took her out was the slow-motion gifs of her top popping.

“I cannot with peopleeeee,” she laughed wholeheartedly, forgetting all about the embarrassment.

She took the time to see a hashtag about her trending which made her heart soar. K-Pop fans really knew how to make idols feel great when they were at their lowest.

As promotions for Blood, Sweat & Tears continued, Jennie and Jungkook had been visibly stressed with juggling school and idol life. So, when they found out they had to record and perform at the KBS Open Concert on October 18th, the duo was not too pleased since they had exams the following day.

With no time to study due to practice and promoting? The duo was pissed.

Jennie seemed to have calmed down when she arrived at the show and saw her friends. She soon had the mindset that it was what it was and she would just have to go with the flow and do the best she could for the exam. Jungkook on the other hand was still irate and remained silent as his mind wandered to how he was going to be able to get any studying in. He even brought books to attempt to cram but did not get the opportunity to look over his notes because he was called for other tasks.

“Girl, I am going to fail tomorrow. This written exam is going to kill me,” Jen began venting to Hayoon as they walked together backstage.

“What? Why do you say that?” Hayoon asked in astonishment.

“Yoonie, they got me performing today and promoting left and right. Fan signs and I had no time whatsoever to study for this exam. I am so annoyed. You know how I am about school,”

“Oh gosh. And this is such a successful comeback for Bangtan. So more demand for you guys, huh?”

“Right? I’m so grateful for the success but it would be nice if the industry could give idol students a break to prioritize with our studies. But it seems like things don’t work that way, here. I dunno what I am going to do, girl. I’m worried about my grades,”

“Oh nooooo. And I saw Jungkook earlier. Is he all right? He kind of scared me with how visibly angry he looked tonight,”

“Oh boy. Yeah, he’s taking this situation harder than me. He is not happy. I’m trying to give him his space. I don’t want to annoy him,”

“Understandable. You think you’ll get any studying in after recording?”

“I need to. I have no choice. I’m going to have to just sacrifice sleep, tonight,”

After catching up with Hayoon, Jennie met up with BTS to prepare to perform BST and Fire. Bangtan walked on stage and got ready for their opening pose of BST. As the song began and they danced, Jungkook’s annoyance visibly showed on camera as well as looking like he wanted to be somewhere else instead of on stage. Jennie had a serious expression on her face as she performed, not even bothering to portray her trademark sexy persona for this performance. If anything, she just wanted to get this over with so she could study. She even found herself trying to think of what she had crammed for before arriving at the venue.

'Science was it? Damn it, I need to remember those formulas. Oh wait, I need to sing,’ she thought as she heard background music and saw some of the members glancing over at her when she almost missed her cue. She quickly snapped out of her thoughts and began to sing.

It was Suga’s turn to be with her for her part of the song and fans screamed louder when he came up and gently grabbed her neck. He held her close from behind as she leaned to the side. He spun her around and the pair continued to dance with one another.

“Only a matter of time before you screw me up and I’ll be stuck reminiscing,” she sang as she pressed her forehead against his.

Amused about their closeness, the two ended up smiling as they broke away and went back to their places as J-Hope rapped. As she performed, Jennie noticed familiar faces of her fansites that she met up with during her time in America. She smiled brightly at their cameras, acknowledging them. She even blew a kiss at one lucky fansite that was bound to get thousands of views alone from that moment. While hearing fans screaming and screeching out the lyrics, she couldn’t help but chuckle softly as she continued to move smoothly.

Once Fire came on, the members were hyping up the crowd. Jen glanced over at her boyfriend who was still visibly mad on stage.

'Oh boy. Fansites are going to have a field day with this,’ she thought.

As they leaned on one side, she locked eyes with Jungkook, initiating another nonverbal conversation.

'You good?’ she shot him a look of concern.

His eyes softened a bit as he didn’t want to take out his frustration on her. So, instead of rolling his eyes or giving her a cold response, he shook his head slightly while remaining serious on camera. The look he gave her was clear as it told her that he was still pissed about the situation they were in and that he just wanted to go home and study.

Oof. This was bad.

Whenever she glanced over at Jungkook with worry, he looked more irritated by the second as they performed. She didn’t blame him. The fact that they had to go to school after performing at this event late at night should be a crime. What she was not expecting was for him to be this angry at the situation that he would show off his emotions on stage. After the song ended, he rolled his eyes and walked off the stage. Meanwhile, Jennie hissed at the aching foot that had been bothering her all night. She had been on her feet all day and dancing in heels did not help. Once she was able to sit backstage, just keeping weight off the foot made her feel better. A massage would do the trick. And perhaps putting heat on it.

Nothing like a pair of comfortable Nikes to help as she put on a pair.

The car ride back to the dorm went quickly as Jungkook silently seethed over having to cram for the exam in the morning. Once the car stopped at the dorm, he immediately got out after Jennie and Hobi did and slammed the door shut. The sound of him slamming the door made some of the members flinch.

“Jeesh, I didn’t think this was going to affect him this badly,” Hobi murmured, a little frightened at Jungkook’s demeanor.

Jennie exhaled and followed the group inside the dorm.

What do girlfriends do to help calm their angry boyfriends down, was the question on her mind as she watched her annoyed beau walk towards her bedroom door, ignoring everyone.

Jungkook turned and looked at her as if asking if she was going to follow him to her room. Once he saw that she was, he opened the door and let her go inside first.

“Leave the door open-“ Jin tried to warn but heard Jungkook shut the door after he walked inside. “Okay, but don’t lock it!”

Once he heard a click, indicating the door was locked, he sighed in annoyance while the rest laughed at him being ignored.

“Ah...let them rest. They have a long day tomorrow.” Namjoon advised.

“I hope he’s all right,” Hobi murmured.

“He will be,” Yoongi reassured. “Give the kids their space,”

“Ennie will make sure he’s fine. Let’s not bother them,” Taehyung thought positively.

“That means no knocking on their door. I fear he may get really angry at us and end up shouting or something,” Jimin added while keeping baby Jordan so they could try to study.

With Jennie, she watched Jungkook lay face first into the covers. Her soft sheets made him feel comfortable as he rested, trying to control his emotions. He just wanted a moment of silence before cramming.

‘Should I give him space or...’ she pondered, not sure what to do in this situation.

She didn’t take it personally on him being in a foul mood and not wanting to speak to anyone. Everyone has their bad days. The main thing she wanted to avoid was saying the wrong thing and making him angrier. Deciding to leave him be, she went to her bathroom to set up a bubble bath. He could really use one. He had been working extremely hard during Blood, Sweat & Tears, she could only imagine how tense his muscles were tonight.

‘This’ll do for sure.’ she thought after being satisfied with the amount of bubbles in the hot water.

She put a ton of vanilla bubble bath liquid in the tub, making a bunch of bubbles. She then set up some scented candles around to enhance his relaxation. You can never go wrong with candles. When she came back to her bedroom, she found him standing up, wondering where she was.

‘Poor thing...you look so distressed.’ she thought with a sigh.

She smiled understandingly and pulled him in for a warm hug. The hug made him exhale as her arms wrapped around his waist, gently squeezing him. She felt him engulf his arms around her as she rested her head against his chest. They stood there for a while, enjoying the embrace. A hug could do so much as Jungkook’s frustrations began to melt away. The hug seemed to have started to make him feel better as Jennie felt his body relaxed. But she also noticed how tense his back was like she predicted. It began to bother her and she wanted to do something about it.

Looking up at him, she said, “Kookie, you’re tense,"

"I know...I'm just a little stressed out,"

"Here, take off your shirt and lay back down on your stomach. I’ll massage you for a little bit,”

Looking down at her, he smiled softly at her gesture but shook his head. “Ah, it’s fine. How about we just try to study and then go to sleep?”

She frowned and removed herself from his arms. “No, you’re stressed out, Kookie. I don’t like that. And I do not want you studying and going to bed with a tense back,”

“Baby, I’ll be fine.”

She rolled her eyes. “For goodness sake, what is with men being so stubborn? You know what?” 

Quickly, she removed his black jacket, taking him by surprise as he watched her toss it on her bed. He was left in his black V-neck shirt which showed a large amount of his chiseled chest.

“Arms up. Now,” she demanded.

Amused by her sudden demanding voice, he smirked softly and raised an eyebrow.

"Okay, Miss Walker,"

“Stop, I'm being serious,” she cracked a smile, earning a low chuckle from him.

He did what he was told and she grabbed on the bottom of his shirt, slowly lifting it. Once it was over his head, she tossed it on the bed.

“Lie down,” she directed him.

She watched as he got on her bed and laid on his stomach. Feeling her weight on him, Jungkook relaxed under her touch as she went to work on his back, feeling the warm massage oil from her hands. He should stop being so headstrong and listen to her when it came to her massages. He was feeling a difference already as he let out a sigh of bliss. After finishing up, she got off him and he stood up, feeling refreshed as he stretched.

“There!” she happily announced. “All done. I prepared a bath. Go in there and relax. My iPad is there too for whatever you want to watch. And once you’re done, we try to cram and then get some sleep. Now while you’re doing that, I need to start cramming.” 

After thanking her, Jungkook went into the bathroom to see the bubble bath prepared. He smiled at the bath. She always found the smallest things to pamper him with.

As he began to unbuckle his belt, a sweet vanilla aroma filled his nose as he looked at all the Bath & Body Works candles she set out.

‘You are always taking care of me. What did I do to deserve you?’ he thought with a smile as his previous negative emotions went away.

With Jennie, she stared at her textbook, confused by the science questions.

‘The heck is this? All I know is that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. What am I supposed to do with all the rest of this science stuff? I’m not going to go to college for science. Why am I learning this? Why is this on the exam? Ugh!’ she whined in her head.

“Screwed...definitely screwed...that’s a thing? I don’t remember this...mega screwed...aw damn it, I forgot I need to know these formulas,” she rambled, skimming through the pages. "Why can't we just use a cheat sheet? Fuck my life..."

“Baby?”

“Yes?” she looked up from her textbook to see Jungkook wrapped up in a towel, leaning against the door frame.

‘Oh my...’ she thought as she tried to keep her eyes up.

“The tub looks big enough for two,” he said smoothly.

Two...?

Her face began to heat up at his words.

Did he mean...

“You want me to join you?” she asked with surprise in her voice.

He nodded like it was the simplest thing ever.

“You should relax, too,” he added.

“U-um...all right. Can you just give me a moment?"

Jungkook seemed pleased that she accepted his offer and nodded again. "Yeah. I'll be waiting for you," he smiled and went back inside, closing the door.

Once her boyfriend was out of sight, she fell back on her bed and began freaking out in her head. She then proceeded to punch and kick the air in excitement and nervousness.

'Oh my God! A bath!? With Jungkook!?' she exclaimed in her head.

She got out of bed and started pacing around, trying to pull herself together.

'Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck! OKAY! BREATHE!' she rambled in her head as reality set in that she just agreed to take a bath with him.

She looked at herself in her large mirror, taking in her appearance. She was still in the attire she danced in for the event which consisted of a black dress with both slits high up and safety shorts. Grabbing a hair tie, Jennie put her hair in a high bun so her hair wouldn't get wet.

'You can do this. You can do this. It's just a bath. A relaxing...intimate bath. Girl...stop stalling. He's waiting on you.' she thought.

She let out a breath and then looked at her clothes. 'Should I...be the one to take this off...or should...'

Jennie glanced at the bathroom door and then back at her reflection. "Okay,"

When she went inside the bathroom and closed the door, she saw that Jungkook hadn't gotten in the tub yet and was patiently waiting for her as he leaned up against the sink.

"Hi," she smiled as she met his loving gaze.

Drinking her in, he returned her smile. "Hi,"

She noticed that he had dimmed the lights to set more of a romantic tone instead. What a view it was as she admired the new setting he provided for them.

“Wow, this is romantic,”

"You like it?"

"Yeah, this is sweet,"

"I'm glad. We never did anything like this before, have we?” he asked as he slowly made his way to her.

“This is a first. Um, could you help me?"

"Yeah, I got you,"

She turned around and once she felt him behind her, her heart rate quickened. Caressing her arms, Jungkook lightly kissed her left shoulder and grabbed the zipper of her dress.

“Relax, Jennie,” he said as he pulled the zipper down. “Let’s relax together and get our minds off the stress, okay?”

“Sounds good,”

As they both got in, Jungkook told her to sit across from him. The bath water was warm as the fragrant suds covered their bodies, relaxing their muscles. She then felt him grab her left foot gently and massage it. It happened to be the foot she felt the most aches and pains with. Despite being mad on stage, Jungkook was quick to notice her discomfort and made a mental note to take care of it.

“I-I thought YOU were supposed to be the one relaxing,” she exclaimed.

“I am,” he smiled. “Seeing you relaxed helps me relax, too. And besides, you hurt your foot. You need this bath as much as I do.”

“I thought I hid it. I didn’t think it was that big of a deal. The ache would go away after a day or two. I just needed to get off of it for a while. And I was kind of planning on massaging it myself while you were taking a bath,” she sighed in content as his large hands worked wonders on her foot.

“Lucky you have me, right? I prefer you to let me massage you, instead. So just tell me, all right?”

“I will,” she promised. “So, do you want to vent to me about how you've been feeling?"

And he did, expressing himself about how frustrated he was that they had to perform so late despite having an exam in the morning. After venting to her, he felt much better and they continued to enjoy their bath.

She watched Jungkook, who had his eyes closed with his arms stretched out, resting on the tub. Deciding to be playful, she made her way over to him and grabbed a handful of bubbles. Jungkook opened his eyes to watch her place bubbles all over his head, shaping it like a hat. He let out a laugh and she commenced to put bubbles around his face like a beard.

“There. My masterpiece is done.” she giggled, moving back slightly.

“How do I look?”

“Amazing, all thanks to me,”

Before he could speak again, she splashed him. The bubbles washed away from his face and his hair also got wet. He shook his head and wiped his face while she laughed out loud.

“I’m sorry, I had to. The look on your face!”

“That’s how it is?” he smirked and began to lean forward.

Widening her eyes, she quickly moved back until her back hit the back of the tub. “Back up! Stop!” she pleaded with laughter and shielded herself from his assault.

The splash was bigger than anticipated as it hit the iPad hanging against the wall. A few candles got drowned out, and some water spilled over to the floor, too, making a huge mess.

“Jeon Jungkook!” she exclaimed, wiping her face.

“Whoops. Maybe I overdid it,”

“You think!?”

“Sorry, honey! Oh no, your iPad!” he noticed and turned Jungshook immediately. He stopped freaking out once he heard her laugh.

“You are so damn extra, oh my God! Look at the mess you made. It’s waterproof. The case is waterproof,” she said, waving his concerns away. “No worries. As for the floor,” she glanced over to the large puddle along with their soaked clothes.

“We’ll live,” he replied and gripped the tub for support as he leaned over her to kiss her deeply.

As their bath continued, Jungkook said, “Come here,” and gently grabbed her to let her lean her back against his chest while his back rested against the tub. Feeling safe and relaxed in his arms, Jennie agreed to watch one episode of anime with him before leaving the tub. As the episode went on, Jen felt him kiss her temple.

"You are so good to me. Thank you for this. I love you," he said in her ear, making her smile.

She turned her head to look back at him and kissed him in response. "I love you, too,"

Things were going to be all right.

After their bath, and changing their pajamas, the couple stayed up to study, sacrificing their sleep. They sat on her bed with books and papers scattered around as they tried to refresh their heads on what the exam would entail.

“Remember, this is going to be on it. It’ll talk about these two topics. I remember the teacher pointing this out. Look at the notes and highlights,” she told him.

“Got it. We need to know about this one, too?” he asked with full concentration.

“Nah, they decided not to put that on the exam so we straight,”

“Good. I hated learning about that,”

“You and me both,”

Jungkook pointed out the Korean grammar to her. “We’re writing an essay on this topic. How’s your grammar looking?”

“It’s going. But it could be better,” she admitted.

“Let’s start with the basics and work our way up just like you did with me for English,”

“Do we have time for that?”

“I’ll make time,”

“Okay,”

A few hours went by as they continued to stay awake and make sure what they studied marinated in their brains.

“Oh, and the formulas. You gotta convert this to that. And then minus that from the second number, not the first,” she pointed it out to him.

He quickly did a practice problem and used his calculator.

“This it?” he showed her his answer.

“Hmmm, I got a different answer. Um...yeah, that’s wrong. You forgot to do this part,” she demonstrated.

“Ahhhh, okay. All right, what about this?” he did another practice problem and showed her his answer.

“Outstanding,” she praised.

A wide grin came across his features and he leaned in to give her a quick kiss. “Golden Maknae does it again,”

“You’re a dork,” she giggled and grabbed another textbook.

After another hour, Jungkook continued to work on math, getting the hang of what was needed.

“I think I got it. Babe? Babe? Jennie?” he looked up to see that she had fallen asleep.

He smiled at her sleeping form and then yawned himself. With sleep overpowering him, Jungkook found himself sleeping next to her with their books and papers still scattered on the bed. The couple had about two hours of sleep to spare before it was time to get ready for school. They were going to enjoy it while it lasted.

Eu vira e mexe deixo de escrever ou passo a escrever pra algum grupo ou solista dependendo do meu humor, o que não é problema algum. Então, faça uns primeiros testes. Escreva alguns hc ou fics mais longas com um certo idol e deixa guardado nos seus rascunhos, aí você vai sabendo com qual deles você consegue desenvolver melhor.

Sobre a comunidade, é muito importante um feedback, como escritora eu entendo muito bem, mas a gnt que escreve tem que sempre tentar não pensar muito nisso, porque senão a nossa escrita, o nosso hobby, vira um produto que só funciona por demanda, e deixa de ser algo que vai te trazer prazer. Os leitores vão vir, eles sempre vem, hoje a comunidade geral de leitores e escritores aqui é muito maior e a gente dá suporte um pro outro. Mas essa coisa de notas ou reblogs não pode subir a cabeça, porque às vezes, dependendo do idol ou do assunto, você vai ter sla 200 reblogs e notas, e em outro post vai ter 10, ou nem isso.

O jeito é você criar seu próprio mundinho no seu blog, um lugar onde você escreve o que quiser (lógico, sem ofender 500 minorias) e dá atenção pra uma parte criativa de você que não ganha atenção normalmente. A pessoa mais feliz com o seu blog tem que ser você♡

my criteria for buying albums changed a lot with time i think!! nowadays i mainly buy albums if i really like the way it looks (the packaging) and/or when i know i will enjoy the photobook (mostly if i really loved the concept pics for a given version!) . or if i Really want some of the inclusions (i'm currently debating buying the upcoming nmixx album because im absolutely in love with the silly little fluffy keychain guy that comes with the ? limited edition i think...) . i used to often buy any album of a group i was REALLY into (and thus my skz collection despite not really being into their music as much anymore, for example), though, or albums that i really liked from a musical standpoint (which is why i am...the owner of a jay park album....................,)

what's also interesting to mention is that before i ever started buying kpop albums i WAS buying jpop albums, actually!! my collection of those isn't as huge (in part bc they're way more expensive, and in part because i pretty much stopped getting those soon after getting into kpop). so. if u'll allow me. i'll add these to this post as well.... they're still v important to me </3

now i wanna be a little annoying and talk about them sorry . first of all, currently on display are these: (as well as my cravity photobook and one of my victon the future is now albums on other shelves).

unsure how to talk about every album individually without being super annoying so. being annoying will have to do. but soooo . starting with what i have Here at my place.

my entire skz collection is currently in a box, but i am you was my first album purchase after i moved here, from my trusty kpop store (musica i love u). i really, really love the way its cover looks!!! most skz photobooks are varying from boring to ugly (so do the packagings, since go live)(it all started going downhill with god's menu i'm sorry to be saying this but it's true), but i quite like this one and the levanter one!!! and the mixtape album is also cute in a way!

i also really like the nostalgia album (and so does my mom, btw, which i can't say about most of my photobooks sadly). the way the box is cut also made it perfect to help me display one postcard at a time on my display shelf for a while lol also i really love this album from a musical standpoint! i remember looping it a lot in my compsci labs . . . the other two victon albums i pre-ordered after seeing the concept pictures . . . they were princes for me..... if there's one thing you have to know about me it's that i will always be insane about a prince/royalty/knight concept. also they had like pc-sized little ?? mirrors?? idk but that's rlly cute it's hanging off my bookshelf rn. and i really like my fame album as well because....well i like swoo. and the photocards were really cute!!!!

the ace album i absolutely LOVE from a visual standpoint it's SO pretty (my mom doesn't understand its beauty sadly). it's so pretty it will always be on display idc i love it... it's also very thin and while that's sad (i could take 238472983749823 more of those pictures) it also helps it maintain a very . . . . fancy look i think

the forest fairy concept for the cravity s2 album that i got is close enough to the royalty concept and thus it was SO for me... it rlly reminds me of lovelyz's a new trilogy photobook and that's been my favourite photobook (that i had) for a LONG long long time like.... i really love is SO much. and this vity one really compares to it i love it just as much!!! and thus i had to have it. well, that, and also i have had this album looped for like most of the year it came out in? like i listened to it an abnormal amount. like. a worrying amount. season 3 i pre-ordered and i'm not as satisfied with it visually (i don't rlly like it to be honest) but it has call my name and thus i had to have it also. i've been Obsessed with call my name since the prologue video for this album was released and That is why i pre-ordered it despite not liking any concept pictures it was just THAT important... call my name i love you

border: carnival!!! this one is very important to me on a personal level... both visually and musically. drunk-dazed is still so insane i still don't know what kind of drug they put in it but dear god. and i love mixed up a whole lot too... visually, the box is really pretty despite being simple like. it just fits anywhere really. makes a little statement... there's like. not MUCH to it but it's not ugly like most skz boxes these days, for example. and the photobook is so......important to me i love it so bad i don't get bored of it ever. i just love this concept so much... (surprisingly way more than the prince concept, which u might or might not have noticed... i have Not bought. i didn't like it as much. the One prince concept that i didn't rlly vibe with as much). the scylla ver. of dimension: dilemma is much more my style!! and thus. i really love that one a lot as well <3 odysseus ver. i don't like as much unfortunately but that was a gamble on my part in the first place (i mostly just trusted the blurred gradients on the album preview pictures for this one bc it looked pretty. and well. sunset colours wise it still does. the concept itself just doesn't do it for me). one thing about enhypen is that when they decide to have beautiful photbooks, they WILL have BEAUTIFUL photobooks. the half ver of dark blood i so absolutely beautiful . the other thing you need to know about me is that i go insane about water shots (in water photoshoots and like .... pool scenes in mvs like. txt run away or &team under the skin). this one was just so for me it's insane. also the outer cover for this one is a really beautiful colour it's like... navy... it's so pretty . additional fact is that the group photocards from enhypen albums are some of my fave photocards they're so cute

one thing about hybe is they will release albums that i will want to own. as you could see on my list one day i just went on a full txt spree like i went absolutely insane at the store like idk what possessed me but... i mean i don't regret it. i love these albums to my core. for tdc: magic, it's about the photobook - first of all the photobook is in the format of like. a spiral notebook abt i find that SO cute (and also practical in a way)(although i would hate if that was the default for photobooks, just to be clear). but like . it's just. idk how to describe it... it's Magical?? the darkness the glitter it's so...beautiful.... i love it so much.... the eternity ones are like. little diaries and that's ABSOLUTELY adorable??? i mostly like the version with the.... magical lullaby concept as i like to call it (there's beds there's stars there's . purple and there's . vibes), but since the diary idea is so cute i kinda just caved in and got both... and then comes freeze which i think i preordered? all three versions because all the concept pictures were just so good. and i don't regret this choice at all even today i don't know which version i would choose if i could buy only one. these photobooks are absolutely. beautiful...

my tbz reveal album is one of my fave albums actually!!! i love it a lot musically, but i love it just as much aesthetically... it kinda looks... like a fancy book?? which is just so cool and it's really nice to the touch also (under the initial outer box)... and another one of the VERY rare photobooks that my mom likes. i was honestly surprised at how much she actually liked this one sdkjjksdbk she got out her phone n all... but that's valid it's a really nice photobook. the chase one i like way less, but it's quite different? quite creative i would say!! and i really liked the concept for this version (no regrets once again) !! the chanhee postcard i got from it has always been on display on my shelf he's watching over me (<- insane woman speaking)

my itzy album!!!! bought it a while after it released so i already knew i LOVED the album musically i think i like every single song on it to a degree?? and it turned out to be SO pretty as well... i had an amazing time looking through it after i got home (i stopped by the store minutes before it closed after hanging out with uni friends in the area bc i happened to check my email and see that i could pick my order up kjndkjbdwnjws) not only the photos/concept themselves but just. the entire design of this photobook is so nice it's almost shocking it's coming from jype i was sitting like wtf jype u CAN make pretty albums??? insane. i also love the photocards i got from it!!

wei's identity: action album is another important one... those are my fancy little guys!!! the inclusions were really cute and i really like ... well wei in general, but also bye bye bye is SO good and i like the rest of this album a fair amount, and. most importantly. fancy concept. for me. great. so for me. SO for me.... <3 meanwhile the kingdom albums were a bit more of a caprice because i was getting into kingdom at the time. they're a little... clumsy, i'd say, in the way they're...designed?? but they remain really nice mainly because that's just. a big royalty concept . for me . FOR ME ... once again, not a purchase that i regret!!

it's surprising that fml is the first svt album that i bought since i moved, but what's even more surprising is . the reason i bought it. it's quite embarrassing actually . i was seeing the previews for the deluxe ver. and i noticed that there was . a set of photocards IN the super mv (2nd half) outfits which meant. jeonghan with that hairpin . and once i processed that information my hands acted on their own . um,

<my jini album3 i love jini's album so so so so much... she was my favourite in nmixx back when she was still a member n honestly the only one i rlly knew like. i knew a few of the other members' names but cldn't always recognize their faces n stuff . but my jini ... that's my performer daughter.... she's such a talented performer it's insane. and i was quite worried about her solo debut because... that's easy to screw up ESPECIALLY when expectations are high and. mine couldn't be anything but high because i do think she's insanely talented, and because the title of this album invokes such a strong imagery... and in the biggest plot twist of the year she even exceeded my expectations and released an album that was so for me. i love all the songs SO much i don't think words are enough to express how much i love this album... and when i looked at the concept pictures (a bit after the album was released, actually), i decided i really wanted to buy it... honestly i wanted both versions but i couldn't justify buying both, financially, at the time so.... i'm still waiting for an occasion to buy the pink version <//3 but i am very happy with the version i have as well!!! very proud to have it. and if you haven't checked my jini out yet, you should!!!!!

and finally. i actually didn't think i would buy the zb1 album - i don't really like it musically. i can't remember the exact reason i decided to buy it after all, maybe it was because i DID like the shade ver concept pictures quite a lot? but either way i'm SO glad to have bought it because.... i think it's currently my favourite physical album that i own... it's absolutely gorgeous. in every single way. in its entirety. it's just. beautiful. i encourage you to watch an unboxing video of it or smth because it's . genuinely so beautiful.

my sadame album was actually one that my aunt bought for me because i saw it in a bookstore we went to together and thought rlly hard about whether i wanted it or not.... i was mostly looking forward to the photocard but i got The One Photocard i absolutly did not want . but oh well. meanwhile!! my moonrise album was actually a gift i got from my best friend back in brussels!! which was really cute of her it was SO cute :< we also bought our al1 albums together <3 kissie for aly!! and as for the five albums i got from my bestie... she's been holding them for me for YEARS kkjsdjkndcb but i finally flew over to the states to see her this summer and she somehow managed to cram them into my luggage as i was leaving... and im so vewy grateful for these because i lob them all... i didn't even know that she had a hotshot album to give me but it's an album that i really love (musically) and turns out it's SO pretty also??? it looks quite book-ish, similar to tbz reveal (amd theyre both red also...) which i really love!

another photobook that i REALLY love is the one from my taeyeon's my voice album!! it's beautiful i love flowery concepts... (also really love that album musically a whole lot). was my favourite for a long time visually alongside the lovelyz's one that i mentioned earlier!

musically, got7's turbulence was my favourite album for quite a while, actually... i don't think i can say it and mean it nowadays anymore, but back when it was a relatively new album it was one that i really loved listening to.

other stories include. me constantly forgetting that i own a shinee album. the fact that i managed to own the pristin album (bought it at a convention) but they didn't have the version i wanted (elastin) anymore and i still really want that version... hopefully i can get it one day. not that i dislike this one i'm just glad i have something to remind me they were real..... the fact that i own a jay park album because at one point in my life i was going to kpop dance classes and everyone really liked his music and i started rlly vibing with it for a while to the point of buying. this album. and me hunting for gfriend's snowflake for a long while before i finally managed to buy it (kpop stores in brussels are very. different from the ones in paris. it was not an easy feat)

Little Mushroom Audio Drama Trailer [ENG SUB]

Synposis from 猫耳FM:

Do not go gentle into that good night, do not peacefully surrender to extermination.

Earth's magnetic field disappeared, mutated organisms invaded, the end of the world is near. A little mushroom from the Abyss makes its way into a human base on the search for the spore it has lost, and runs into The Arbiter Lu Feng. One human, one not, they meet at the end of the world and get to know each other, and together they walk into a future in which the only thing certain is uncertainty…

Ask anyone who has listened to Little Mushroom's audio drama and it is almost certain that they will tell you that it was one of the best produced audio dramas they have ever had the pleasure to experience.

You can find the whole thing - with English subs even - on 猫耳FM/missevan, so if this piece of media has ever been on your radar (and even if it hasn't!), let this be the sign that you should join this pit.

I haven't seen any translation of the trailer, so I took a stab at it. Excuse the violation of the maximum recommended CPS count, but there wasn’t much I could do about it... you might need to pause the video at times :P

Because I am both lazy and hate articulating my thoughts, this will not so much be me providing much actual insight on translation choices than just some disjointed notes on the back-translation process of Dylan Thomas' poem "Do not go gentle into that good night".

An overly literal back-translation of the Chinese poem:

不要温和地走入那个良夜。// Do not go gentle into that good night,

我们应在日暮之时燃烧。// We should burn in the hour the sun sets,

怒斥、怒斥光阴的消逝。// Rage, rage at the vanishing of time and light.

尽管智者深知黑暗终将到来。// Even if the wise are fully aware that darkness will inevitably come.

尽管他们的话语无法再迸发出闪电。// Even if their words are unable to make lightning burst forth again.

不要温和地走入那个良夜。// Do not go gentle into that good night.

在这悲哀的山巅。// Here, on the sorrowful mountaintop.

请用你的眼泪诅咒我、祝福我。// Please curse me, bless me with your tears.

Notes on the Chinese translation of the poem:

The refrains (“Do not go gentle into that good night” and “Rage, rage against the dying of the light”) basically map one to one to the English original, which makes it easily recognizable as Dylan Thomas’ poem

This makes the other changes feel very much like deliberate choices on the author's part, even if they do leave me puzzled

No references to the gendered figures (wise men, my father)

In the second verse, 尽管 is repeated for emphasis where it wasn’t in English

Why is the line 在这悲哀的山巅 so much shorter than all others? The original English poem has 10 syllables per line, but the Chinese one is…just whatever. No discernible structure here, only vibes

山巅 (mountaintop) where in the English it’s an unspecified “height” and can be read metaphorically, while here it is very much a physical location. (I mean, of course it could be read metaphorically as well in Chinese but there are many other words you could have chosen that do not have "mountain" in them.) Might or might not have been a deliberate choice referencing [spoiler] Base

I thought it prudent to back-translate the poem since there are some changes and they aren’t that minor.

Back-Translation process:

Pretended the original didn’t exist and translated it off the Chinese alone

Compared it to the original and modified it so that it still stayed 95% faithful to the Chinese while calling back to the original

Tried to keep the ABA rhyme scheme and felt powerful af when I managed to make the 2nd line in all the tercets rhyme

Squished or stretched the lines into 10 syllables, while still keeping as close to both Chinese and English as possible

Despair. Because at this point I should maybe just have used the original poem or gone for a freer translation, what am I even trying so hard for when this comes nowhere close at all to the original

What I ended up using in the subs of the AD Trailer, ABA ryhme scheme, 10 syllables per line if you squint*

The Bangtan Gal Chapter 89- Blood, Sweat & Tears

Chapter Summary: Jennie and Jimin fight over his extreme diet. BTS film BST with Jennie and Taehyung filming a sexy scene together. Jennie spends time with GOT7.

This chapter gave me a bit of anxiety. I'm so sorry for the angst. At the time of editing this, I felt like I should have just deleted this argument between Jimin and Jennie but I decided to keep it and have my character mess up. Show more character development of her learning from her mistakes. Angst for this but it will end fluffy. This topic is such a serious matter so I felt a bit wary now that I'm older and looking back at what I wrote years ago. Again, I'm sorry if I made anyone uncomfortable with this. :( This one for the angst is regarding Jimin's diet for the BST era. After that, I did not write any more about the diet. This will be it.

The following day, at Big Hit’s building, the members got ready for their dance practice in the studio. Jennie went to the bathroom and once she was done she found Jimin finishing up getting a drink from the water fountain. 

Once he turned around, he grinned. “Ready to go back?”

“Uh huh!” she smiled back.

She stared at his face longer than usual and couldn’t help but feel something off about him. His face looked even smaller which began to worry her.

“Yo, your face,” she placed a palm against his cheek to examine how small it had gotten.

His cheeks were gone and his jawline had gotten sharper. Something was not right.

“Did you eat at all today?” she exclaimed with concern. “Or even yesterday?”

Jimin’s stomach dropped at her questioning. He then pulled away from her and started to walk away. He could not face her. He could not bring himself to look at the hurt in her eyes. The concern in her eyes. He wished she would stop chasing after him like this to get a solid answer. All he wanted to do was be left alone to diet in peace. Jin already gave him an earful, asking him why is he going to this extent to lose weight but Jimin felt like this was the best thing to do. To look perfect for their next comeback.

“Jimin, you’re stressing me out!” her words took him away from his thoughts as she walked after him around Big Hit’s building. “What is the issue?”

“Can you please stop talking about this? I said I’m all right,” he snapped.

She chose to ignore the irritation in his voice and persisted in questioning him. Grabbing his hand to stop him, he turned around, displeased.

“Your face is so much smaller than usual! Are you not eating?!” she exclaimed.

Pulling her to him as she bumped into his chest, Jimin looked down at her. He was bothered by her interrogation.

“Can you stop being so loud?” he hissed in a hushed voice, glaring at her.

“Stop being so loud? This is the perfect volume to get what I’m saying through your head! Let’s be late to practice and go out to eat real quick. Okay? I’ll take the blame. I don’t mind being lectured for being late for both of us. It’s okay. Just come with me to eat, please! Noodles. Let’s get noodles! And pork, too! Lots of it! Or even chicken! My treat! I’ll pay!” she insisted, despairingly trying to get him to eat with her.

Jimin was conflicted. She was willing to get in trouble just so he could eat instead of dancing with an empty stomach. She did not mind going to practice late as long as he would get a meal in him. 

He wanted to. He wanted to say yes. But he couldn’t. He felt like he needed to diet.

“I’m not hungry,” he responded with a frown and released her.

“Yes, you are! I’ve seen the way you’d clutch your stomach and heard your stomach growl a lot this morning! What you’re doing is making yourself sick! You cannot do this to your body! Your body is going to break down! You gotta listen to it! You gotta feed it! Not let it go so long without food! We’re performers. We need all the energy we can get. And then our comeback is so soon, come on, Jimin!”

Running his hands through his silver hair, he shouted sternly with a growl, “Enough, Jennie! Enough! Just shut up already! Stop bothering me about it and leave me the hell alone!”

The harsh sound of his voice made her flinch as her stomach dropped from his anger. It began to scare her. He never yelled at her like this. He never actually yelled at her at all. And soon she felt tears of frustration and anger beginning to form in her eyes. The 95 Liner clenched his jaw as his anger amplified. He felt angrier at himself for shouting as it started to get the attention of staff members. And soon after Namjoon was walking over to them, worried after hearing them from the practice room.

‘Ennie...I’m so sorry...’ he thought sadly.

Jimin didn’t mean to shout. He didn’t mean to get this riled up, especially towards his precious Ennie of all people. But he wanted her to back off and let him be. Why couldn’t she just let him do this in peace?

As his words registered in her brain, she started to feel vexation overcome her, “Don’t you ever tell me to shut up! I’m trying to help you!”

“Hey!” Namjoon butted in, getting in between them.

“I didn’t ask for it! Learn to stay out of everyone’s business!” Jimin shouted.

“What you’re doing is not necessary and it’s absurd!” she shouted back.

“You wouldn’t understand-“

“Understand what!?” her voice went higher. “Why are you doing this? Huh!? Is it because of what others think?! You don’t need to lose any weight whatsoever, so end this crap, right now!”

Jimin felt his body shake as he listened to her voice her opinion on the matter. 

Grabbing him by his shoulders, she shouted as tears began to slowly go down her cheeks, “You are more than just abs! You are fine just the way you are, why can’t you see that!? People aren’t your real fans if they only see you for your body, Chim Chim! Please don’t do this to yourself, I don’t want to see you like this. It’s breaking my heart, Jimin, just stop it!”

Shrugging her off of him, Jimin found himself walking away before he ended up yelling more harshly. It was like talking to a wall. She just would not stop talking about it.

“Sometimes I wish you would just shut up and stop getting involved! Just let things happen, no one needs to hear your piece or what you think someone should do. If I want to do this, then let me do this. You are so annoying!” he angrily replied.

“Stop! We’re not doing this! Come on. Let’s get into the practice room. We do not need to be fighting, right now. This is not the time or place,” Namjoon warned them.

Jimin angrily stormed into the practice room and slammed the door shut. Jen let out a frustrated sigh. This was not supposed to be like this. Why did it have to be this way?

“Jennie...” Namjoon frowned and walked over to her to try to calm her down.

More tears flowed down her face as she paced around. Blowing air out of her mouth, she looked up, trying to calm herself down. She wiped her tears and took a moment to regroup before turning her attention to her leader.

“So, you’re just going to let him continue doing this? Let him go? Do you not see what’s going on? How serious this is!? How wrong this is!?”

“I do,” he responded calmly. “We tried to invite him to eat but he just wouldn’t eat with us and wanted to continue to diet...”

"I just want this to end," she shook her head and walked past him to go back to the dance studio.

As soon as Jimin stormed into the practice room, the rest of the members immediately wanted to know what happened. Everybody heard their shouting match and from the look of Jimin’s scowl, things were not getting resolved, anytime soon.

No matter how many times the boys asked him what was wrong and what happened between him and Jennie, Jimin remained silent and shook his head. After a while, Jennie strolled in with Namjoon. Her scowl matched Jimin’s and she too remained silent when she was asked about what happened.

“Is everything all right?” Mr. Son asked, noticing a dramatic shift in the atmosphere of the room.

Neither Jen nor Jimin answered, feeling quite defeated and bummed from their huge blowout. Namjoon had to answer for them by saying that things would be fine. Dance practice was awkward and it seemed like the group couldn’t get synchronized because Jimin and Jennie were thinking about their fight. Namjoon also couldn’t quite stay focused as he thought about their mentalities. And the curiosity of the rest of the group led to everything noticeably off about their movements.

Seeing problems in their dancing, Mr. Son told them to stop and questioned everybody. “What is going on? We film the music video in a week and the choreography is looking sloppy. Whatever happened between you two,” he glanced at Jimin and Jennie, “You must put that behind you and stay focused on this comeback,”

Easier said than done.

After practice, Jennie chose not to go straight back to the dorm and decided to drown herself in work. She began writing things she was feeling. Writing out her feelings made her feel somewhat better, but just being away from Jimin for as long as she could also helped. Everything about that argument bothered her. She wanted to stop thinking about it but it was nothing that she could do to get it out of her head.

Same with Jimin as he continued to tell the members to leave the situation alone and let him cope in peace at the dorm.

The following day, Jimin and Jennie completely ignored each other. No acknowledgment whatsoever. Not even a good morning. Jungkook and Taehyung noticed the tension and were saddened that half of the Maknae Line weren’t on good terms. The two tried to get them to at least speak to each other but to no avail. This lasted for a few days.

Having enough of the tension, Namjoon went to her studio to speak with Jen privately.

“I want to talk to you about what happened between you and Jimin,” he said, taking a seat on her couch.

Jennie rolled her eyes at his name. She didn’t want to think about him. The sight of him and the sound of his voice and name made her cringe as she thought back to their intense confrontation. She didn’t want to think about it and wished Namjoon would drop it. The situation made her uncomfortable and she wanted to avoid it.

Running a hand through his hair, Namjoon let out a sigh. “I get what you tried to do but I don’t think the way you went about it was the best action,” he softly criticized.

Before she could protest, he shook his head and she closed her mouth.

“Jennie, you were in the wrong this time. You can’t just blow up like that when someone is dealing with issues as serious as this. That wasn’t right and you should consider Jimin’s feelings and his mentality. I think it hurt him more the way you raised your voice at him. He’s struggling and we’re all trying to help but we cannot force him to eat. I think if you two spoke privately instead of where all the staff was, things would have gone better. It’s not that easy to try to get him to eat just because you want to see him eat. I understand your intentions but again, you can’t make him eat, Jennie. You can’t force him to do what you think he should do. He has to make that choice,”

Jennie looked down at her lap and frowned as she thought about his words. Her mind went back to her dispute with Jimin and she cringed at how she acted.

Wow...

She did not see that point of view and now she felt like shit. She felt like a shitty friend and she felt selfish.

Yes, he was right. She should have gone a different route instead of blowing up like that. How she acted was judgmental and she seemed to have been more critical of Jimin instead of showing compassion. It just hurt to see him like that and she wanted to try to do something. But it seemed like she most likely made the situation worse along with her poor choice of words.

Jimin was right. She should just stop butting into people’s business all the time. It seems like everything she does just gets worse. She wanted to help but what she had done was not the best route to go. She needed to apologize to him.

“You two need some space,” Namjoon advised. “But once you two cooled down a bit, it’s best you apologize. I don’t want to see you two fight,”

After a deep conversation with Namjoon, Jennie spent the rest of the day catching up with GOT7, who they were thrilled to see. Spending time with them, made her briefly forget about the struggles with Jimin and boosted her mood with their goofiness and positivity.

The group decided to go paintballing, which she thought was one of the best ways to let off some steam. They chose to split into teams of two.

“I choose Jennie!” Jackson announced.

“Too late, I called dibs already,” JB replied.

“Since when!?”

“Since this morning,”

“She likes me the best, so that makes me her partner,” Bam Bam announced.

Jen laughed at their banter as the group began bickering.

“Actually, she’s my partner. I asked her the day before,” Mark grinned victoriously.

“Yep. He did. Mark is my partner,” she admitted with a sheepish grin.

“What!? That is not fair!” Jackson complained.

“If I had known I would have asked her as soon as she yes to paintballing!” Jinyoung exclaimed.

The teams consisted of Youngjae & JB, Jackson & Jinyoung, and BamBam & Yugyeom.

As they prepared to get ready, Yugyeom and Jennie chatted.

“Ah, I wish Jungkook joined us. He would’ve loved this,” he said, thinking about his best friend.

“I know~. Today, he’s busy working on some choreography. I believe it’s for Begin. But don’t worry we’ll have plenty of more opportunities to hang out. Comeback season is always so busy. I’m happy I was able to get away from work for a little while to see you guys.”

“Yeah, me too. I can’t wait. I miss him. You two are doing well, right?”

“Yeah huh. Still going strong,”

“Good. He talks about you so much when he’s with me and the guys. Don’t tell him, I said that,” he teased, making her face heat up.

She giggled. “Even when he’s not here, he always makes me feel special,”

“He better be treating you, well. If not, I’ll fight him,” Bam Bam added in a teasing manner, making them laugh.

“Haha, thanks. Hey guys, how’s your upcoming comeback coming along?” she asked. “I’m anticipating Hard Carry,”

“Oh, you are going to love it! I hope we get some wins for it,” JB responded.

“Ooh, my excitement for it is building~,”

“How are the preparations for your comeback?” Youngjae asked her. “I still cannot believe you dyed your hair red. It’s a great color for you. You look beautiful,”

“Aw, you think so?” Jen beamed and touched her red hair. “Thank you. I was so nervous about getting it dyed. But I’m happy with the results,”

“Oh, heck yeah! I was like is that Jennie!? Wow~! So pretty!” Bam Bam added.

“Red suits you well, Jen,” Yugyeom stated.

“You guys are so sweet. As for our comeback, it’s going well. But uh, Jimin and I had a little falling out. So, I’m a little off my game and happy I’m here to get rid of some of that tension,”

“A falling out?” Jinyoung asked, surprised.

“What?! You and Jimin? I thought I would never see this. You two are always so close,” Jackson said in disbelief.

His words made Jen feel even shitter as she felt even more bad about what she had done.

“What happened?” Mark asked.

She then explained the whole situation to them. Every detail and how she had a talk with Namjoon and that she realized how wrong she was.

“Although it’s none of my business with what he does with his body, I couldn’t help but want to talk him out of whatever he’s doing because his face looked so skinny. Skinnier than usual. But all I did was make it worse. I’m hoping maybe after today I could get him alone and apologize,” she said with a sigh.

“Ah, I see. I still think you are a good person. We all make mistakes and sometimes go a little too far with our words and how we say them. Jimin cares a lot about you. I’m sure this falling out will not be the end of your friendship. It’ll take some time but you and Jimin will rekindle soon enough,” JB encouraged her.

The gang played five rounds of paintballing. The games were filled with chaos and laughter as Jennie and Mark kept getting hit since the other teams wanted them out quickly. Although Jen and Mark didn’t win, it was just nice to get away from the stress of comeback preparations and unwind with everyone.

After paintballing, Bam Bam insisted on taking photos as he stood close by Jennie and lifted his phone in the air for a group selfie with him, Mark, and YoungJae.

‘She’s here with us!! I’m happy to see you, Jennie! #GOT8 #JenBam’ he posted to a widely positive reception that she was still in touch with GOT7.

Later in the evening, Jen checked her Instagram to see more new photos that GOT7 posted with her.

To the selfie of her and Bam Bam alone, Jackson commented, 'I see u forgot to include me!’

Laughing, she typed out, 'Bro, you knew we were taking photos lolll :P’

After some more commenting, she went to find Jimin in Big Hit’s building. Hearing music from the practice room, she made her way over to it and watched him dance to Lie. It appeared that he had to be practicing for hours. Exhaustion was clear on his face but he showed no sign of stopping.

When Jimin saw the door open, he did not look too pleased to see who had walked in.

“What do you want?” he asked in a flat tone.

“I’m probably the last person you want to see, right now. But I just wanted to apologize for yelling at you. I shouldn’t have done that. I shouldn’t have tried to pressure you to eat. That was wrong of me. I’m sorry,” she said with a frown.

Jimin looked down and remained silent, taking her words in.

“I hurt you a lot,” she went on softly, voice sounding brittle. “Perhaps it was the way I yelled at you. Or how I sounded judgmental instead of showing you compassion and support. I shouldn’t have yelled or tried to pressure you to do anything. And you probably don’t want to speak to me or whatever so okay. I’ll give you space and stay out of your way. I just wanted to apologize. And whenever you are ready to talk, I’ll be here,”

She took his silence as where he stood in the situation. As expected, she knew he wasn’t going to easily forgive her. He needed time and space.

“O-okay, I’ll be going, now. See you,” she made her way to the door.

Part of her hoped that he’d stop her and say that he forgave her but it didn’t work that way in this serious situation. He let her go. And it’ll take him some time to forgive her.

As the week went by, it was finally the day BTS filmed Blood, Sweat & Tears. Each member of BTS was dressed and ready for filming as they were excited about the upcoming comeback.

“Eeeek! Today is the day~! I am so stoked! We are here for the first day of shooting Blood, Sweat & Tears! Look at me! I look so bomb!” she turned around, showing off her outfit.

“Ah, watch the shirt. It’s not buttoned all the way,” Jin popped in the shot and fixed her shirt for her. “There, much better. Jin to the rescue!”

She laughed. “Thank you,”

“Wings, the album for us,” Rapmon declared when the camera was filming him.

“It’s very elegant and luxurious,” J-Hope addressed as he showed off the background. “Look at the set,”

For the first day, the group did their first shots of dancing. Even just performing it once, made the members hot and out of breath. The staff provided fans and blowdryers blowing cool air to cool them down, which helped tremendously.

“This concept is more sexy than usual. So, I am going to try to be sexy for this music video. Keyword, try,” Jen added.

'That won’t be hard, Jennie!’

After the first takes of dancing, the camera showed shots of the members watching the film, to monitor anything they needed to work on.

Hobi and Jennie glanced at each other after they watched how she messed up.

"You saw too, right?" Hobi asked as she nodded.

“Yeah. I did that, too early,” she replied as she watched herself jump a few seconds before the rest of the group.

Once they filmed again, a sudden sound of shattered glass was heard and the director stopped the filming.

“The glass is broken!” was announced and it was none other than Rap Monster who was the reason behind it.

'God of destruction, Rap Monster’

“Jeez...” Jen exclaimed, looking at the broken glass.

“Rap Monster!” J-Hope told the camera.

When the camera was pointed at Rapmon who laughed about the ordeal, he exclaimed, “Bam!” as he thought about how he broke the glass. “I don’t know why always...I don’t know why I break things,”

'We want to know the reason, too’

After the shooting resumed, the next scene was set in a room where the members sat on the couch. For this scene, Jennie was not in the same room as them. Instead, for the beginning of the music video, she had an individual shot.

“Action!”

She ran lightly down the hallway until she found a door. On the other side of the door was another camera waiting. She pulled the doors open and looked surprised to see the seven boys sitting.

“Cut! Good job!”

“Ayeeee. First try!” she bounced around in excitement.

Although Jimin still wasn’t speaking to her, he couldn’t help but smile softly at her excitement. She was doing a good job of filming.

“Jennie makes the best facial expressions when she is filming. Good acting,” Jin grinned as he got his makeup retouched.

After her shot was done, she stood in the background as the boys sat on the couch and floor. Suga stood behind Jimin and covered his eyes.

“We are moving to the table. We have to change our hairstyle. Let’s go!” Jimin said.

The group changed into white clothes. Jennie wore white pants and a white blazer with her red hair styled in a high ponytail. The scene was set up like a dinner. Decorations of white, including the tablecloths and chairs.

“Are you ready to enjoy the dinner?” J-Hope asked Suga.

‘The eight noble members’

“Rap Monster, I can see your belly button. This concept matches you so well,” Suga said, making him chuckle.

Jennie sat across from Jin on the other side of the table. Jungkook, Rap Monster, and V sat on one side while J-Hope, Suga, and Jimin sat on the other side. J-Hope and Jungkook sat the closest to Jennie while V and Jimin sat the closest to Jin. Jin sat up from the table and lifted his cup in the air, while the rest of the boys followed his movements with blank stares. All they had to do was raise up their drinks but for the first shot, V couldn’t contain himself and laughed, which made the rest of the group laugh, too.

‘One more try due to V’s laughter’

On the second time, the members cheered successfully. With Jennie, instead of a blank expression, she looked hesitant as she raised her glass and then stared at it. Locking eyes with Jin, she shook her head and he began to stop himself from drinking the drink.

Little did they know V watched everything. He looked intrigued by her as he raised an eyebrow and smirked.

Suddenly, she slowly turned her glass to the side and watched it spill on the table, refusing to drink it. With the camera focusing on V, while the rest were occupied with their drinks, he watched Jennie with a sly smirk on his face. Sensing that something wasn’t right, she narrowed her eyes at him.

‘Finished the shooting without laughing this time’

With the rest leaving, only Jin, V, and Jennie were left. The director wanted Taennie to improvise the scene of having a staredown at the table. As the two were filmed with tension advancing between them, Jin was stuck in the middle, looking on while he was also back in his seat. 

Jennie loved filming with Taehyung. It was just something about how at ease she felt when she was with him. He always found ways to enhance their scenes and he pushed her to be a better actress for Bangtan’s music videos. 

As they stared at one another, she did not look too pleased to see how confident V looked regarding Jin. After they got their shots, V was good to leave while Jen and Jin were left.

"V and Jen have good chemistry. I felt like I was interrupting something when I was watching them. I wanted to say, should I leave?” Jin laughed.

When the song came on, Jennie lip-synced her verse as she sat in a chair, leaning back. She had her feet on the table and then did more shots looking sexy for the camera. 

Being very close to EXO's Sehun since meeting the group, the two recently chatted about their comebacks. Sehun informed her he filmed shots of his feet on the table for Monster, so she wanted to do some sort of cool parallel with him and reenact his movements, hoping it would make it in the music video.

Once they got what they needed, Jennie and Jin were the last to leave as they bowed and thanked the staff.

“Day one complete! Time to go to sleep~!” she beamed.

‘Day 2’

Day two consisted of more individual shots for the group. Jen looked amazed at the set as the first set consisted of Suga and Jimin in the top room while Jungkook and Rapmon were in the bottom room. V even had to jump off a balcony as each member had different concepts. Jimin and Suga were the first ones to leave early as she waited for when it was her time to shoot.

After getting her hair and makeup done, she went to watch Jungkook film his shots on a swing that was hanging from the ceiling.

“I wish I was on the swing. That looks so fun,” she commented.

Jungkook had to do a tough wire scene, getting lifted in the air. His hair was covered in feathers which made her giggle. Once he was safely set down, he sat up, scrunching his face because of the feathers covering his face.

“Have a nice time up there?” she teased and removed the feathers from his head.

“It was alright. My back hurts but the scene was alright. I hated the feathers, though. Jennie, can you give me a massage when you get home from filming?”

When she responded, “Yeah, absolutely,” his eyes lit up.

Jennie's scene consisted of her in a garden and wearing a flower crown and tiara for the occasion.

“I’m in a garden~! Look at all these flowers,” she spun around. “Simple take. Explore around the garden, and look like the baddest chick in the game. I can do that,”

The camera followed her exploring the garden and looking beautiful in the environment. Jin was called in to join her and she filmed a few takes of being a good influence on him by taking walks together. She also placed a hand on his cheek and looked at him in concern, making sure he was all right with V lurking around them. After the rest of the members went home, Jennie and V were left with their scene together.

“For this, I’m the good girl. Or so I think. Let’s say I’m more of an angel while V is more like the bad guy. A fallen angel or a devil. I’m trying to be like the good side of Jin while he’s the bad side of Jin. Soooo, this is not going to end well. But I will prevail! I will win this battle and get Jin to the good side. So, in your face V! You are not winning today!” she punched the camera lightly.

When the camera transitioned to V, he chuckled, getting into character. “Ennie, Ennie, Ennie...she’s going to lose this battle. I’ll give her an A for effort but the dark side will win,”

“Lies!” Jen’s voice was heard across the room, making him laugh along with her.

“Action!” the director announced.

Jennie proceeded to walk down the hallway with V lurking from a distance. Feeling someone following her, she turned around but didn’t see anyone. But once she turned back around, V was in front of her, catching her by surprise. After they filmed the scene a few times, the director wanted their next scene to be sexy. The whole comeback had sensual vibes to it, especially with the choreography.

Lately, as Big Hit had been planning the comeback, they predicted that fans were going to give Taennie a lot of attention due to the fact of their scenes together for the music video. So, the company was highly considering making the pair act on that for promotions. Taehyung and Jennie didn’t mind it. They thought it was funny to troll fans into thinking they were dating or something for the comeback. Although there was a slight fear in the back of her mind of a hate train for her, in the end, she went with it and felt comfortable with her best friend.

Taehyung had been nothing but sweet to her about the idea. He even asked her about boundaries and what she was comfortable with so they could make this as believable as possible without making each other feel awkward. They thought that subtly was the way to go, with lingering gazes during music shows, and so on. They make a bold statement for the music video but then keep fans speculating with subtle displays of affection when on camera. 

When they told Jungkook about it, he kept wishing it was him in the situation but for the music video and comeback in general, the director felt best for it to be Taehyung instead due to the role he was playing. He understood it and knew it was just acting between them.

Getting in position for their next scene, Jennie gave him a warning, “I ate smarties before this so my breath smells like smarties. I hope you like the smell of smarties when you lean in close,”

Taehyung giggled. “It’s okay!”

He began to get himself into character, looking at the ground while Jennie continued to look up at him, ready to begin acting.

“And...ACTION!” the director announced.

As soon as he heard the director say action, it was like a switch went off of V as he looked up and appeared lustful towards her and a little crazed.

With her back connecting to the wall with a harsh thud, Jen did not flinch when V lunged and slammed his hands on the wall, trapping her while staring sharply into her eyes. The sound of his hands slamming on the wall made a loud sound as they maintained eye contact. The song played in the background while they proceeded to act out their scene.

‘Taehyung and Jennie filming part of their sexy scene together. Strong eye contact!’

She stared at him, unamused, making sure not to give in to anything he was trying to offer. She then turned her head away, facing the camera when he inched closer with a wicked grin on his face. She felt his warm breath against her cheek before he began to move down to her neck as she appeared to have an ongoing battle with giving him her attention. Lust was clear in his eyes as he tried his best to tempt her.

While still staring at the camera with a sexy gaze, she began to lip sync.

Breath on my neck, I bit off more than I can chew

V placed his forearm over her head and she looked up at him. She shook her head and was about to look away again but this time he grabbed her chin with his other hand and made her look at him.

Their faces were extremely close as their lips were centimeters away from each other. As they both glanced at each other's lips, it was like he was luring her to kiss him, wondering when she’d crack as he slowly felt her losing resistance. 

Reflecting on my choices, I’m wonderin’ if there’s any way out of this.

I’m losing this battle, I just can’t resist this

Only a matter of time before you screw me up and I’ll be stuck reminiscing

With that sinister smile on his lips, he stuck his tongue out and bit his bottom lip lightly. Pulling herself together and realizing how close she was to giving in, she shoved him back. Quickly, she walked away while he watched her go, satisfied.

“Great!” the director announced. 

As soon as they heard him say that, Jennie and Taehyung burst out in laughter, unable to hold it in anymore. After she walked back to him, they bantered to each other at how funny this was for them to do this. This was War of Hormone but on a whole different level of mature sexiness.

Although they weren’t sure how much of this footage would be in the MV, the staff wanted them to improvise. For another take, Jennie stood on his shoes to make herself higher and placed a hand on the back of his shoulder while looking over his shoulder at the camera in front of her. With her free hand, she ran a hand through his blond hair. Then for another shot, she stood in front of him with him behind, holding her close while she lip synced. 

When they went to see the footage with the director, they analyzed their movements and made sure everything was top notch. Taehyung laughed nervously when watching himself be so forceful with her.

“Ennie, I am so sorry,” he grinned nervously. “Did I hurt you?”

“No, no, I’m fine.” she smiled in reassurance and turned back to the video. 

Her face felt flushed when watching herself act sensuous. It was still so weird to see herself like that. But she was proud of her efforts.

"This is...intense," she looked on. "Is this going to be appropriate for the music video rating? Oh gosh. And maybe it was a good idea to wait until the members left to film. Because oh my gosh, their reaction to this? We’re never going to hear the end of it. Maybe this can be a Bangtan Bomb if all of this doesn’t make it in the music video,”

“Ennie looks radiant in this. Wow, so beautiful,” Taehyung praised.

“Oh stop~. Look at you! ARMY is going to blush when they see you in this music video. A born visual he is,”

“Thanks, Ennie. We make a great team,” he pulled her in for a kiss on her temple.

“This was perfect!” the director praised after watching all of their footage. Their chemistry was impeccable, to say the least. “We don’t need to take another shot of this scene. We’re finished,”

“YAY~! We did it!” Taehyung cheered and joined Jennie in jumping around while holding hands in excitement.

‘Day 3’

The final day of filming started with Jin who was supposed to kiss the statue and Jen was in the background.

“Action!”

The camera followed Jennie quickly as she was dashing down the hallway. But she was suddenly grabbed from behind by V as she yelled, “Don’t! Snap out of it!“

That seemed to have made Jin pause as he looked back to see the two. But in the end, she helplessly watched Jin fall into temptation. 

After the scene, all the members are together, acting like good friends. The scene was supposed to show them being free and mischievous. Jen strolled a little behind the boys, smiling at them while looking around. Her attention caught Jin staring at the painting called The Fall Of The Rebel Angels. There were two entrances on each side of him as he stood in the middle. A black entrance and a white entrance. One good and one bad. To resist or sin.

Jennie went up to him, standing in front of the white entrance. Gently grabbing onto one of his hands, he turned and looked down at her while she smiled, gesturing for him to follow her to the white entrance. But then V came over and stood on Jin’s other side, in front of the black entrance, which made Jin turn his attention to him. V smirked at the both of them while Jennie slowly dropped her smile, fearing for the worst.

After the members ran through the door and Jin was left behind, Suga was supposed to cover Jin’s eyes and after a few takes it looked funny due to his height, so Jin suggested switching partners. V replaced him to cover Jin’s eyes instead and it worked perfectly. Then for their final filming session, they were filmed performing the choreography.

When the director said cut, Jen turned around to see Jimin looking exhausted as he leaned forward, putting his hands on his knees. Jin went over to him and placed a hand on his back, looking concerned.

'Gosh, I hope he’s all right,’ she thought as she chose to keep her word by leaving him alone.

After the group performed the dance one last time, the director announced they were done and BTS celebrated with cheers and ran around, proud of their hard work.

A few days later, Bangtan was filmed doing a dance practice for BST so it could be posted as a Bangtan Bomb. Jen found herself getting more and more frustrated and concerned for Jimin’s well being but chose to stay out of it to avoid another argument. She wanted to respect his space and wishes but it was eating her inside to see him look light headed every time he moved.

She wasn’t sure if it was people on social media who made fun of his weight or something but whatever it was, it made her upset to see her friend like this. 

She was distracted. Her conversation with Namjoon went through her head and she found herself glancing over at Jimin from time to time. He wasn’t himself. She noticed how he would stumble sometimes and hold his head. She feared something bad was about to happen.

With Jimin, he was feeling dizzy due to the lack of energy and food. His lightheadedness was getting stronger as the song progressed. After jumping around during the dance, Jimin felt himself falling back, and losing consciousness.

By instinct, Jennie ran up behind him to catch him. She fell hard on her butt, wincing at the impact. But all that mattered was that Jimin was OK in her arms. She could deal with some pain.

“Jimin!” she shouted with fear in her voice as the members rushed to him.

"What happened!? Is he all right?! Jimin!” loud commotion surrounded them as they tried to help him.

Everyone freaked out when he passed out and staff tended to him until he regained consciousness. Jen stood out of the way after the staff took over. Jimin kept reassuring everyone that he was fine and could keep going but dance practice was canceled for the rest of the day and he was told to rest.

At the dorm, Jimin went to rest like he was told and ate a little. Jen was happy to see him trying to put something in his stomach after passing out as well as continuing to drink water.

“That was scary, Jimin. You sure you’re all right?” Taehyung asked with concern as he sat on his bed with Jungkook. “I’m glad Jennie caught you before you hit your head on the floor. That would have been even scarier,”

The new information he was told sparked Jimin’s interest as he looked astonished that it was her. He did feel something soft before he lost consciousness.

“She caught me?”

“Yeah, it was like she zoomed right behind you before you connected to the floor,” Jungkook added. “Like she knew something was wrong. I know you have your reasons for doing this but please be careful with the diet. We’re all here for you, you know that,”

Jimin nodded. He was grateful for Jennie catching him. He seriously could have given himself a concussion since he fell so abruptly. He found himself wanting to see her. But then he remembered that she wanted to give him space and was going to wait until he was ready to forgive her. To tell the truth, he had forgiven her as soon as she apologized. But he chose to let her go and see how long she was going to give him space. She did a great job letting him be, and respecting his wishes. He asked himself how long he was going to continue to ignore her.

But in the end, he missed his friend.

He missed his Ennie.

He knew she was trying her best to be a better friend and not lash out like she did. To show more compassion in his struggles instead.

Later that evening, Jen went to peep into Jimin’s room to find him sleeping while Taehyung and Jungkook were still with him. The way she stuck her head in the room hesitantly was noticed by the two boys as they waved and smiled.

She sighed, worrying about Jimin’s well being as she walked in the room. In a hushed voice, not wanting to wake him, she asked, “How is he?”

“Doing good,” Taehyung responded while Jimin listened in, with his eyes still closed.

The sound of her voice made it hard to resist smiling but Jimin kept a neutral face. It was good to hear her ask about him although she still wanted to give him space.

“He ate quite a bit too,” Jungkook added.

“Great. As long as he’s ok. He scared the shit out of me, man...” she said, thinking about how he passed out.

“He gave us all quite a scare. I’m glad you were there to catch him, Jagi,”

“Yeah, you were so fast,” Tae pointed out.

“I dunno what came over me but something told me to keep an eye on him during practice. Well, I just wanted to know how he was doing. I’ll see you guys in the morning. Good night,” she turned to leave.

“You’re leaving already?” she heard Jimin say as he opened his eyes.

Turning back around, she answered in surprise, “Oh, I thought you were asleep. I just wanted to check on you and give you your space,”

“Can I have a moment alone with her?” he requested as he sat up.

“Sure. We’ll be gaming,” Jungkook answered and left the room with Taehyung.

Once they were left alone, Jimin spoke softly. “Thank you,”

“For what?” she looked at him in confusion.

“For catching me when I passed out. Thank you,”

“Always,” she nodded a few times.

“You can come closer, Ennie. I don’t bite,” he chuckled softly and gestured for her to come over to the bed.

The sound of her nickname made her stomach flip as a small smile came across her face. She did what she was told and sat on his bed.

“...how are you feeling?” she asked softly.

“I’m feeling better,” he responded truthfully. “I felt good after eating something,”

“I'm glad to hear you say that,”

Jen was surprised when he reached out to hold one of her hands.

“I’ve been thinking about our friendship since you apologized,”

“Me too,”

“What you did that day really hurt me,”

She nodded. “I know...and I’m truly sorry,”

“I know you are. I see that you are. Over the days, I’ve been missing you and our friendship. Things aren’t how they are anymore and it makes me feel weird. I want things to go back to how they used to be with us,”

“Me too. You’re important to me,”

“You’re important to me,” he squeezed her hand lightly. “And I want us to treasure each other, move forward, and understand each other’s boundaries. I want us to be there for each other and support each other. When things get tough, I want us to talk it out privately without yelling or screaming. I know all friendships aren’t perfect and we’ll argue once in a while but let’s try to work on not yelling at one another like we did,”

“Yeah. I’ll do better and be a better friend to you. Again, I’m so sorry, Jimin,” she said as tears began to fall from her eyes.

"I'm sorry, too," 

He leaned in to kiss her on the forehead and then pressed his forehead against hers, closing his eyes. He felt a huge weight lifted off his shoulders. Less stressed about everything as he expressed himself to her. His eyes had gotten glossy as he pulled away to look at her.

With a smile, he reached out to wipe her tears with his thumb and then pulled her in for a close hug. A hug that was long overdue as they both felt relieved to hug each other again.

“It’s okay...” he murmured and placed a hand on the back of her head. “I’ll be okay...and we’ll be okay...”

They stayed like that for a while, enjoying each other’s company. It felt good to be forgiven and to move forward. Jimin was right, things were going to be okay.

After pulling away, he asked, “Can you stay?”

“Yeah, of course, I can,”

He let her in under the covers with him and they cuddled, before slowly drifting to sleep.

A/N: I wrote this almost a year ago for a personal writing challenge. The prompt was "things we carry", hence the title. I had GOT7's Jay B in mind while writing it (altho it was before he even enlisted lol), but really it could apply to any of your favs that have enlisted in the army. Hope you enjoy!

May 22, 1944

My dearest,

At the time of writing, it has been many weeks since you left suddenly with most of the men of the town. I have prayed for your safety every day since your departure, yet still I have worried for you. It has truly brought me great joy and relief to have received your letter, and I could not delay sending you a reply as soon as I read it.

Your mother and I have been keeping each other company. She sits right by me as I write. We have discussed together your gentle soul not suiting combat. It is hard to imagine you carrying arms. A good book in your hands suits you much better. I send with this letter some of your favourite books from your library. I hope they help you pass the time and lift your spirits.

If that doesn't help, I hope that news of our good health reassures you. Your mother and I have gone downtown yesterday to visit the old Dr. K. Mother is stronger than ever, and I myself am holding up well. While we were out, we also had our pictures taken by the photographer down the street, and, as you requested, I send those with this letter too.

If this still does not bring you enough comfort, my dear, because I know you worry for us, perhaps the idea of your darling wife carrying your child helps you. Your mother wanted me to keep this secret until your return, but when Dr. K confirmed my pregnancy, I knew that I must share this blessed news with you. I hope for the fighting to end soon so that when our child is birthed into the world, we may meet them together.

I long for your embrace, my dear. I sit in wait on your reading chair. My heart burns for you every day.
