STORYLINE: When the leaves changed color, the sun dipped lower, and the harvest all gathered, it meant only one thing to Little Bunny, -- Princess Layla's annual A Taste of October party! Her fluffy cotton tail perked up as she hopped all the way to dark gothic castle that loomed over the otherwise sunny town. Yes, Princess Layla was mysterious. No one had ever seen her leave the castle, not even stroll the castle gardens, but Bunny paid no attention to that. She loved dressing up to go the formal party and eat all the delicious food! The Princess was a very gracious host. Bunny was almost drooling as she shyly knocked on the giant arched doors. ...Who knows, maybe this year, the Princess would notice her! The second round of Gothical has begun. I dearly love Elegant Gothic Lolita style. As an Alum from RMK Gothic events, I'm delighted to see this genre, which is dear to my heart, returning to SL. Come and see lots of beautiful items are there for you to Ooo and ahh over, and put a little elegance into darkly romance Halloween.

I am sorry but it might be a while before I get back into SL again... I have been playing Maplestory 2 lately. Though I have made a few UGC things for Maplestory 2, first a butler outfit and then a gothic lolita style outfit. I also tried making some faces as a mask too. Kind of makes me feel nostalgic and wish SL still used pre-mesh baked clothing. :( I forgot how much easier it is to just texture clothing as a skin than to mesh and rig it. If anyone else plays, I’m on the NA East server, and I managed to get the name Kouki (among others). :P

Baroqued Gothical is a Lolita Fashion Event where you can find related style clothing, accessories, makeup, appliers and furniture, open till the 30th of April 2022.

To be honest, I am a little disappointed. I was hoping to find a true Gothic Lolita paradise, instead I found only a couple of designers with items of this aesthetic. Anyway, it is worth a visit for sure because there are a few pieces that are just magnificents!
