Source: NFL to mull roughing rules after season
Source: NFL to mull roughing rules after season
The NFL’s competition committee plans to discuss roughing the passer penalties after the season amid outrage over two disputed calls in Week 5, a member of the committee who wishes to remain anonymous told ESPN’s Ed Werder. The Associated Press, which reported earlier Tuesday that the topic also will be discussed next week when NFL owners meet in New York but that the league was not planning…

REPOST @jadeastral Such an honor as always to join my Horrorsisters. This month we will be sharing some our favorite Gay characters in horror.  The couple from Candyman is my selection for #horrorsisterspride Troy Cartwright (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett)  the  brother of Brianna and his partner Grady (Kyle Kaminsky).  Even though Troy and Grady were not the main characters, they were the ones to get the party started!!! I was excited to see such a solid gay couple depicted in a horror movie that actually survived. (Spoiler Alert). Troy was our original storyteller in CANDYMAN. I don't know bout y'all, but my gay friends always have the best stories. I be so ready for the ☕.  Troy provided the artist with the muse and motivation to recreate CANDYMAN. In my opinion Troy did not get the credit and recognition that he deserved. Many individuals in the LGBTQ+ community provide us with so much inspiration, fashion, and dope art and still do not get the recognition as they should. Troy and Grady stole my heart. I would definitely love to kickback and share ghost stories over a blunt with them.  Plus, Moscato is a dessert wine!! #Horrorsisters #Candyman #HorrorPride #Horrorfans #Pridemonth2022 #Horrorcoven #gaycouples #horrorjunkie #Horroraddict https://www.instagram.com/p/CeaQQlCuwDW/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Wisconsin defensive lineman Keeanu Benton Does an NFL Draft prospect know which quarterback he would like to sack most? [ad_1] The Atlanta Falcons activated Eddie Goldman from the reserve/retirement list Tuesday, nearly eight months after the veteran defensive tackle signed with the team and then retired weeks later.Goldman could join a remade defensive lineman rotation featuring Grady Jarrett, Ta'Quon Graham, free agent signing David Onyemata and Timmy Horne, an undrafted free agent from 2022 who started five games as a rookie.Goldman signed a one-year contract with Atlanta last July as part of a litany of former Bears players to join the Falcons, who had hired former Bears general manager Ryan Pace as a senior personnel executive in 2022. He then retired on July 19, just 13 days after signing with Atlanta and before he participated in a single practice with the club.Goldman was thought to be a potential starter for the Falcons last season before he walked away. It is unclear why Goldman decided to retire abruptly last offseason.Goldman, 29, was a second-round pick by the Bears in 2015 and played 81 games for Chicago, including 73 starts. He recorded 175 tackles and 13 sacks. [ad_2] Source link

Tom Brady quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers loses his touch
“He works as hard as anyone,” said Bowles. “Special treatment—there were a few guys who missed meetings and some practice for some private stuff—is not made public because they aren’t him. It kind of comes with the territory. Don’t worry about it too much.” What worries his fans is Brady’s dramatic decline after the news season in which he retired in February ended, not retiring after a month, and after much missed training camp found his marriage to Gisele Bundchen the subject of rampant tabloid speculation. Focus on not retiring. Brady in a fight against the Steelers.attributed to him:AP Brady’s 3.2 percent drop rate while attempting a pass is a career drop and he has only eight assists in six games after throwing a total of 96 in his first two seasons in Tampa, including the playoffs. He had 17 touchdown passes by this time last year and 14 the year before that. Bucs average 20.2 points per game, down from 30.1 points last season. Take the pick-6 by Mike Edwards in Week Two and Buck’s attack averaged just 19 points per game. Four times Brady started the season 3-3, his first two years as a rookie with the Patriots in 2001 and 2002 and again in 2005 and 12. It’s lucky to be 0.500 this year, too. The Rally Falcons failed in the fourth quarter of a 21-15 loss to Tampa Bay in Week 5 thanks to a contested penalty kick over Atlanta’s Grady Jarrett. That flag even costly for Brady, who was fined $11,139 (about $17,600) for attempting to kick Jarrett after it was removed. When asked after the loss to the Steelers and second in the second series about his message to his teammates, Brady said, “We have to score more points.” This is the cry of the crowd across the league as teams are averaging under 20 points per game and 49 teams (20.1) are off this mark with the Bucs. The reasons for the scarcity of points are many. Not many teams made their preseason debut and spent the season eliminating wrinkles on attack. Many veterans have changed teams, and re-creating the chemistry takes time. Shell defenses promoted by former Broncos coach Vic Fangio in the red stifle fouls inside the 20-yard line. The problems in Tampa may be a little deeper. “It doesn’t matter who you’re playing, if you’re not making plays, it doesn’t matter if it’s the Steelers or the Packers or the Saints,” Brady said. “You either do the plays or you don’t. It’s a productive act.” loading Brady stressed that this is not only the fault of the offensive line. “All of us. We have to do a better job in the running game, in the passing game,” Brady said. Everyone should do a better job. It is clear that there is no center performing at the elite level at the moment.” Quarterback included. AP Source link Originally published at Melbourne News Vine
