The thing about eso is that there will ALWAYS be new houses being released. Like there’s gonna be this huge cave with a ship inside that you can decorate once summerset is released. So while these houses are limited time, you’ll likely find one in the future that you’ll love just as much. And even though the coldharbour one is less appealing than other houses, it’s always available and you can buy it with gold thank god. Idk who would pay crowns for that house lmao.

Yeah, I figure there will be others I might like more (though I might still make a financially unsound decision and get the palace anyways because I don’t really mind paying a little extra every once in a while for a game I bought on sale that’s still coming out with new content). I’m still holding out for a house in the city of Orsinium. Probably right now I’ll just get a few of the things that are going to be discontinued (like the Dragon Bones collectors stuff).

I kinda wish they’d do a second round, though. Like there are a couple that came out last year, when I wasn’t playing or even really thinking about playing the game, that I’d like a chance at now (mostly Grand Topal Hideaway). It just seems like a bum deal if you’re not playing when the items are out, or if you can’t afford it right then.

I went ahead and prebought Summerset along with a bunch of crowns, so I’ve got the Nightmare Senche and bought the pretty Noble Dress in the crown store (look, it’s pretty and I like it and it looks good on my Orc) and since I’ve got some extra crowns now I’m debating between:

A couple of crown crates (probably the set of 4, so I have a chance at getting variety and/or extra gems to go towards the stuff I want)

Clockwork City

Maybe one of the other DLCs? But they’re all dungeon based so I’m not sure I’d like them as much right now. I can’t get a feel for the stories from the descriptions.

Another outfit (the Ever Damp Reed-Fiber Kilt, Grazelands Gentlemer Farmer, and Noble Suit look fucking sweet on my Argonian)

just saving the rest/most of my crowns for a house since I want Gardner House and Forsaken Stronghold for sure and I don’t have quite enough gold/crowns for either of them unfurnished yet (honestly I’d also kill for Grand Topal Hideaway but noooooo it was only available for a limited fucking time)
