I'm generally fine with trigger warnings in places where you don't expect to encounter certain themes (in the same way that I get why news segments warn you about disturbing content before showing it) but I do think it's kinda dumb to include stuff like "this story contains police corruption" in a murder mystery novel or "this story contains violence" in a horror novel. Like yeah I sure hope it does.

I remember so little of the first Borderlands game. replaying it honestly feels like playing it for the first time all over again
