𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙘𝙖𝙮 -

The family and I had a lovely time in the sun (and rain) while staying in the caravan at (was has become) one of our annual summer activities.

There was a music festival on too - where my mum grinded up against a fake Robbie Williams - called Grange Fest so it was a whole afternoon and evening of various tribute acts and a DJ Set! Always fun to watch. Other activities wise we went to a kids disco, there was a nearby park to play in, Arcade and a little water area with sand to keep them busy.

On site at The Grange there is a range of on-park activities, including fishing and golf, as well as cafes, bars and even take-away restaurants.

The kids weren't fussed by the evening entertainment as by 8pm after a long day playing they were done in but loved being able to have the freedom to play safely in the sand and park. Featured here are some happy photos but it wouldn't be a typical staycay without kids having their tantrums!

Staycay at the Grange!

Was so fun to join in on their first GrangeFest and just overall been a lovely weekend with the kids, my parents and nephew! (Not an ad, I wish, I'm definitely available to be sponsored by paid for holidays)

Pitched up at pitch 13 on Friday the 13th nestled in a serene scenic location and now that things are opening/have opened back up again it's a much more relaxed vibe than when the Lockdown restrictions were in place (goes without saying)

Saturday was a busy day - Oscar, Trix and my dad went on the Aqua Park and there was also a music festival on! The kids really enjoyed the Aquapark - so much so Oscar was desperate to go on it again the next day but at £27 per person for an hour it's a bit steep (you hire out the wetsuit and £2 for the socks)

Its a family friendly (age 5 and up) Watersport with giant 80 metre long inflatable water assault course. There are balance beams, spinning hamster wheel to climb inside, Rockitt, giant see saw, Neptune columns, 8 trampolines, two giant slides and Aquaparks marquee piece the 5 meter high Jungle joe from which to jump from onto the blasting point to catapult your friends into the air! If you aren't on the caravan site there is still ample free parking open to the public.

In the afternoon there was GrangeFest which was great and everyone socially distanced still.

A free music festival with live acts, resident DJ, bouncy castle and a coconut throwing stand in aid of raising money for the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.

The headline act was an 80's explosion with a @kylieminogue tribute act! There was also a @jessiej @edsheeran @taylorswift tribute acts plus Luckies Drum Radio Show and other musical acts I can't remember the name of pllusss there was a BBQ and a Hog Roast on! In the evening Eva-Beatrix and I joined in on the evening rave with the local DJ (think his name was Gavin) and I had a little dance 💃

We've stayed at this caravan site before and they have some entertainment on but when we stayed previously there wasn't as much on because of the restrictions but this time we went to their disco and checked out the Arcade. Been fun!
