𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙘𝙖𝙮 -

The family and I had a lovely time in the sun (and rain) while staying in the caravan at (was has become) one of our annual summer activities.

There was a music festival on too - where my mum grinded up against a fake Robbie Williams - called Grange Fest so it was a whole afternoon and evening of various tribute acts and a DJ Set! Always fun to watch. Other activities wise we went to a kids disco, there was a nearby park to play in, Arcade and a little water area with sand to keep them busy.

On site at The Grange there is a range of on-park activities, including fishing and golf, as well as cafes, bars and even take-away restaurants.

The kids weren't fussed by the evening entertainment as by 8pm after a long day playing they were done in but loved being able to have the freedom to play safely in the sand and park. Featured here are some happy photos but it wouldn't be a typical staycay without kids having their tantrums!

Caravan owners will not get a refund on ground lease in spite of vans left empty – Nottinghamshire Live

A vacation park operator on the Skegness coast says there is”no legal responsibility”to offer caravan owners with a refund or reduction on their ground lease in spite of the coronavirus lockdown. Coastfield Leisure runs popular holiday websites along the Lincolnshire coast including Coastfields Vacation Village, in Ingoldmells, Grange Leisure Park, in Mablethorpe, North Shore Holiday Centre and Skegness Fields Vacation Park. The letter sent to owners on Coastfield Leisure websites included they would be given access to the website all year-round if East Lindsey District Council enable for this to happen -at no extra expense to owners.

𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 💦

The kids, my nephew, my dad, @lalalallett and her son and I all went and did the @lincolnshire_aqua_park

You can slide, slip, climb, crawl, jump, swim and run on the giant inflatable Aquapark - definitely recommend as a fun activity!

The one we went to was at Grange Leisure park, Mablethorpe, and all of their onsite family friendly facilities are open to the public at the including Costa coffee shop, restaurant and spectating is free via the lakeside picnic table viewing area so while we all went climbing, jumping, sliding my mum was able to watch my other nephew and daughter as they played in the sand area - extra bonus points because 4 year olds can pass the time for ages building sandcastles and paddling.

Watersports can be social and encourage teamwork (for example, I fell in and got stuck as I have no upper body strength so my dad had to hoist me out) and it's often a fun way of meeting new people, through group activities and helping each other out in some aspect or another - so finding an activity the kids and I can all enjoy is great.

Exercise is well-known for lightening your mood as it releases endorphins. When you pair this with the water (pool, sea, lake) it can further improve your temperament because the calm and soothing waters spread positivity (we definitely felt boosted afterwards)

The water can make you feel light, and your muscles can relax; this level of tranquillity can be great for your mental health. Furthermore, being active in the water, from surfing to swimming to paddle boarding, can be used as an escape from day to day life. Additionally, focusing on a sport can give you something else to concentrate on; therefore, you can fully immerse yourself in the experience and develop a new skill.

Did you know? Swimming is one of the best all-around exercises. It provides cardiovascular exercise, strength training and muscle toning, flexibility, range of motion and coordination. The fact that swimming can be done anywhere makes it a great workout option for people on the go or who may have injuries that limit their ability to do outdoor activities outside of the pool.

Staycay at the Grange!

Was so fun to join in on their first GrangeFest and just overall been a lovely weekend with the kids, my parents and nephew! (Not an ad, I wish, I'm definitely available to be sponsored by paid for holidays)

Pitched up at pitch 13 on Friday the 13th nestled in a serene scenic location and now that things are opening/have opened back up again it's a much more relaxed vibe than when the Lockdown restrictions were in place (goes without saying)

Saturday was a busy day - Oscar, Trix and my dad went on the Aqua Park and there was also a music festival on! The kids really enjoyed the Aquapark - so much so Oscar was desperate to go on it again the next day but at £27 per person for an hour it's a bit steep (you hire out the wetsuit and £2 for the socks)

Its a family friendly (age 5 and up) Watersport with giant 80 metre long inflatable water assault course. There are balance beams, spinning hamster wheel to climb inside, Rockitt, giant see saw, Neptune columns, 8 trampolines, two giant slides and Aquaparks marquee piece the 5 meter high Jungle joe from which to jump from onto the blasting point to catapult your friends into the air! If you aren't on the caravan site there is still ample free parking open to the public.

In the afternoon there was GrangeFest which was great and everyone socially distanced still.

A free music festival with live acts, resident DJ, bouncy castle and a coconut throwing stand in aid of raising money for the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.

The headline act was an 80's explosion with a @kylieminogue tribute act! There was also a @jessiej @edsheeran @taylorswift tribute acts plus Luckies Drum Radio Show and other musical acts I can't remember the name of pllusss there was a BBQ and a Hog Roast on! In the evening Eva-Beatrix and I joined in on the evening rave with the local DJ (think his name was Gavin) and I had a little dance 💃

We've stayed at this caravan site before and they have some entertainment on but when we stayed previously there wasn't as much on because of the restrictions but this time we went to their disco and checked out the Arcade. Been fun!
