I'm curious about one thing: does the show ever touch upon those who left the team, at all?

I'm currently at s9, taking a break from watching it, but I have seen Greenaway's leave, Gideon's leave and the impact Prentiss' "death" and leave had and has on the team. I wonder if anyone on the team misses them?

We saw Garcia struggling with losing Emily and JJ, with her going so far to try and replicate JJ's role in one episode as Communications Liason (and fail at it.) does Reid ever think about Gideon, how he was a better father than his own? Would Reid miss Blake when she leaves? Does Prentiss, at Interpol, ever think about the team and Seaver? Do any of those who left ever think about the BAU, the friends they made and left suddenly?

just saying this is the cutest duo i’ve seen in sooooo long

✩ little jj is very shy and reserved in the first season, no one else knowing about her regression

✩ elle knows all her telltale signs of the littleness.

✩ jj is so well behaved for elle, always being sweet and it’s a very rare occurrence of her being naughty.

✩ jj never slips around the team and if she does, it’s very subtly and elle will give her space

✩ elle treats jj like an absolute princess, constantly treating her and giving her cuddles and always kisses

✩ jj loves playing dress up and tea parties and elle never has any objections. always dressing up with her and doing her hair and makeup

✩ jj loves sleeping in elle’s bed. she doesn’t have a little room but has her own spare room at elle’s house but will regularly crawl into elle’s in the middle of the night

✩ elle always wakes up before jj and holds her so tight, admiring her sleeping, little face.

✩ every morning, before work, jj has a little huff about going in but elle promises to give her big cuddles and rewards if she’s a good girl and goes in

✩ jj struggles very much with dealing with her sadness. elle is the only one who knows about roslyn and helps her process that

✩ once elle leaves the team, jj struggles with not having her there and warming up to the rest of the team

✩ for a while, elle visits the team for jj and when she misbehaves, the team call in elle to help.

✩ even when elle leaves the city, she still checks in on little jj and steps up when emily goes to paris.

this picture is so funny to me it looks like a family on a roadtrip. aaron and elle are the exhausted parents, reid is the annoying backseat driver, and garcia is the ipad kid

Something that really gets to me about Hotch is how patient he is with his team. You never really see him lose his temper with them, even when they lose his temper with him.

Morgan and Reid have both yelled at Hotch but both times he never yelled back, he just calmly told them he values them and that they are misunderstanding his intentions.

He revealed in season 5 that he does his team’s case summaries most of the time so that they can go home when they are meant to, meaning he is always in the office.

He always lets Garcia do her silly bits because he knows it’ll make her day better, and sometimes he will even indulge her by joining in.

He put everything on the line by keeping Reid’s addiction a secret and by not telling anyone about what Elle did.

He did everything he could to protect Emily when her life was in danger.

When a member of his team says they need a break or they need to step away, he never forces them to carry on, he is so completely understanding of their needs and genuinely values their mental well-being.

I just love him so much, he was such a perfect leader
