Mi chiamo Giorgia Adragna, in arte Geo e frequento l'accademia di belle arti a Palermo, in Sicilia. Sono sempre stata attenta all'ambiente, quand'ero più piccola obbligavo i miei amici e compagni di liceo a mettere le cicche delle loro sigarette in un pacchetto vuoto che prendevo da terra. La situazione in Sicilia è molto triste e degradante, sopratutto nella zona del trapanese e nel palermitano, in cui sono nata e cresciuta. Nell'ottobre 2018 ho iniziato un nuovo percorso artistico a Palermo, una città meravigliosa, pieno di ricchezze che però viene trattata da discarica dai suoi stessi abitanti. Non capivo perchè la gente si comportasse in questo modo e allora ho iniziato a girare per la città, a chiedere alle persone in strada per quale motivo Palermo pur essendo bellissima viene trattata in questo modo. Per molti il problema è il comune, il sindaco e la regione, ma io penso che sia l'indifferenza e l'inciviltà il problema fondamentale. Allora ho iniziato a cambiare stile di vita, in quanto ho capito che riciclare e non gettare rifiuti a terra non basta, sì è importantissimo ma bisogna necessariamente ridurre i consumi, riutilizzzare ciò che si ha e rifiutare qualsiasi forma di plastica monouso. In questi mesi mi sono avvicinata al movimento internazionale Fridays For Future, creato e diffuso dalla giovane attivista Greta Thumberg, che stimo moltissimo. Inizialmente si parlava solo di questo movimento, come una sorta di moda, però successivamente scioperare con i cartelli davanti il municipio non ha funzionato più, perché non veniamo ascoltati. Mi sentivo così sola. A quel punto ho conosciuto il movimento Extinction Rebellion, in particolare mi sono iscritta alla piattaforma online Extinction Rebellion Italy, da cui mi si è aperto un mondo di persone con tanta voglia di fare e di agire in merito alla situazione. Il movimento è nato a Londra ed è diventato in meno di un anno un movimento internazionale, è arrivato anche in Sicilia, noi ragazzi di Alcamo siamo i pionieri! Il movimento XR si basa su studi delle azioni compiute in passato (ex: Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks) e ritiene che per far avvenire un reale cambio di sistema vi è bisogno di una mobilitazione del 3,5% della popolazione mondiale, agendo NON-VIOLENTEMENTE, come strategia perchè le azioni non violente/pafiche hanno una maggiore probabilità di vincità positiva, attraverso la disobbedienza civile di massa. Le tre richieste alla politica sono: 1 TELL THE TRUTH, ovvero dire che la situazione non è sotto controllo 2 ACT NOW, lo stato deve dichiarare l'emergenza climatica ed ecologica e agire di conseguenza 3 CITY ASSEMBLY, abbiamo bisogno di un team di esperti che guidi l'azione dei politici ed integrare i cittadini ad attuare un cambiamento nel piccolo. Durante questa estate con il gruppo XR sicily abbiamo svolto numerose attività, dalle performance artistiche a clean-up, dalla sensibilizzazione al volotariato! In queste settimane mi sto occupando del terzo sciopero globale per il clima del 27 settembre, nel mio paese, Alcamo in cui esibirò una mia opera scultorea, formata da bottiglie di plastica recuperate per strade e modellate a forma di meduse, delle creature marine che si sono evolute per milioni di anni senza utilizzare il cervello, con quest'opera cerco di far riflettere l'osservatore facendogli capire che noi, esseri umani, dotati di cervello invece ci stiamo autodistruggendo. Inoltre dal 7 al 13 ottobre si terrà la Ribellione Internazionale, in Italia sarà a Roma e non vedo l'ora di partecipare! My name is Giorgia Adragna, aka Geo and I attend the academy of fine arts in Palermo, Sicily. I have always cared about the environment - when I was younger I forced my friends and high school friends to put their cigarette ends in an empty pack that I took from the ground. The situation in Sicily is very depressing, especially in the Trapani area and in the Palermo area, where I was born and grew up. In October 2018 I started a new artistic journey in Palermo, a wonderful city, full of riches but treated as a rubbish dump by its own inhabitants. I didn't understand why people behaved in this way and then I started traveling around the city, asking people in the street why Palermo, despite being beautiful, is treated in this way. For many the problem is the municipality, the mayor and the region, but I think that the fundamental problem is indifference and antisocial attitudes. So I started to change my lifestyle, because I realized that recycling and not throwing rubbish on the ground is not enough. Yes it is very important, but it is necessary to reduce consumption, reuse what you have and reject any form of disposable plastic. In recent months I have connected to the international movement Fridays For Future, created and circulated by the young activist Greta Thunberg, whom I respect very much. Initially there was public discussion of this movement, as a sort of fad, but later on striking with signs in front of the town hall did not work anymore, because we are not heard. I felt so alone. At that point I met the Extinction Rebellion movement. In particular I enrolled in the Extinction Rebellion Italy online platform, from which a world of people with a great desire to do and to act on the situation opened up. The movement was born in London and has become an international movement in less than a year, it has also arrived in Sicily, we Alcamo boys are the pioneers! The XR movement is based on studies of actions carried out in the past (ex: Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks) and believes that to bring about a real change of system there is need for a mobilization of 3.5% of the world population, acting NON-VIOLENTLY, as a strategy - because non-violent actions have a greater probability of bringing positive and long-lasing change - through mass civil disobedience. The three policy requests are: 1 TELL THE TRUTH - Admit that the situation is not under control 2 ACT NOW - The state must declare the climatic and ecological emergency and act accordingly 3 PEOPLE’S ASSEMBLY - We need a team of civilians to guide the action of politicians in the interests of the public During this summer with the XR Sicily group we have carried out numerous activities, from artistic performances to clean-ups, from awareness-raising to volunteering! In the past few weeks I have been working on the third global climate strike on September 27th, in my country, Alcamo in which I will exhibit one of my sculptural works, made up of plastic bottles recovered in the streets and modelled in the shape of jellyfish - sea creatures that have evolved for millions of years without using the brain. With this work I try to make the observer think, making him understand that we ‘advanced’ human beings with our brains are instead destroying ourselves. Also from 7 to 13 October the International Rebellion will be held - in Italy it will be in Rome and I can't wait to participate!

These are the list of characters involved in this au. Frank, Louis, Bob and Greta are trying to save Karen from Knight.EXE, while the others listen have either been killed or have almost been killed by Knight.EXE. (There are more who have been killed, but they are not as important as the ones listed.) And now, more info about the four trying to save Karen! (TW past this point for vague s*icide mentions)
