[Mumbo was hold captive by the Watcher as a hostage, fortunately, Grian—the secret leader of the rebellion group and also his 'thought to be dead' best friend, found him. Grian help Mumbo escaped, but they have to parted ways because Grian can't left his allies and comrade just yet]

“I can see them—Mumbo jump to the portal!”

“I'm not leaving you here.”

“I can't go. My war is not over.”

“Then I'm staying, your war is my war too. I'm not loosing you again Grian—”

“So am I!” The hand squeezed him. Warm and protective hand that he missed so much. “I know you will refused to go, Mumbo. But trust me when I said this, you're not strong enough to fight a watcher, let alone a bunch of them.”

Mumbo gulps. “Then what makes you think you can?”

“I can't.” Grian admits. “But I have allies. They've dealt with the Watchers countless time, there's a part we need to play, Mumbo. My part is to be the leader of this rebellion, and your part is to reach the World Hub safely, and return with back up.” I trust you.

“Okay.” Mumbo slowly let go. “Okay. I trust you, just—don't die, please.”

Grian smiles. “I won't.”

“I'll come back for you.”

“And I'll be waiting.”

I think my greatest accomplishment in writing fanfiction is coming up with a title for my Grumbo vampire au, that ends up spelling BAT (Blood And Tears). It’s small things like this that make me happy

Some hermit tells Grian he's got s very pretty dress and Grian is like "heh! Thanks!"

Then Mumbo walks up behind him "that's not a dress that's one of my shirts he's just wearing a belt"

And turns out half of Grian's wardrobe has just become Mumbo's shirt except Grian is REALLY small so they all look oversized on him and he just uses them.as dresses cause he refuses to not wear them.

Mumbo thinks it's endearing until he realizes he doesn't have shirts anymore

fanfic idea:

mumbo accidentally courting grian.

it starts with him giving grian a nice rock he found, because hey! grian likes that kinda thing, right?

(he doesnt know what this means in avian culture)

then, grian is re-stocking the entity after grinding for some stuff, anf mumbo is there buying some stuff, and sees that theres a twig caught up in grians feathers that looks kinda uncomfortable. so he pulls it out, before smoothing down grians feathers and going back to what he was doing.

he is completely oblivious to the way grian blushes.

then mumbo sees that grian is working on a leafy, tree-like part of his base.

so he gives grian some nest materials sticks and leaves and stuff for it.

grian's bird-brain is just going fucking feral, but grians just trying not to do something insane.

then mumbo talks to scar, and off-handedly mentions something about grian, and the whole situation. then scars just like 'u did what.'

scar, being a former wizard, knows about avian courting.

and tells mumbo.

theres a real big 'oh shit' moment.

What do you guys feel about temporary-blind Watcher Grian who can't recognize Mumbo after he crashed on the Hermitcraft server (Like he knows him. But not his name or his face or his voice, he remember his laugh but not how it sounds, rather how it make him feel.)

Ofc it's Mumbo's perspective, maybe.

I'm still playing this idea around but I just want multiple opinions
