One day I will draw the interactions between future trio and the guild members. But until then. well.

so the thing about me is that i am perfectionist in just about every regard, but especially when i'm playing pokemon - even casually! oh, a mild chandelure? that's good, but not good enough... i need modest or timid. oh, a shiny aron... but it has a +sp atk nature? can't use it, damn.
obviously this is really silly! but i can't help it. right now in this soulsilver playthrough, i keep thinking stuff like - "damn it, this jigglypuff is so weak, i should replace it" - or "what pokemon should i use to cover my team's weaknesses?" rather than just enjoying myself. this is why renegade platinum was so fucking good for me, because i was able to be a perfectionist, use the mons i liked, AND it was still a challenge (i even lost once in that game!). so here i am in this soul silver playthrough and i am just not enjoying it at all.
i actually haven't been able to finish a full playthrough of soul silver in a really long time, possibly since my childhood. i always get bored halfway through johto. but i do really want to do this. for that reason, i'm thinking of using a themed team. something like - a pmd:sky themed team with celebi, treecko(that doesnt evolve past grovyle), duskull, etc. that way i can force myself into some limitations that'll require some creative problem solving.
any ideas before i start this? like let's say i wanted to use a pmd:sky themed team with celebi, grovyle, dusknoir... who else? dialga is a thought but that would be busted especially in gen 4, so maybe no for that one. wigglytuff would be interesting but i'd literally never use it lol, i guess there's bidoof, chatot, sunflora that come to mind. hmu if you have any ideas.
