Minos and sisyphus argue over who visits who. Minos dislikes greed, it is too hot and dry and everything burns into your skin, sisyphus thinks lust is very cold and the winds and temperature are not nice to his hair. But minos agrees to travel to greed with him. Sisyphus covers him over with the fabric wrapped around his waist, picking him up and protecting him from the unforgiving sun. Sisyphus crosses the sands. Minos questions it. Is it not supposed to melt skin off bone? 'You grow used to it.' But he wasnt going to put minos through it.

They get to sisyphus' place, there is a pool in the lower floor, out of the sun and comparably very cool. The snakes seem to be enjoying themselves however. They enjoy sisyphus' presence, resting around him to soak up his body heat and the sun.

It is not an entirely private area, anyone is free to enjoy the water here. But its empty and just private enough for the two of them. They share drinks, minos enjoys the pool and sisyphus sits on the side. He just has his legs in the water and he leans back on his hands to watch minos in the pool, jokingly chiding him for how little he visits and how much he enjoys his time here.

Minos eventually makes his way closer to sisyphus. He takes sisyphus' foot into his hand, running his hand over it as he remembers their conversation earlier. It is terribly scarred and hurt looking. No wonder he doesnt feel it anymore. His whole body is like this, and they are not even scars from his actual punishment, just the cruelty of hell and its elements. Sisyphus brings his own hand to minos' side, soft unscarred skin, a testament to how different they are, how their treatment differs. Minos is brought deeper into his thoughts. He has never been treated like that. Not by hell. Not by anything. His hands travel to rub sisyphus' calves, working through the tense muscles as he thought, hands sinking into his damaged skin.

THE GRUESOME DEATHS OF THE METAL MEN

In Brave & Bold #55, we discover that the Metal Men were not the first robots Doc Magnus created!

The story begins with the Metal Men creating an amusement park for some orphans. Of course Tina becomes obsessed with having children.

Back at Magnus’ lab, Tina stumbles into an electronic generator which disintegrates her. Then Doc discovers that her atomic structure has changed and he can’t bring her back.

Immediately after Iron falls back into a magnetic force field which destroys him too!

To make matters worse, Gold falls into a vat containing a solution that dissolves him!

Mercury loses his temper (as usual) and decides to turn down the temperature. This causes him to shrink live mercury in a thermometer!

Tin turns the heat back up, but too high! He melts into slag!

Then Lead does something he’s don’t countless times, but this time with different result!

THEN we discover two evil robots are behind all this destruction!

I was wondering, if reader (BEN’s partner) somehow died and was incorporated into BEN, how would all their dynamics change? I’m assuming reader died pretty quick and nothing heavily dis formed them, so they might look completely (or mostly) the same now they roam whatever landscape the moon children are in. I honeslty don’t know much of the BEN lore, so this probably won’t ever happen in canon, but I think I’d be interesting to think about the what ifs

Even if BEN enjoys spending time with its partner, it's more likely to mourn and move on. Death is only the natural order of things. Adding their partner to the network would hinge on a multitude of factors that are circumstantial for both parties.

For example, you would have to be a willing and active participant in all the heinous acts they commit. You can't let your emotions impede the Moon Children's choices. That would only hold them back and ultimately piss them off.

Having to adjust to this new reality would be a process for everyone as well. It had been a while since someone newly joined. They all came from the exact circumstances. Sharing a pain no one but them could understand. Sure, they love you, but you're not like them. 

Would you be willing to spend forever with them? Do they truly love you enough? In a way, this would be something like a marriage. A "marriage" between at least seventeen psychotic people. At least now you get to see them individually more often.

I had a disturbing thought...

Remember how mercury mentions how qrow smells just like him after a rough day???

What if marcus is exactly like qrow (obviously personality wise) like remember he's supposedly remnants famous assassin so- can you imagine the fuck up similarities he has to qrow?? What's worse is that he could also be exactly like tai-yang too (since merc is yangs opposite) who finds semblances useless and I hadn't scratch the surfaces of how much of a fuck up person he is

I think it's a lot more disturbing then just his legs and semblances. My guy is worse is 10 times worse then fucking Jaques. Of course I ramped up the mercury trauma to 100 in my au....

Dude I wanna see marcus on screen. For once I want to feel the fear and dread for once in rwby I wanna pause the show step back go what the fuck then come back and watch it some more eating snacks drinking soda and all of this shit. I wanna mercury going absolutely ballistics and stop holding back FOR ONCE because I'm convinced that's all he's been doing since marcus died. Holding back I think whatever happened in the fight scared him so bad he realized what he was becoming took a breathe and stop fighting the way he did with marcus and started to step back and hold back his true strength. I have a feeling he doesn't want emerald to see the monster he's becoming which is why he's holding back.

hmm how do you think dee got out of the wall in madbu? i think the army of cats reluctantly took pity on her because of her overwhelmingly pathetic nature and chewed through the wall to help her out. like when you meet the worst and most bastardly person you know in a bathroom and want to avoid them but they are crying so you have to ask if they are okay.
