गुड़ी पड़वा से होती है हिन्दू नववर्ष की शुरुआत, जानिए इस त्योहार का महत्व

टीम चैतन्य भारत चैत्र मास की शुक्ल प्रतिपदा को नववर्ष का शुभारंभ होता है और उसी दिन गुड़ी-पड़वा (मराठी-पाडवा) का पर्व भी मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष गुड़ी पड़वा का पर्व 13 अप्रैल को ���नाया जाएगा। गुड़ी पड़वा पर्व आमतौर पर महाराष्ट्र, आंध्रप्रदेश और गोवा सहित दक्षिण भारतीय राज्यों में हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया जाता है। बता दें गुड़ी का मतलब होता है 'ध्वज' यानि 'झंडा' और पड़वा का मतलब 'प्रतिपदा तिथि' होता है। इसी दिन से चैत्र नवरात्र की भी शुरूआत होती है।

सृष्टि के निर्माण का दिन  ऐसी मान्यता है कि गुड़ी पड़वा के दिन ब्रह्मा जी ने सृष्टि की रचना का कार्य शुरू किया था। इस वजह से ही इस दिन को सृष्टि का प्रथम दिन भी कहा जाता है। इस दिन नवरात्र घटस्थापना, ध्वजारोहण, संवत्सर का पूजन इत्यादि किया जाता है।

गुड़ी पड़वा की परंपरा इस दिन लोग अपने-अपने घरों की साफ-सफाई कर रंगोली बनाते हैं और साथ ही तोरण भी द्वार पर लगाते हैं। घर के आगे गुड़ी यानी झंडा रखा जाता है और इसके आलावा एक बर्तन पर स्वास्तिक बनाकर उस पर रेशन का कपड़ा लपेटकर उसे रखा जाता है। इस दिन सूर्यदेव की आराधना होती है और साथ ही सुंदरकांड, रामरक्षा स्त्रोत और देवी भगवती के मंत्रो का जाप करने की परंपरा है।

गुड़ी पड़वा से जुड़ी पौराणिक कथा पौराणिक मान्यता के मुताबिक सतयुग में दक्षिण भारत में राजा बालि का शासन था। जब भगवान श्री राम को पता चला की लंकापति रावण ने माता सीता का हरण कर लिया है तो उनकी तलाश करते हुए जब वे दक्षिण भारत पहुंचे तो यहां उनकी उनकी मुलाकात सुग्रीव से हुई। सुग्रीव ने श्रीराम को बालि के कुशासन से अवगत करवाते हुए उनकी सहायता करने में अपनी असमर्थता जाहिर की। इसके बाद भगवान श्री राम ने बालि का वध कर दक्षिण भारत के लोगों को उसके आतंक से मुक्त करवाया। मान्यता है कि वह दिन चैत्र शुक्ल प्रतिपदा का था। इस वजह से ही इस दिन गुड़ी यानि विजय पताका फहराई जाती है।

क्या है गुड़ी गुड़ी के लिए एक बांस के ऊपर चांदी या फिर पीतल का कलश उल्टा कर रख दिया जाता है और इसे केसरियां रंग के या फिर रेशम के कपड़ें से सजाया जाता है। इसके बाद गुड़ी को गाठी, नीम की पत्तियों, आम की डंठल और लाल रंग के फूलों से सजाया जाता है। सजावट के बाद गुड़ी को घर के किसी भी ऊंचे स्थान पर लगाया जाता है जिससे कि उसे दूर से भी देखा जा सके। Read the full article
