Got to play a Yamaha revstar on my lunch break the other day (the blue one with the stripes) I’ve wanted one of these for like 5 years. Yamaha really makes amazing guitars for the money. I’m still thrilled with every Yamaha I have. One day….you will be mine….

Everyone harps on about strats being inspired by classic cars, in their symmetry, coloring and just general aesthetics. But these revstars Yamaha have been coming out with really nail that look way better if you ask me. And from what I’ve seen so far even the lower end ones come with really smooth hardware and are just smattered top to bottom with very pleasing textures and are fun to look at and hold and stuff

Also you can’t tell but that tele behind the left handed strat had just one p90 pick up and i don’t think I’ve ever seen a telecaster with that pickup configuration that wasn’t already modified. Fender out here doin some pretty cool Shit these days.

Like that paranormal line they came out with, there was a baritone telecaster with P90s for $400 that I wanted sooooooo Fucking bad lmao

I’m trying to distance myself from acoustic stuff because I’ve kinda pigeon holed myself into just playing acoustic stuff all the time, not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I feel kind of uncomfortable when I pick up and electric guitar now. My logic was that if I play fast and crazy on acoustic I’ll just get better at guitar in general because acoustics are harder to play fast on, which was kinda true, but hitting the strings and having a big loud ass sound come out of an amp is a difficult adjustment for me now lol whatever thanks for reading if you read this ♥️
