Hotel Portofino season 3 and possibility of Assad Zaman returning

So, Hotel Portofino will return with season 3.

Assad's friend Gurjeet Singh, with whom he worked on several projects (most notably East is east in '21)

will be in it and he has been posting stories from set in July this year

This was while the IwtV production in Prague was still ongoing, so it's clear why the character of Nish needed to *cough* not be in it *cough*.

So who knows if Gurjeet's character will be some friend or family member looking for Anish...?

(also, Assad is definitely the guy on set who goes Oh! You need more South Asian actors? Well do I have some very talented old colleagues of mine I'm going to introduce you to 😊)

Here I put my tinfoil hat on for sec regarding the possibility of a Nish cameo - HP is a British production shot in Croatia with mainly English and Italian cast, the strike probably doesn't touch them. After IwtV stoped shooting... We know Assad's been hanging out in Croatia

Based purely on the fact that I think he's cute, right now I fancast Gurjeet Singh (who played alongside Assad Zaman in East is East) as Seth. No other reason than that (and, you know, I think he's an underrated actor).

Just imagine it - Gurjeet Singh and Gopal Divan together being adorable science boyfriends. You love to see it. Or, at least, I do.

I've only been thinking about this because I'm having random thoughts about Seth & Fareed appearing in one of my future fics. I usually never fancast characters.

Shri Venkateshwara University organized a National seminar on the scope & Opportunities in Pharmacy.

The School of Pharmacy at Shri Venkateshwara University held a seminar with participation from scientists, Pharmacy Deans from different universities, and industry experts.

The seminar highlighted that the pharmaceuticals industry is the third-largest in the world.

It offers various opportunities for skilled professionals in India & abroad.

The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Chief Speaker Prof. Amit Verma, Chief Advisor to the Chairman Prof. VPS Arora & the CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava inaugurated the seminar by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The VC Dr Rakesh Yadav, & the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey assisted them in inaugurating the seminar on the scope & opportunities in the Pharmacy sector.

On this occasion, the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated through quality education & qualified faculty the Venkateshwara Group nurtures trained professionals for the Pharmacy sector.

To boost R&D in pharmacy, we intend to turn the Venkateshwara School of Pharmacy into a Centre of Excellence.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi, the Pro Chancellor, confirmed that the pharmaceutical sector is in a golden era, with a high demand for skilled professionals in India and abroad.  

Prof Amit Verma of Rohilkhand University Bareilly informed that pharmacists not only dispense drugs, but play a vital role in drug development, Pharma Marketing, Hospital administration, Community pharmacy & R & D.

Prof. S K Verma of Punjab University, Dr Neha Tyagi of Jamia, Pharmacy Dean Dr OmPrakash Gosai, Dean Dr Ashwin Kumar, & Dean Dr Rahul Kumar also addressed the Pharmacy seminar.

Those present included the Group Advisor Mr. RS Sharma, Academic Director Dr Rajesh Singh, Director (S&A) Mr. Ramyash Singh & the Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh.

Dr Ramesh Chaudhary, Dr Shilpi Sharma, Dr Mohit Shrivastava, Dr Dheeraj Dubey Ashwani Gupta, Manju Rani, Pankaj Gill, Ravi Saini, Vicky Singh, Renu Saini, Ankush Gautam, and Manu Bharti were all present.

Also present were Shrestha Singh, Gurjeet Singh, Arun Goswami, COO Gurdayal Singh, SS Baghel & the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
