Bro… AETOS WAS A PERSON?!

That might explain why Prometheus allies with Aetos. Imagine if you’ve fallen in love with Zeus during childhood and was the first to recognise him as the king. Then not only does your crush marry someone else, your crush’s wife is jealous of you and curses you into a bird. Then your crush goes “oh this is a nice new form for you!” And doesn’t do anything about it 💀 And as thanks for your loyalty, your crush makes you eat a Titan’s liver for all eternity

Maybe that’s why Prometheus forgave Aetos. He knows Aetos had done it outside of his will and sees a future where Aetos’ curse may be undone

No wonder they both hate Zeus

As for how Aetos was around if Prometheus hadn’t made humans yet… maybe he was a nymph of some kind?

ok so like- the new Prometheus sprite from the update.

It’s so good, and it’s not just because he looks even hotter somehow- but it kinda is.

the thing I notice the most is his expression, he’s smiling- like actually smiling!! And just- seeing this poor tortured dude both in the actual mythology and in hades actually genuinely smile just gets my heart. Like yes-

one must imagine Prometheus happy actually, you go king with your 4-d chess plan prove them all wrong and get that last laugh.
