I think it’s interesting that everyone assumes Nemesis is a top when she quite literally is the embodiment of getting even. And I get it. She’s like 7ft tall and jacked and and Melinoe is tiny by comparison.

But Nemesis likes to get even, no more or less. She’s got to be a switch. A very bossy, dommy switch, but a switch.

Melinoe is also a switch but a much softer, sub/bratty switch. She’s polite and too serious, but loosens up over time.

What I’m saying is that Melinoe tops Nemesis sometimes, but only if Nemesis wants to and says so. And under the condition that Melinoe never talks to anyone about topping her giant gf.

What happened to our best boi Cerberus???

Is Hypnos okay? Is he napping like just catching up or was he injured/locked away in sleep??? Slight spoiler: in the flashback he was also sleeping so has he ever been awake as long as Melinoe can remember???

Where is Dusa?!!? Did she get out okay?

Completely not relevant to anything do you think the broker and the chef from the first game are platonic besties or were enemies to lovers fighting over who is Hades’ favourite??

Do you think we could see Rhea, Kronos’ wife and mother of many Olympians, in the story???

What the fuck are the doors/wards blocking??? Ones says it’s blocking upstairs and there were talks about going to Olympus so maybe that’s one????

Not a question but I want Achilles and Patroclus to meet Odysseus. I don’t know if they jump him or are just incredible snarky but I want to see it

Are Thanatos and Meg doing Hades runs but the opposite way? Like going from Tartarus trying to get into the house of Hades cause damn it Kronos that’s our dumbass, and also our boss and boss 2, give them back!!

Do the Silver Sisters ever get to be on screen together just to hanging out? Like I know there will be a boon duo at some point but I just wanna see them catching up. I’ll take a flashback but I want to girls to just be chilling with their emotional support birds, frog and horse

Biggest tragedy of seeing a musical that doesn't have the original cast is afterward when you listen to the original cast recording and it is....not as good as the cast that you saw :(

Spent like 3 hours drawing him only to scratch it and do this in about 40 minutes. Yes, I play afkjourney. And arena. Here, I’m doxxed. But some of the the designs are just so good, guys… like Ludovic here. Or Cyran. Or Sonja. Or Cecia. Or…

You get it. I play for the pretty men and supreme women that kick ass. Not for the plot, tho it’s also nice. In general, not the writing. The writing is terrible, but the idea is good.

The best character in Hades is actually the Head chef. The shade in the kitchen that is constantly chopping onions. He’s my special guy and every time i play i spend a few minutes watching him. My sweet chef

Good adaptations aren't scene by scene, line by line reenactments of a book. It's a completely different medium, that the creators can use to tell the story a different way. Besides budget issues (just writing a scene where a bunch of crazy stuff happens costs about $0, while portraying it on screen is a different matter), the pacing/flow is different in live action stuff than books.

The SPIRIT of the adaptation is what matters. The original PJO movies weren't bad because Annabeth's hair was brown or they didn't say the dialogue straight from the book or dare I argue, because they mixed in elements from further in the series. Rather, it was bad because the vibe was simply far too edgy. Percy was sassy, it did have humor, monsters were fine, but it fell flat on its face because it didn't understand its characters, its world, or its TONE. THE TONE. It was genuinely awful.

Good adaptations expand on the source material without losing the charm of the original. They understand what makes characters tick and what's at the core of the journey, its not about aesthetics or being faithful to the point of being dull and having nothing new to say.

The PJO series is doing that. Having Rick involved probably helped a lot. It has a rocky start, in my opinion. But from the second half of ep. 2 and into ep. 3, I see it gaining its footing.

Five hours into Hades 2 and goddamn, yeah, this is pretty damn fun. Love me the character designs, love me some of the worldbuilding implications, fascinating-as-fuck room/biome design expansions, and some good good love for Artemis!

All in all, 11/10 the infernal beast tore my heart out and i doubt it'll be the last to do so

me: I'm so tired of the hades and persephone retellings, it's become more of a trope than anything at this point and the market is so oversaturated with these "hades and persephone but-" stories that don't even honor the original myth in the slightest

also me when I see people doing the story with disney hades: WOOOOOO!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 GET IT!!!
