I binged read this webtoon entitled "The Portrait" and I love it so much. My favorite is its story flow, where the first chapters tell a very interesting introduction of the story. I love how the succeeding chapters perfectly fit with the introduction until the epilogue. I love how the conflict is not stressful. I love how there's a direct plot, a balance between a plotless story and a plotty one. I love how most of the characters are good people, and all of those deserving people got their happy endings. ❤️ The characters are so lovable, and the subplot for the supporting characters is as interesting as the main plot. There's no boring scene nor a stressful one. The art is so beautiful, and the theme that revolves around the art community is captivating. I even appreciated paintings more than before. I love how the author depicts a story where an old, unmoving, single portrait would have a thousand stories of different people behind it.
This kind of story is not really my cup of tea, but loving the webtoon despite being an opposite of my usual preference, definitely proves how amazing it is!

E’ candore puro.
Come sono i suoi occhi?
Sono oceano che grida.
Come sono i suoi respiri.
Sono sussurri nella mia mente.
Come sono i suoi seni?
Sono boccioli rosei da mordere.
Com'è quando fa l'amore.
È Me.”

senza risparmiarle nessuna indecenza.
La seconda, quando lei in silenzio,
ascolta i suoi pensieri, rubandogli i desideri.

She makes love to him twice...
The first, when he sinks
in it all its perversions,
without sparing her any indecency.
The second, when she in silence,
listen to his thoughts, stealing his desires.

Gioca tranquillo col mio corpo,
Tocca i miei sensi, lasciali parlare,
concediti ogni libertà.
Non ascoltare il mio silenzio,
affonda con tutta la tua austerità i tuoi voleri.
Respira tra i miei umori
e dopo lasciami andare.

vai a letto
con ancora i suoi gemiti nella mente,
e fissi il soffitto
ripensando al suo corpo,
ai suoi baci,
al suo piacere...
al suo amore per te.
Ti dici…
"che cazzo sto facendo".
E allora giuri a te stesso
di non rivederla più…
di lasciarla…
ritornare alla vita di sempre.
Così ti addormenti,
facendoti meno schifo…
Il giorno dopo ti svegli,
vai in bagno
e inizi a farti la barba
ricordando il tuo giuramento.
Ti chini per lavarti il viso,
e quando ti alzi
e ti rivedi allo specchio,
noti che i tuoi occhi
non brillano come la sera prima.
Riprendi quella camicia, l'annusi…
il sangue ti brucia,
il cuore batte forte,
i tuoi istinti
si sentono vivi.
Tu, ti senti vivo,
come non mai…
solo a sentire quell'odore.
Ti vesti,
una mano tra i capelli,
scendi in fretta…
saluti tutti…
entri in macchina,
"pronto"!
E tu
che sorridi
come uno scemo…
sussurri…
