Alexander Hamilton: are you proud of where you come from?

Hmm…. Sometimes. During disasters in Louisiana, yes, I am proud of where I come from because many of us band together to help each other. When it comes to the history of and people supporting the history of where I come from, no, I do not agree with the views of the South. Many people in Louisiana still use the Confederate flag as a “sign of our heritage” or whatever they say, but really that’s just the way you can tell who is racist and who isn’t.

A Winter’s Ball: tell us about your first kiss.

Oh boy, okay. So I dated this guy in my senior year of high school, he was a nice guy but I was his first girlfriend and he was my first boyfriend. Things were awkward. Also, I have ten siblings, and at the time, the two youngest were 8 and 9 and THEY WERE OBNOXIOUS. My boyfriend decided to drop me off at the door and give me a good night kiss. So he kissed me, and the next thing we know, my two youngest siblings are in the window, cheering, clapping, and yelling “Do it again.” Unfortunately, even today, they are still just as obnoxious.

Wait for It:  what’s your motto?

I don’t really have one? But I guess I’ve always loved “If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.”. It’s something I have lived by for years.
