Oh guys I just finished watching Hannibal yesterday and just want to say that this show is soooo great and it deserves a season 4!

And Margot is one of my fav characters! I love Katie even more now!

My laptop broke down and I was forced to watch dvds. I rewatched the first season of Hannibal and oh my God, I’ve noticed sth new. Why. oh, why didn’t Will the dog lover checked his dogs' reactions when he thought he hallucinated hearing an animal TWICE? That’s what pets are for! My cat tells me via body lg that there’s someone in the dark on a winter walk. It’s the most obvious thing to do, checking what pets are feeling when there’s a distressed animal around. Those little assholes wouldn’t be calm if there was an actual animal trapped in the chimney. What the heck, Will, why wouldn’t you just look at them to confirm you’re not crazy People  who experience hallucinations tend to check others’reaction, but I guess there wouldn’t be an episode if Will just acted like a normal pet owner.

Hugh: Neutral recognition. It's like two people who've been- if not lonely but completely unique and felt that way for the whole of their lives and then somebody comes along. I mean, in Hannibal's case it's conscious, right? I think he consciously sees in world this rare thing and Will perhaps unconsciusly the same way and the thing he recognizes in Hannibal is I suppose the thing that he's most secret, the thing he's most scared of in himself. That's a very powerful thing. I always thought about it like you're not the only one great chess player but you're the only one who plays chess in the world, nobody has ever heard about chess and some other person walks in the room and they're carrying a chess board and, you know, your whole world changes.

Mads: There's always one person in the room you want to see you, this one person you really want to wish for could actually see you and that person really puts his eyes on you and I think that was the thing between them. They wanted to be seen from one specific person and that's one beautiful drama.

Bryan: We certainly were driving toward a acknowledgement of that in the final season, I love the scene between Hugh and Gillian filled with nonsense but one point of clarity was that 'is in love with me' and from our very first meeting with Mads, he redefined the character immediately for me because he was like 'he's the devil', he's this thing that is both the world and outside and for me the Devil is pansexual and I think Will Graham is a heterosexual character but sexuality is fluid and I think it would have to be a conversation where we would sit down and try to find what is the most authentic expression of their relationship now and it would be a conversation with Mads and Hugh and what felt true to the characters becase up until the point I wrote the 'is Hannibal in love with me' I was aware of the fancommunity wanting a sexualization between the characters and I was entertained by that greatly and got a kick out of it certainly. But I was also trying to be true to Thomas Harris and to the characters and the mads' declaration of Hannibal as the devil, so I think it's something that I'm definetely interested in and I think it feels like we were on a trajectory and we need to find the most authentic path for that as opposed to forcing something and also because of the nature of what would be happening in season 4 in terms of the grander manipulations that Hannibal has on Will Graham's mind. I don't think Hannibal wants to have sex with Will unless Will were of a right mind and I don' think Will's going to be in a right mind in season4. So like there's- it's a big conversation in logic and hopefully we'll get the opportunity to explore it.

Mads: One thing very important to say about this, Hannibal loves beautiful things, loves beautiful music, beautiful art, beautiful food and beautiful people. Physically, beautiful minds. So it's nothing to do about sexuality, it's just that he loves things that are beautiful.

Bryan: And I think that's root of him being the devil in sort of like there is that appreciation of things that are beauty. There are a variety of people who experience sex and sexuality in completely different ways, ranging from asexual or to pansexual and some of my favourite conversations have been with the asexual members of the fannibal community who feel a lot of stress on society to who function as sexual beings when they don't feel safe in expressing themselves that way. And what was safe for them with Hannibal and Will was that their love was about love purely and not necessarily sexuality which is just sayin that to support everything that mass is saying.

I’m thinking about changing the url to this blog. Rebranding to be more humor-centric since that’s what this blog has really turned into.

What would I do with my current url? Keep it def, since if we ever get a season4 I do plan on making a comeback. I might utilize it for something, idk what yet since I don’t have a lot of inspiration to do anything Hannibal centric during our indefinite dead period. I’d be open to suggestion tho

I could just keep my url as is. Y’all know and love me via drhl, maybe I should keep that strong.
