💎 MICHAEL "MIKE" CHARLESTON 💎

A closeted gay guy on the spectrum (I mean COME ON HE'S INTO ROCKS AND JUST 1 BAND ON LOOP), 19 turning 20 in the very beginning and a geology freshman in University of Detroit!

His history with KISS starts out in late highschool when he found one of their cds randomly at a sale in a record store and became a huge fan. A frequent gig attendee, I mean, as frequent as a junior and senior in HS can be, big fan and obviously simp for one of the frontmen (or rather, not an obvious one to people around him but shhhh)

Jumping a few years later, Michael is going to university a few states over which means he has to find some kind of accomodation.

Yet after a busy day, resigned and struck with the realization that he has to stay at the uni dorm after all, Mike stumbled into the shared room. It reeked of alcohol, cigarette smoke and who knew what else.

"########## huh?" - is the name of his roommate - "God he's such a slob" he thought, slowly placing his bags down in the cleanest spot on the floor. This is gonna be his daily reality for the next four years and he couldn't be happier, sarcastically speaking.

Yet, there's something that's still keeping him sane.

For years, he's heard of the "the Star of America" being stored in the Natural History Museum of Detroit. It was a very unique piece, found nowhere else on Earth.

The star in question was a... black diamond, rumoured to always cast a purplish shadow and glimmer in the moonlight, with the shade of the shimmer slightly altering according to the sound of music playing near it. A beautiful gem which, despite being studied numerous times, seems to be nothing but a slightly imperfect diamond with bits of graphite found in its structure.

Some theorize about it being a piece of a meteorite that landed on Earth, some claim it to be a gift from ancient gods, while others decide to outright state it's nothing but a mere carbonado polished so much it looks expensive and makes the city money.

This beauty, a rock so unique it's being protected by the best possible guards, best security systems 24/7 every day and night is on Mike's mind almost all the time, his own Roman Empire.

And for some reason, the closer he is to seeing it in person, the more he wants to just...

take it for himself.

Unfortunately, soon he'll realize he is the only one looking for it and things are about to get nasty any moment.

...Or will they?

Yes, it's all in Detroit because of "Detroit Rock City"

Yes, the lore's heavily inspired by "Scooby-Doo! and KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery"

And yes, in this story/AU, the og KISS members (so Paul, Gene, Ace & Peter) along with Eric, Vinnie, Bruce, Eric & Tommy do know each other and are on fairly good terms

Also here I decided to make Tommy Ace's cousin due to the Spaceman shenanigans (trust me, this will get important)

And here, Bruce & Mike are the only humans (along with Mark, as in Mark St. John, but his plot is kinda unrelated to the main stuff and is more of a side plot)

Okay so, a funny just happened

I tapped into gacha life 2 right? Right!

Checked stuff around

AND I FINALLY MANAGED TO PUT THE MIDDLE DESIGN OF MICHAEL TOGETHER (btw I love making lil silhouette tests; this one kinda shows how he acts during each of these times)

I had his roadie design (one on the right) almost as long as his main one (one on the left; done & redone on this phone I mean)

BUT THE MIDDLE ONE (his "The Diamond" criminal one) WAS SUCH A PAIN IN THE ASS TO PUT TOGETHER BUT NOW I GOT IT

MEANING I GOT ALL 3

From the right:

1) his basic Michael design

2) his criminal undercover "The Diamond" design

3) and his roadie Mike design

There may/will be more but I doubt I'll get to put them all together in gacha so we'll see

Also yes I love his roadie design probably the most it's so wacky tacky with plenty elements but shhhh

Also yes, the starry element might be a hint at something but it might also be the opposite of what you may got in mind :3c

It's time to kickstart my mini ocposting titled Indigoposting

Why not Aiposting? Because it sounds like AIposting 💀

And why not Shinozakiposting? Because it's too damn long

ANYWAYS

I'll start out with first explaining the basics for all 13 of Ais:

🔶 Their names are all the same (Ai Shinozaki, with "Ai" standing for a few things but here it's "indigo", and "Shinozaki" being a combo of "dwarf bamboo" and "cape"/"peninsula", which is a very loose reference to how the main 3 Ais' bankai works)

🔶 Their hair color and eye color is the exact same

🔶 Almost all of them besides Human!Ai & Akademi!Ai wear off shoulder sleeves & shoes with a heel (although in their free time, they do wear off-shoulder sleeves and elevated shoes)

🔶 And all of them wear some kind of eyewear (yes, even Spirit!Ai, even if it's unconventional)

🔶 Besides Human!Ai and Bount!Ai, all of them have some form of space manipulation/warping, although done differently, working differently and with different levels of strength

🔶 All of them have a habit of counting to keep themselves calm yet done differently and with different intensity (e.g. Muken!Ai does that almost all the time and by murmuring and counting on one of her hands, while Espada!Ai only after her resurreccion is being overpowered and does so in her head)

🔶 They're all autistic (but then again, which of my ocs isn't)

🔶 And they're all queer (BUT not in the same way, also which of my characters isn't lol)

🔶 Their personalities do vary and very much so (even the Akademi!Ai -> Reaper!Ai -> 0!Ai line, although they are the closest to each other in that department)

🔶 I've already mentioned the -dere/-gire types and as I'll get into each of them, I'll state which one matches which

Also, if any of them sound like Mary Sue's, which I really try my ocs to never come off as even with some crazy ass powers/lives, then pls tell me ":3

I'M SO PROUD OF HOW THEY ALL TURNED OUT, THEIR NEW LOOKS ARE BETTER THAN MY OGS OR WERE LEFT UNTOUCHED IF THEY WERE PEAK ALREADY

BUT

since I don't want this to be just a silhouette reveal, let me drop some fun facts about them x3

🔸 while this is a loose concept, if I had to put them in some sort of a timeline and moments when the AUs have split, it'd look something like that:

Which means that Akademi!Ai, Shinigami!Ai, Visored!Ai, Deserter!Ai, Muken!Ai & Squad 0!Ai are the closest in powers (a.k.a how their shikai & bankai works), while the rest is still tied but in a way looser way :3

🔸 Each Ai has a -dere or a -gire type tied to them but more in a "them simplified" way and aren't actually based on these

🔸 The very first one was actually Muken!Ai but I loved her bankai and her design, that next one came Squad 0!Ai

🔸 Then came all of them up to Quincy!Ai, until I decided to just create all "anime canon" (including filler) and my own idea plus different time periods, so that's why there's a whopping 13 of them

🔸 The reason why Ai(s) came into existence in the first place was because I got an idea for a dope bankai and needed an oc on cai to fight Gremmy, so I glued these two together and got (Muken!)Ai

🔸 Although at this point, Squad 0!Ai has the most extensive lore (as it's Akademi!Ai + Shinigami!Ai & her own lore combined), while Bount!Ai has the least

🔸 My fav Ai design is definitely Squad 0!Ai and I don't have my least fav one (unless forms count, then Vollstandig_Quincy!Ai is one because I really can't seem to get it right whatsoever)

🔸 But personality-wise, I'm torn between Quincy!Ai's and Fullbringer!Ai

🔸 all shortenings of the _!Ais:

Squad 0!Ai -> Squad!Ai or 0!Ai

Muken!Ai -> ❌
