Just a little 'something' since it's June 14 aka John Sheppard's birthday.
A very merry happy birthday to an awesome friend to me and father to my goddaughter, John!! Hope you are having an awesome day and receiving love from the ones you love most! 💕🥳
I went to a John Lennon birthday celebration concert last night! Over 2 shows the band played 83 songs for what would have been John’s 83rd birthday.
I knew this performer was good Beatle people when he said: "Name someone cooler than John Lennon in 1966. You can't."
And by the fact he played "You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)." And he introduced it by saying, "John Lennon was a pretty silly guy. This may be his silliest song."
IMAGINE. ‘Imagine’ is a song conceived in my head without melody. The first verse came to me very quickly in the form of a childlike street chant. The piano intro I’ve had hanging around in my head for a few years – the chords and melody followed naturally from this.
If you can imagine a world of peace; if you can imagine a world with no denominations of religion – not without religion, whatever religion is, but without this divisive ‘My god is bigger than your god’ business; then if you can imagine the possibility, then it can be true. - John Lennon
