The Telugu movie DJ  starring Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde has crossed 100 million views on YouTube.  The action drama DJ aka Duvvada Jagannatham  has set a historical record to achieve these numbers.

DJ aka Duvvada Jagannatham hit the silver screens  on 23rd June 2017 and went on to collect over Rs. 115 crores at the box office. Made on a budget of about Rs 50 crores, the makers of the film were happy over its success at the box office. Further, Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer DJ is a big hit in YouTube and this is now creating a big buzz.

Helmed  by Harish Shankar, the action and  comedy film stars Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde as the lead pair and it also has Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Murali Sharma, and Subbaraju in the supporting roles. Devi Sri Prasad has set the tunes for the songs and background score and the cinematography was handled by Ayananka Bose and Sushil Choudhary with Chota K Prasad handled the editing department. The film DJ was produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.

The Akkineni hero Naga Chaitanya’s previous outings ended up as debacles at the box office and he has pinned all his hopes on this film.  The movie teaser and trailer have received a huge response from the audience among the social media.  The film has finally hit the Theatres amidst of expectations and let’s see how it turned out to be. Story:  Purna (Naga Chaitanya) is a happy go middle-class guy and who wants to be a cricketer. He falls in love with a Navy officer’s (Ashutosh Rana) daughter Anshu (Divyansha Kaushik), when everything is going good unwanted circumstances make Poorna and Anshu separation. Poorna went to depression after the love breaks up and with the force of family and friends, He is forced to marry Sharavani (Samantha) as he was her childhood crush, but their marital life is not going smooth and he lives in memories of Anshu. How will Purna change for the better Shravani? Forms rest of the story of the film. Performances: Naga Chaitanya has delivered his career-best performance as Purna. He has two different shades in his role – one essaying a teenager role in first half and in second half he sports a middleman look with bearded get up, In both the roles Chaitanya did fabulous job. As usual Samantha steals the show and she looks stunning in this film, she is completely impressive with her body language, eyes in sync with her role and especially in the emotional scenes. Audience will fall in love with her character. Debutante Divyansha Kaushik looks beautiful and impressive with her performance. Other Talented actors like Rao Ramesh, Posani, Subbaraju, and Sudarshan are impressive in their given roles. Analysis: The movie First half deals with romance and fights while the second half narration turns emotional and sluggish at times.   The movie has a very ordinary story but the film has many feel good moments, which makes it beautifully works. The movie director Siva Nirvana, who made his directorial debut with sensitive emotional film- Ninnu Kori, He has once again chosen the same plot as left heartbroken and gets married, Though He became successful in narrating the story realistically, There is a few emotional scenes have been captured well. Although the movie is a bit cinematic, the final act in Majili is nice. The movie dialogues are good. The film's biggest problem is its slow pace the movie Songs composed by Gopi Sundar is good and Back Ground Composed by SS Thaman has done fantastic job. The movie cinematography by Vishnu Sharma is nice and editing could be better it looks slow at times. The film was mostly shot in Vizag, raw and rustic look was captured successfully. The movie production values of Shine Screen are Rich. Plus Points: Naga Chaitanya and Samantha PerformanceEmotional ScenesBack Ground Music Minus Points: Predictable StorySlow Pace Verdict: All in all Majili is an honest portrayal of relationships with effective dialogues and Brilliant Performances. The movie will be liked by the family audience and a decent one time watch for Youth audiences. On February 4, the filmmakers revealed the title poster of this flick and we now have it that the title is Most Eligible Bachelor. Akhil Akkineni tweeted, "Stepping forward as #MostEligibleBachelor. Nagarjuna and Venkatesh for ‘Majili’ Pre-Release Event!

Akkineni Nagarjuna and ‘Victory’ Venkatesh are going to grace the pre-release event of ‘Majili.’

Starring Naga Chaitanya, Samantha and Divyansha Kaushik in the lead roles, the film is being directed by Shiva Nirvana.

The pre-release event is scheduled on March 31st at JRC Conventions in Filmnagar, Hyderabad.

The theatrical trailer will also be unveiled at this event.

Shot on the backdrop of Vizag, ‘Majili’ is an emotional romantic entertainer and comes with the caption “There is Love… There is Pain..”

The response to teaser and songs is good so far. Gopi Sundar has composed music for the film,

Jagannadham or DJ Review Movie director: Harish Shankar Cast: Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde, Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh,....... When we buy a ticket for an Allu Arjun film, we known what we sign up for a popcorn entertainer, nothing more or nothing less. And the DJ team had promised that the ‘audience will have a blast’ in the theatre. A misfit, rebellious teenager from the Brahmin community, Duvvada Jagannadham, guns down five goons who try to kill an honest cop at a deserted public place. Without thinking twice, the same kid empties the remaining bullets into a rape accused at the police station from the same gun that he used to kill five bad people earlier that day. It was just the beginning of a series of killings that were about to follow. The honest cop, played by Murali Sharma, sees a warrior in the boy and lets him continue the killings with impunity to uphold justice and punish the wrongdoers so that he can sleep peacefully at night. About 15 minutes into the film, we are introduced to now adult Duvvada Jagannadham (played by Allu Arjun) one of the most loved youngsters in his community. A Brahmin youngster, who has mastered the Vedas and mantras, takes care of his family and its business that is catering services, respects elder, abides by the law (in the day) and keep preaching the right messages to the civil society. He is the ideal son and citizen when he is around his family members. When he steps away, his body and language completely change and he goes by the name DJ, a legend of sorts among the criminals. Any criminal who has the misfortune to see in person means that he has lived his last day on the earth. In simple words, he is a vigilante. But, director Harish Shankar, who has also written the film, has failed to give a solid reason to justify what drives a teenager to kill criminals in cold blood and continue doing so for years. It seems like he overlooked the necessity of logic while writing this film, hoping that the fans would accept Allu Arjun anyway and without questioning. DJ managed to capture the interest of the audience when the filmmakers released the teaser showing Allu in a non-glamorous avatar as a Brahmin boy. And the director has managed to milk that role in the film to the hilt to enthrall the audience. In a scene, DJ introduces himself to a group of goons, before killing them in style as the most interesting and entertaining character. But, actually, it is his Duvvada Jagannadham character that keeps the audience engaged throughout the film. His mannerism and dialogues draw some genuine laughs from the audience. When it comes to DJ, let’s say we have seen Allu playing that role in many films under various names in the past. Duvvada Jagannadham’s role is rather the only surprise in this regular run-of-the-mill commercial entertainer. Harish, meanwhile, has packed some punch into the screenplay of the film keeping hard-core Allu Arjun fans in mind. Allu’s performance is the mainstay. While we expected Vennela Kishore to deliver some rib-tickling comedy, his character and jokes fall flat. Allu excels in the comedy in the film too. It looks like the director has poured all the interesting ideas into one character and made DJ alias Duvvada Jagannadham Pooja Hegde has convincingly done the given job that is to look stunning in every frame of the film. Especially, she looks ravishing in all the song sequences. Rao Ramesh’s character that initially comes across as a clever antagonist, has been compromised just to benefit the DJ character. No other performances stand out in the film except Allu Arjun’s. It is a commercial entertainer made by the book and it works to some extent. And yes, composer Devi Sri Prasad’s music is a big plus and dance choreography is just the icing on the cake. In simple words DJ should be an entertainer for Allu Arjun fans & youths.

It is revealed that Pooja Hegde is daughter of Posani, a politician. 

Posani arranges an alliance with Subbaraju but after meeting him, she understands that she is actually in love with Duvvada Jagannadham.

Now comes the terrific duet "Asmaika". It is beautifully shot in Abu Dhabi.
