I just decided not to do two knitted gifts for people for their babies this summer. Didn't cast on. Great choice. Doing less.

Completely forgot I had a housewarming this weekend. Can I learn a new hobby by Saturday to make the gift I planned?

I have so much to do and I don't know if it is genuine or harleymonster does too much.
I have to declutter, clean and tidy my house, and maintain it.
I have to declutter my mother's, before she gets any sicker.
I need my brother to sort himself out so I can clear his stuff out of my house.
I need to learn how to stop being a people pleaser and use my words so I can get help around the house and not be swamped all the time.
It's just a lot, like years worth of tasks, and I'm at a loss at where to start/continue and half of it I'm at the (un)mercy of other people so like hell will it ever get done.

Finally stopped worrying about making the wrong decision re getting my brother a birthday present. Ordered it yesterday evening and surprising it's arrived this morning. I can somewhat relax now.
Just need to finish this crochet for my niece and I think I'll just give her some cash for her birthday too. Apparently she's becoming very teenager and not really doing arty stuff now so I think letting her choose her own present would be better.
Significantly less stressed now, but I will still completely forget and be planning on having to have my phone on loud tomorrow to receive this package.

Looking at knitting a pattern with 2-6 inches of positive ease, so surely surely surely that means I don't have to gauge swatch right? Because 2-6 inches positive ease! (never mind the fact I'm planning on knitting it on a 3 week from today deadline and with an unknown yarn weight... 👀)
