ok disregarding actual mute ocs (honey) or deaf ones that don't speak (rinn) i have a good answer and a bad answer for this one !

the better one is leah !! <3 selectively mute for the most part unless she really wants to infodump abt smth (usually in the case of people around her passing information she knows is false & can't help but correct them lol) but on all other accounts she is the epitome of [quiet kid that gets put in the cage with cheetahs to make them bond] lol she is such a counterforce for both noah (terminally anxious) and linn (terminally bored) to bounce off of. + belle ofc is the culmination of it with her restless nature. leah loves to get dragged along by outside forces so much requires so little effort on her end <3

though while she is physically quiet, she is actually vry vry animated and will make herself understood with gestures and pulling/pushing etc and becomes extremely obnoxious if she doesn't get what she wants/somebody does not understand her methods of communication rip. so unfortunately the worse but possibly more correct answer for this here is.......... gray,, guy who genuinely just does not talk does not want to talk, paragon of apathy. involving him in a conversation is not even like pulling teeth it's more like digging a bone from your skin there is nothing you can say that will pique his interest (VERY few exceptions) and even then you're more likely to spark aggression or discontent than have a regular fkcin human exchange. don't bother bc it's better for everyone involved h
