This is my favourite cover of Tera Ghata and one of my favourite tracks ever and I still can't believe they're from Uzbekistan. Someone fluent in Hindi tell me if you can detect an accent because I can't. They've also transformed the song into one of the most danceable tunes ever. If you say it doesn't get your toes tapping I don't believe you.

Uzbekistan Musical Group Havas Won Hearts at AAFT

Noida: What a presentation, what a lively music, what an energy, I think it could have never been better than this. the performance of Havas Guruhi from Uzbekistan won the heart of every one present here,” said Sandeep Marwah President AAFT School of Performing Arts after attending the performance at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. And handing over the certificates of membership to the complete team from Uzbekistan.
HAVAS GURUHI, meaning White Envy, is a Uzbekistani music group composed of seven members of the Ermatov family who are popularly known for singing Indian songs. The group was founded by a couple, Rustam and his wife Matluba, who are the director and producer of the group respectively.
The singers and musicians of the band are their four children. The eldest child, a son named Khakhramon is the winner of Uzbekistan’s Nihol award. The second child is a daughter named Shakhnoza. The third child is a son named Dostonbek. The fourth and youngest child is a daughter named Robiya. Nilufar, the wife of eldest son Khakhramon, is a former TV anchor and the present public relations officer of their band.
The event was inaugurated by Thabang Linus Kholumo the Charge d’ Affairs of Kingdom of Lesotho, Anastasiya Vorakh Counsellor of Embassy of Belarus, Secretary General of England base organization AASGON Brijesh Mathur, and Spiritual Researcher Dr. C.K. Bhardhwaj. The musical recital was attended by AAFT Students and large number of music lovers from Delhi & NCR.
The event was designed by IUFCF- Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum of ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. It was supported by Asian Unity Alliance, WPDRF-World Peace Development and Research Foundation and AAFT School of Performing Arts. H.E. Dilshad Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India congratulated and send his best wishes to Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Electrifying Performance at AAFT by HAVAS Group from Uzbekistan

Noida: AAFT in association with Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum organised a powerful musical extravaganza by a popular musical group HAVAS from Uzbekistan for the students of AAFT and members of ICMEI at Marwah Studios Film City Noida inaugurated by H.E. Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India.
“This is a wonderful example of Indo Uzbekistan Relations where a team from Uzbekistan singing Hindi numbers from Indian films. There cannot be better example of development of art and culture of both the countries together,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT & ICMEI in a jam packed auditorium where audience was anxiously waiting for the musicians to start the show.
“We are happy that we have a very strong and powerful platform of AAFT and ICMEI to start our shows in India. We are honoured to be here to perform for such a energetic audience,” said Rustam leader of the group from Uzbekistan.
“These kind of programs add a lot to the development and maintaining of relationship between the two countries. We all love India and Indian Films. The impact of Indian cinema can be seen and heard from the music of HAVAS. Enjoy both Indian and Uzebeki music,” said H.E. Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honoured all the members of the group with the membership of Indo Uzbekistan Film and Cultural Forum. The event was supported by Embassy of Uzbekistan in India and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. New members of IUFCF were also inducted on the same day.
