Marcel was resting against the fountain in the courtyard of the Mikaelson compound when a bunch of wolves decided to get bold. They didn't like that Hayley, who was supposed to lead them, was constantly hanging around with the Mikaelsons, and some had voiced their opinion that the fact that she had a child with one of them disgusted them. Marcel may have had his grievances with the Mikaelsons, which came and went, but he wasn't about to let that stand. So he fought them and killed a few as it was a kill or be killed situation, but he didn't come out of this unscathed as he had werewolf venom in him and he would surely die; he wasn't fully aware of his surroundings when he heard quicken steps and soon saw Hope going in and out of focus. When asked what happened, he took a moment to answer. "Apparently, some of the wolves are fed up with your mother and were planning to try and kill her, and though I know your mother would have no problem putting them in their place, I'm not one for those who betray their loyalty, so we may have had some disagreement and the next thing you know a full brawl, they made sure I wouldn't live beyond tonight, that's for sure."

Things had been rocky between the heretic and the tribrid. Were they together or not because as far as Lizzie knew.. Okay no she had no idea what they were at this point. Confessing her love to Hope didn't really go as planned, first time drunk and she rejected her and then the second time sober and she rejected her. The blonde cannot take much more rejections at this point. Yet she was grateful that the other took her and her daughter in the moment she just had such a breaking point in her life. On one night she got a text and knowing her daughter was asleep, the blonde left and went to the bar. was it the best idea to do something like that? Absolutely not, was it really a Lizzie thing to do? Oh yes. She didn't let Hope know where she was, even turned off her phone at some point.

The next morning she woke up and looked besides her, turning on her phone to see she had lots of missed calls from Hope and not just Hope also Josie for some reason. Rolling her eyes as she then got up and left the place she had spent the night, like she would let anyone know that she met up with Sebastian and then one thing led to another. It's not like he could get her pregnant again, when she arrived back home or can she even call it home. It kind of is right.

She hadn't even set foot for a second or the blonde felt two eyes looking at her and she knows it's Hope. Her gaze went up to look at the tribrid. "Don't look at me like that, you give me a look if I did something horrible."

marlene was a born witch to a single mother who found love when her daughter was five. it wasn't until marlene was fourteen that she was told her stepfather was a vampire but at that time she loved him as a father so she had no problem with it and kept it a secret from their family coven. unknowing to them, her father's former vampire pack was still furious about him abandoning them that they had been scouring the states for years trying to find them. when they did, it alarmed hunters in the surrounding area. when they needed help they were only helped by the hunters with the coven taking a step back because they saw being with a vampire as betrayal. marlene was beaten bad but she kept her vampire bite from the hunters until they were gone. she and her immediate family moved days later with marlene still having witch powers but also with fangs now too.
