Spider-Man origin remix where Peter gets bitten but it immediately goes 100 and after a day of having his powers. He starts thinking he can get the hang of this and then he starts turning into Man-Spider and has to figure out how to get Curt to help him while keeping his identity secret.

What do the uncles think of JJJ? I'm surprised Peter didn't have to talk any of them (re: Electro, Doc Ock & Rhino) out of terrorizing the Daily Bugle to scare the crap outta him after badmouthing Spiderman.

so as before, montana and quentin can see the good of Jameson, but also think he's a bit annoying, ox doesn't watch that news channel and Dan is not a fan but still sorta follows the policy of its peters life, peter can ask for it to get handled. if its life threatening hell step in.

O'hirn wants to do something but also wants to remain out of jail so its a little hard to watch the news he used to enjoy (when he didn't know peter was spidey, he got a lot of joy out of spiderman getting bested by someone; the press)

Flint gets that there will always be nay sayers, even if everything is done perfectly. He tries to see what is being said to counteract it a bit with what he says to peter. oddly; and no one knows why; the bugle is really nice about sandman being a hero?? who knows why really. Peter says its cause of all the collateral damage sandy has prevented.

Electro was the closest to blowing up the Bugle. he was stopped and convinced away from it, but if he see jjj it might be on sight.

ock is gone to ground mostly in the fic rn. but uses jjj to keep up with everyone (along with some texting with quentin) he has distaste for how hyperbolic the spidey news is but aside from the theories has to admit it is some of the most accurate.

toomes is just glad crimson curse seems to be mostly left alone in the new cycle. the lack of photos helps a lot on that front.

Also there was a bit in the fic where peter talks about how he sees JJJ and my explanation for why nothing has gone down on that front, because peter keeps stopping his uncles for this reason:

He escaped the transport on the way to prison. He knows I'm Spider-Man. It's part of the reason there was a credit change for the Bugles’ pictures. That and Rhino's break-in."

"Wait. Time out. You used your real name and photographed yourself as Spider-Man for the paper? For Jameson's paper? The man that rants about Spider-Man being a menace?"

Montana says, wondering just how little self-preservation this kid has. Peter leans back with a red face.

"Uhh. Yes? Jameson keeps me honest, you know. Reminds me I can do better. And he's a good guy. Deep down. But I use a fake name now. Much less risky."

"You're insane."

Montana tells him in a flat voice and Quentin starts cackling. Peter gives an embarrassed smile.

"It wasn't the smartest plan to get my name published jointly with pics of Spider-Man. But I'm hoping Rhino has forgotten. And hopefully, everyone else forgets too."
