The other thing about LWJ using the silence spell on JL (aside from it being an incredibly shitty move tbqh) is that basic classroom management wisdom states that it you enter a power struggle with a child, you have already lost.

Ergo! if the only way LWJ could think of to make this one singular adolescent to be quiet was to bring down a silence spell, then that is not a ~sick burn~ but does in fact mean Jin Ling wins the altercation by default.
