When the hardcore RP DM asks if you can do a one on one session for something your character does secretly and you don’t realize that the RP starts with the session, not when the voice acting starts.

#DnD #dungeons and dragons #my character was making a pact with a dark entity #and my DM and I were elaborating on what functions and abilities to give my guy so his vampirism isn’t sabotaging #two big things on my dream vamp list were sexy nibbles and the ability to turn into a Honduran white bat #and #well #the dark entity’s whole thing is hooks be it butcher hooks or fishing hooks #so E’jil has 2 barbed fishing hook-esque fangs that come out from the gums above his incisors #and he does turn into a bat #but he doesn’t take the actual size #so instead of being able to chill on peoples shoulders and in their pockets #he is simply a 6’1’ Honduran white bat #the RP simply decided how the deal was made #and since neither me or E’jil know shit about legal stuff #we got played #hard #we have an amazing DM #my boy has so much angst now #and we (along with another player) have 2 more angst moments planned #my DM hyped me up so much for my vampire and then he’s so fucked up #angst is so fun to RP
