I really actually don't have a screenie of their 7th and LAST you two child but here is Summer pregnant with her familiar out. Montegue is his name he is Also a werewolf. They had this baby without my say so because I forgot about the sims new built in story progression and didn't turn it off for their house. The pink haired woman in the corner is Nori, Benvolio's... situationship

So it was Mercutio, Verona, Rosaline, Tybalt and Benvolio, Juliet, Montegue. They have a ratio of 4:3 boys to girls and 5:2 werewolf to witch tough break on Summer's genes. And I should say for 11 generations Summer's family had black hair then her mama gets with one red haired man and suddenly the family gives up.

Summer and Romeo gonna be down bad for each other for the rest of eternity !

misery update :

she got enough money to move to a bigger apartment (she did this mostly because the mailbox is buggy so i have to do some tests. finally resolved this by downloading tool mod to replace the mailbox and replacing it with a new one) and its still very bare with sparse decorations, but she got more space with more windows and i think she's starting to lose her fear of crowds. doesnt help that she's financially stable enough to let go and enjoy some down time. and playing with autonomy on, i absolutely notice how she likes to empty the trash and clean up on her own. this is unprecedented. she used to love letting her place rot with dust bunnies that turns into filth fiends. i guess deep down she's just depressed, not lazy.

when it comes to social life, she made at least two people from online chats. one had a crush on her but it quickly fizzled out and he's just friends now. her neighbors love to pester her, asking lets hang out, lets hang out! i think the game bugged out and did two! neighborhood wagon event! her neighbor is THAT persistent. even her enemy, one of the guy who broke into her house, suddenly ask her to go out on a date. they still very much dislike each other.

given that she has multiple people asking her to go outside and her improvements in skills, money, and moods, i think its time she did a trial run of existing in a public space.

as soon as she arrived, in her pajamas btw, misery kicks a nearby trash can and starts an argument with him. this is all autonomous. she's tense from all the crowd. there's a paparazzi present to take pics of a more famous sim. so i escalated it by making her fight her date, treats the waitress like trash, fight the paparazzi, and left the scene.

so, one step forward one step back. i think she will not leave the house for quite a long time after this experience. oh well, watching tv and playing video games until she fall asleep isnt so much horrible after all.

the next morning, her neighbor come ask to hangout. and she was flirty because i made her watch rom com films. there is an option to kiss the hand of this basically a stranger. i did it. and instantly locked him out of the apartment. he is smitten. he probably thinks she's mysterious and alluring. no dude, she's socially inept. and then i made her check her fan mails. someone wrote "just watching you living your best life" dude she fought two people last night.

The Joy of Life Challenge S3 - #9

Odelia spent the next morning and early afternoon diving into research. She is serious about Vlad's deal, and wants to prove it to him, but also to herself. She wants to prove that her decision isn't just a rash teenage decision, and learn even the gory, excruciating parts of being a vampire to see if it is what she truly wants.

Vlad chilling, smoking a cigar, as he's wondering whether she will crumble when she learns more about vampires, or if she will truly commit to being one...

Meanwhile, having a human in the mansion is very convientient for a vampire..

Viktor of course asked her, and she was happy to help him out.

The second night, Gethin accompanies Odelia while she sleeps. I can't tell if it's to keep an eye on her, or maybe protect her from Vlad's thirst, or maybe he is actually coming around to liking her! Who knows!

The next morning, Odelia is officially a high school dropout.

But everything's okay in Odelia's eyes, because she won't need human high school anytime soon.

Not to mention, she has the love of her life here, what else would she need?

Later that evening, Odelia, Viktor and Gethin were having a lovely chat in the kitchen.

And Vlad decides to autonomously ask Odelia if he can feed from her, too...

She immediately says no, as she doesn't really trust him enough to do that.

The next day, Viktor even goes as far as to ask Odelia to drink from her neck.

She agrees. She really does trust him, huh? It could be very easy for a vampire to lose control.

Odelia continues to study vampire lore in the reading room/library.

A few days later, it is finally time for Odelia to make her decision. The WHOLE day, Viktor was very off with her. Wasn't kissing her as much, and being mean...er.

He is actually considering the fact that she may go home, leave him, and grow old as a human without him....

Odelia tells him, just as his father is about to walk through the door, awaiting a decision, that she would love to be a vampire, and spend (quite literally) eternity with him.

(BTW I have an automatic height slider mod which assigned Odelia to be tiny, and Viktor to be tall AF, so their kisses look a lil awkward rn lmaooo.)

Vlad finally opens the door.

And as happily listens in, Odelia informs Vladislaus that she would adore to be a vampire, and be turned by no one other than Viktor himself.

Right as Odelia is turning into a vampire, she gets a call from her mother asking her basically to come home...

But Odelia's phone is silenced, in fact she is planning on burning it and never turning back to her old life. It's sad, and she will miss her parents, but right now, this is what she wants.

So, the turning session starts.

First, Viktor drinks her blood, so it's in his sytem.

Then, he offers her his blood, so it's in her system, and she can finally begin to turn...

Odelia feels a slight change already. And she thanks Viktor for doing this for her.

As Vlad accompanies the ceremony with a violin solo, I guess. lmfao.

Odelia can't help but make jokes, she is ecstatic to be turning into a vampire!!

Echo in Time: The story about the story

Emmaline’s origin story came out like a historical romance novel, but I want to come clean that she and Nash did the whole thing on their own.

When I used StoryProgression to rapid populate the world, I think three households got the last name Weaver. Apparently even when you set it to always use name list for immigrants, it uses a lot of last names from the household bin. With a couple of simself households and Emmaline, there were plenty of Weavers.

I renamed two of the households but kept one, since it made sense for backstory, and moved Emmaline in to start out. I seeded the town with a bunch of downloaded simalikes for interesting genetics, and I wanted Emmaline to marry one for the same reason. I liked the face of John Burrows (who is a simalike of John Borrowman btw) best and decided that the kickoff for the challenge would be Emmaline’s aunt and uncle marrying her off to him to get her out of the household. Then their actual relationship would go however it went.

But then Emmaline ran into Nash and they fell all over each other immediately. Most of their interactions were autonomous, including the dip kiss after the wedding. Nash is a simalike of Jason Momoa as Khal Drogo. Ha!

Also, I’m not trying to make Nash into some kind of feminist voice from modern times. One of his traits is Rebellious, so I figured he’d be a counter-culture kind of guy. Also, he didn’t come to the church party where Emmaline was introduced around.

My favorite times in the Sims are when they tell the story and I just report on it.

Thoughts on Miraculous New York: United Heroez

Warning: Spoilers! I am back! Also, this is my 700th post, so yay!

The new intro is so cool! I stan! Will it be the same for the Miraculous World Specials (ie. Shanghai)??

Mr. Pigeon? Akumatized for the 51st tims?!?!?!?! I thought he moved on from pigeons and went with rats?!?! (Timetagger anyone????)

The Spacesuits! So cool! (By the way, its the purple potion).

Ladybug and Chat Noir are very autonomous, trust connected from their bond, and super efficient! (You will see where this comes into play later on.) Ladybug could have not gotten a better partner than Chat and she says this herself.

The rose scene after defeating Mr. Pigeon! I loved it so much and its better than expected!

Oh Marinette, didn't you say you have moved on from Adrien? I think her heart has yet to catch up with her brain, which takes time. Time will tell...

Tikki is visibly annoyed with Marinette saying she will move on and yet act like she still has a crush on Adrien. First of all, that is the fandom's mood. Second of all, be patient. Time will tell...

The sock puppet film was adorable. And apparently famous in NY amongst the Queens students (thank you Zag for including another NYC borough!)

Miss Bustier is pregnant?!?!? Wait...IS SHE IS MARRIED?!?!?!? Whether she is married or is seeing someone, this is still shocking (unless her prefix in the French version is Mrs.)

Poor Mrs. Mendeleiev. The class was less than satisfied with her being their chaperone. I know she is not the fun teacher, but she still has feelings and I know she is a nice person. People tend to judge and despise teachers based on them being fun or not, which is unfair. But karma comes after the class since throughout the trip, she becomes the teacher they think she is. What? She could have been fun.

Lila was not welcome in New York to begin with. At least she won't be causing any problems on the trip (though I wish she went to Antarctica).

Marinette has done more for Adrien in this episode than in all three seasons when she promised him that she will find a way to convince Gabriel to go to New York. I guess her deciding that he is "just a friend" has allowed her to do more for him than beforehand.

But she still collects pictures of him, so we will keep quotations on "friend". Or we need to give her a break (Alya I am looking at you). We'll see as we go on.

I am happy Nathalie is alive, though I am not happy with the fact that she showed Gabriel the Eagle Talon Miraculous. And he plans to go to New York. And that this is the only reason he lets Adrien go to NY.

Speaking of which, the Miracu-class showed up to his place, with Marinette being the spokesperson to yell at Gabriel Agreste's freaking face. Good for you Marinette for fighting against Gabriel. Though you did not have to put up a long fight, which while shocking, is also worrisome.

Adrien was understandably sad to not be able to go to NY. Kagami seems happy about it though. Maybe too happy...

Yes, I know that Kagami and Adrien are potentially dating (Battle of the Miraculous ending anyone? *sobs in Adrienette stan*), but it still pains my Adrienette stan heart though when she kissed him.

Of course Chat Noir will be sad to see Ladybug go. But she brings this cute cat buzzer and seeing him play with the buzzer was adorable. Ladynoir anyone?

Adrien is stuck with this dilemma: NY or Ladybug? Poor sunshine boy was shocked to hear this news. He initially chose Ladybug and wanted to stay and alert Ladybug about the new situation, but Plagg was like "FREEDOM! GO AFTER IT! BESIDES, YOU CAN USE YOUR SPACESUIT TO RETURN TO PARIS IN THE EVENT OF AN AKUMA!" Seemed like a good plan...initially. (Plagg, I am after you...sorta).

Of course Marinette will miss the bus, but Luka?!?! They either trying to remind me of Miracle Queen or Luka is superhuman for being able to show up to her place and peddle so fast that they caught up with the bus. Pains my Adrienette heart once again to see her kiss him, but he does have a point about her needing some clarity in NY.

Then we have the plane scene. Poor Marinette was panicking over sitting next to Adrien (really now universe?!). There was more to the scene: from the AC trouble to the seat reclining at the wrong time to Adrien placing the luggage in the compartment (not in that order exactly). It was somewhat cringeworthy then seeing that Marinette went to swap seats with Mrs. Mendeleive (though she only did it when Alix whined).

Note to self: DO NOT SIT NEXT TO MR. DAMOCLES IN AN EIGHT HOUR FLIGHT. He is not very conscious about personal space as he took over Marinette's seat when he was asleep and woke Marinette up. And sleeping with a bucket of popcorn? Really?

If anyone has ever been on a plane, turbulence is common, and Marinette's experience with the Bathroom is very relatable. That's why I only go in an emergency.

Adrienette watching a sunrise! (Or sunset? They are not too clear on this, especially since they arrive at the hotel at night, but everyone was asleep on the plane). And get this: Adrien complimenting Marinette and hugging her tightly! (Just a friend now, huh sunshine boy?)

Alya and Nino are a mood when they say that they love their friends, but they wish that they could express their love to each other (Operation: New York).

Alya, did you really have to tell Marinette that NY is the city of love? Thank you for making her feel even nervous.

TechnoPirate and the United Heroez everyone! (By the way, Alya needs a chill pill because she was WAY too excited to be rescued by the United Heroez. And the Owl Mr. Damocles? Really?!)

Note to everyone who does not live in NYC: no, there is not a superhero for every job.

Ladybug and Chat Noir are exceptional superheroes, but Marinette and Adrien cannot open or walk through automatic doors, which is funny and kind of sad. Peoples, your saviors of Paris.

Sabrina has her own story peoples! She is given her own love interest from Astoria! I love them! And how he invited her to the rooftop party.

Alya, do you really have to tease her and Marinette at once. "Maybe you will make a "friend""

Aeon, I agree: Marinette and Adrien are made for each other. But you sound like Master Fu in Stoneheart. Are you secretly Master Fu???

The feeling is mutual Chloé. Marinette and Alya do not want to be your roommate as much as you don't want them to be yours. And I know you do not want to be there in the first place (my city is beautiful btw).But I am happy you did not rat them out for going to the rooftop party.

When they hid from Mrs. Mendeleive, Marinette and Adrien ended up in Jess(Sparrow) and Aeon(Uncanny Valley)'s room.

Magic hotdogs!

Remember the Hotdog Scene I posted over a week ago? That really was Adrienette and it was better than before, with them floating up and dancing to the song from Despair Bear! Yes! Best scene so far!

Doorman! I want him to be my college professor!

Okay, I know I am desperate to see Marinette and Adrien get together, but really Alya, Nino, Jess, and Aeon? Put them in DANGER?!?!? I cannot.

So Marinette and Adrien are put in danger and actual danger. Danger: Jess and Aeon simulating a dangerous situation. Actual Danger: Hawkmoth in New York having akumatized TechnoPirate and make him break into the museum to get the Eagle Talon. Oof.

Then where my Ladynoir heart wears off: Ladybug and Chat Noir seeing each other in NYC to save their civilian selves. They have seen Paris being destroyed by a sentimonster, with Chat supposed to be there and call Ladybug.

Uncanny Valley and Sparrow see Ladybug and Chat Noir in action and decide to be like them because they do not have that same freedom. Look, I feel them, but I still think they should have called for the United Heroez. Plus, cool transformations!

Remember the whole thing about "autonomous, trust formed by their bond, and super-efficiency"? Yeah, that was Sparrow saying that. But Ladybug and Chat Noir are now currently lacking the last two because of the whole "Chat you are supposed to be in Paris" ordeal. Well, you are generally right Sparrow, but now they have their own issues.

Of course, the new lack of trust (and Ladybug making her anger verbal) has affected their ability to fight TechnoPirate inefficient. So much Chat cannot defend himself and while trying to free himself...

HE CATACLYSMED UNCANNY VALLEY!!! This took a dark turn as this is the first time he cataclysmed a "person" (though she is an android, but still a person by standards. I mean Majestia was understandably very upset and I get it).

Majestia punching TechnoPirate into multiple NY buildings: woah.

Ladybug manages to fix everything, but two problems arise:

1. Knightowl wanted to take away their Miraculous and reveal their secret identities. They are now somewhat fugitives in their eyes for almost killing Uncanny Valley.

2. We see the limitations of Miraculous Ladybug. While Ladybug repaired NY, she was unable to repair Paris and the damage caused by the Robostus sentimonster. Which not only indicates that the Miraculous Ladybug cure only repairs the damage created by a specific villan, but that they have to be present. Here, there were too late.

Here is where my Ladynoir heart shatters: 1. Marinette sobs over how she was unable to repair Paris and felt horrible about how she failed them, and 2. Adrien renounced Plagg because of what happened to Uncanny Valley AND for disappointing Ladybug. Then, he runs off and Marinette sobs over losing Chat Noir. It was very sad that I wanted to cry.

I know this part is still very sad, but can I say that Tikki and Plagg are cute together in Marinette's purse? Poor timing? Moving on.

Aeon and Jess are disciplined by Majestia and Knightowl for disobeying their orders and for straying from their mission: protect the French class.

Are Majestia and Knightowl together in their civilian life? And Aeon and Jess are sisters?!?! I stan.

Here's the thing: I like how the special stayed true to this part of the Miraculous Comics. There, we find that Knightowl is a woman (which you can find out from this scene or at the end). And i just stan her relationship with Majestia.

Also, how dare the writers forget the Miraculous Comics! Sure, they might be different entities, but still: how dare they let the United Heroez forget about the power of the Miraculous Cure! I know that Chat Noir should be more careful about his cataclysm and Majestia has a right to be upset, but still: they had a deadly plan set in the comics to defeat a villan and called on Ladybug to cure the millions of dollars in damage. But hey, to each their own.

Also, somewhat unrelated, but Julerose appeared in the beginning and I am here for it!

Gabriel kidnapped TechnoPirate and akumatized him again while giving him the Eagle claw jewel to liberate people from their fears or other factors. Oof.

The kwami for the Eagle Miraculous is relatable. We would all wish we had our previous owner and fear about our power going into evil hands, right?

Now back to Adrien and Marinette, my heart breaks to see Adrien having to go back to Paris because Gabriel delcares NY as "too dangerous". YOU ARE THE FREAKING DANGER THOUGH! YOU MADE TECHNOPIRATE DANGEROUS AND RELEASED HIM FROM DANGER!

Marinette decides to go after him, but falls over from the bike she borrowed due to the rainwater as she begs him to stay.

And peoples, the moment we waited for three seasons (sorta): Marinette finally utters the words "I love you" when referring to Adrien. Too bad he got too far for him to hear her.

Also, who was going to get her off the road when she broke down? Is that her form of closure?

The United Heroez are now under the Liberty Eagle Miraculous' influence, which made them go haywire. Huh. So Jess and Aeon now have to save them with the help of the French Superheroes!

So Aeon was able to uncover that TechnoPirate is akumatized and using a Miraculous through her scanners. I stan her!

Also, she was able to recognize Marinette is Ladybug and Adrien is Chat Noir. And we have a reason to explain why everyone is blind: there is a quantum mechanism in the suits that makes them unrecognizable when compared to their civilian form in the eyes of humans. She can only figure out their identities since she is an AI android. So our theory about everyone having a reason to be blind is correct AND we can cut everyone else some slack. Please.

Marinette confessed that she needs Chat Noir. This was what we wanted to hear after all that has happened: what she said in the beginning, but now in the most genuine form. I have no words other than that this is heartwarming and heartbreaking.

Adrien was worried over Ladybug's disappointment, but Uncanny Valley is amazing in the sense that she recorded Marinette's genuine words, which inspired him to come back.

Plagg, you literally make light of everything. He literally made faces in front of Uncanny Valley because she can't see him. I can't.

Ladybug and Chat Noir's reunion healed and broke me. It was so emotional as Ladybug expresses how worried she was and how she missed him and Chat explaining while admitting his mistakes.

Time to take down TechnoPirate while using Doorman's powers to take the Eagle Talon and freeing everyone. The fight scenes are epic per usual, this one especially.

TechnoPirate counting down the time was alarming, but also funny as he makes light of it.

Hawkmoth, you would have been to blame for the World War III because of your ultimatum, not Ladybug and Chat Noir.

They missed the countdown, but Majestia stops the rocket and sends it to the sun. What the hell?! What if the sun exploded?!?!?!?! (I dunno? It was an atomic bomb for starters?)

So TechnoPirate is defeated and the United Heroez apologize for misjudging our Parisian superheroes and decide to no longer treat their children like kids.

So Paris for the first time in forever needs to undergo actual reconstruction, but Nadja is somewhat forgiving as she mentions that they needed to help the United Heroez and save NYC, where Hawkmoth also was. Hope there are no hard feelings?

Marinette had the idea of having the banner saying hello to Adrien, which he watched on the plane. So nice of Marinette the class to do such a nice thing for him.

Chloé, we might have somewhat forgotten that whole Miracle Queen stunt, but I am glad to see you enjoyed NY even if you will not admit it.

There are more Miraculous around the world. At the end, we need to fear Hawkmoth. Also, there are more Miraculous guardians and I am glad to see Jess convince one of the Guardians to create a new team of next generation superheroes

Overall, the New York special did not disappoint. We got Adrienette and Ladynoir (even if we know that Lukanette and Adrigami are also a potential reality, though good news for the shippers). We also saw the New York superheroes. Though there are some points that really surprised me (ie. The Ladynoir trust fight and Uncanny Valley dying temporarily and Paris being destroyed), I enjoyed watching the special.

I am worried about the Love Square, especially with Marinette though, but that is for another post. To sum up, we know what happens in NY stays in NY, but since the season 4 synopsis mentions Marinette struggling to find time to tell Adrien her feelings, I think that the Love Square is not 100% dead, but I am not too sure. Oh well, let's leave that for tomorrow.

I stayed up for another hour or so, so I will sign off. In the meantime, go ahead and watch it on an Instagram Page or on Disney Channel or wherever you can watch the special because I will tell you this: you will not regret it! (I watched it twice and will watch it again tomorrow!)

I swear Victor Feng must have a thing for my sims cause this is the second time he’s found a way to insert himself into my gameplay 🙄. So the thing with them... I’ll put it under the cut in case it gets long.

So I’m not exactly sure what put all this into motion but the two mods I suspect are Slice of Life and Personality Please (which I LOVE btw --  I have all 6 modules in case you’re wondering). So she met Victor once, like in passing at a bar or something. Nothing significant happened with their convo and he was married so I didn’t think about him anymore although I did notice that she found him extremely attractive (WW Attractiveness -- I always check whenever she meets someone new, lol).  So randomly, like right before she left for her first trip to Selvadorada, he called and was like, “I like you and want to make this something more. I was wondering if you felt the same way.” I sat there for a good minute thinking about it then decided to just go for it. I chose yes and they instantly gained a romance bar. Not a whole lot, maybe 20%, but I was SHOCKED. Long story short, he asked her out on an actual date when she got back from her trip, she got a whim to have sex with him, they had their first kiss then immediately after, idk which one of them did it cause I wasn’t looking, somebody autonomously asked somebody to be their boyfriend/girlfriend and the other accepted like without any input from me at all! So yeah, they’re together. Oh and when they went to act on that whim of hers, I got an MCCC pop up saying that Victor and Lily are having problems 😂

Annika was so happy the next day that she made herself pancakes for the first time. She practiced piano again and isn’t quite done with the one finger playing lol, but she is progressing well through the skill.

Don surprised her and came over! Annika is so affectionate with him. She was on a sentiment overload: she felt deeply connected, smitten, adoring, and closer from happy memories. Because she was feeling like that, she asked Don about his personal goals since she really wants to see where their relationship goes.

Causing overall embarrassment for the three of us, Don admitted that he doesn’t really like the idea of marriage. Annika did not take it well and that statement hurt both of them. She legit walked away from him to do something else.

Look at that sad face! It just really seems like Don is trying to fight his nature and his past so that he can keep Annika. He stood there sad for a sec and then called Annika back in the kitchen. He reassured her that she makes him reconsider his beliefs. He autonomously kissed her to show her that he was serious.

*She is in her swimsuit, not her freakum outfit lol. For some reason, Don’s kiss did not register as their first kiss. I think I’m going to use their first kiss to show if they are finally, truly on the same page. Don really did bring that up organically btw, it was interesting to watch play out lol.

The Grunt household... I know Buzz is supposed to be a bad father, but I can’t stand to do that so I try to make him more... incompetent. He’s trying now. He’s learning how to cook :)

I only managed to get TWO. WHOLE PHOTOS while I was playing because this round was pretty hectic for me. Taking care of everyone’s needs and aspirations while also trying not to impose on their personalities too much was rough. I failed in keeping Ripp as more of a sloppy, uncaring teen as he now cleans up his own dishes and even rolled a want to do his homework.

The first day, especially before I remodeled their house, was pretty bad. I intended on keeping Ripp in his teen career, but frankly even just having Tank in one was bad enough. Tank at least fucking LOVES to skill body points.

I should say this now before I get too deep into the post: Tank comes off kind of eggy to me (IT’S THE FACEPAINT) and I plan on playing her as a trans woman. She’s still going to go into the military and be kind of terrible lol, but I’m having her gradually transition through college. I’m worried about actually going in and  editing things in SimPE while she’s a YA for some reason so it’ll likely be a round or two before she comes out to her dad and everything, but that’s sort of the experience huh? Anyway I wanted to point it out so no one was confused on the pronoun usage.

Tank became an overachiever and received the scholarships for, I believe grades, the one for reaching the top of a teen career, and the one for having a high body skill. She cleaned the house a lot, wrote in her diary, and was going completely nuts on that punching bag upstairs. She got beat up by Johnny Smith the first day I played which was sort of the inciting incident for the building body  skill!

Ripp nearly went into aspiration failure since he’s a romance sim and the only people he knows are Ophelia and Johnny. He would onyl roll wants to either go to college, buy a cellphone (no, but I did buy him a game console), or go on dates. Even if I wanted Ophelia to cheat, Ripp was woefully unattracted to her. Johnny wasn’t an option for similar reasons, although I’m keeping Ripp as straight so I never checked for their chemistry. He talked to every townie teen girl I ran across until he met one walkby who managed to like him somehow. He asked her on a date (they stayed at his house) and it went okay, I ended it early and in the middle fo the night she dropped off some fast food condiments which was nice of her. He invited her over again the next day and they became best friends and kissed etc etc. Now Ripp isn’t in danger of aspiration failure before he gets to college, I hope. While this whole thing was going on Tank had a friend over, some random townie teen who had been generated recently judging by his non-base game hair. I think they’re friends now but I honestly couldn’t bother to make sure -  I was too busy juggling the date and everyone’s needs.

Buck spent most of his time painting and being away from other people. He socialized with both of his brothers and somewhat with his father but he just kept rolling wants to earn creativity points so he was in platnium the entire time. He even grew up and I didn’t realise until the camera moved over to him. Here’s how he grew up!

I completely adored this dumb surf outfit for him (even though he apparently has a serious personality...) so I kept it, only changing his hair and adding some shades (which I totally didn’t get a pic of)

His dice roll went to a couple different aspirations but I made an executive decision that he should be a family sim. He seems the type, and I sort of have a characterization for him (sort of!) from an apocalypse challenge I read years ago on the exchange. I still re-read it to this day, it was one of the lucky ones to get archived.

This was a cute autonomous action he and Tank did btw! I wanted to add it in since it’s the ONLY other photo I took.

This was right before school, and Ripp and his father were having a pleasant conversation just a few feet away. It was a nice morning :)

Buzz generally didn’t have problems with his aspiration level but I  found it hard to get him anywhere past low green since he doesn’t have any acquaintances. The only people he knows outside of his family are his enemies! He did start rolling wants to be friends with Johnny but I ignored these since I thought it was too OOC (for several reasons) and kind of weird! This was what made me close the game and go install a community lot, haha. He ended up having  two bolt chemistry for Bella Goth which I thought could be a really interesting sort of story, but they get on like a house drenched in water. He didn’t have any luck with the next woman he talked to  either, but the one after that was a nice townie lady named Marion wearing the world’s brightest pink sweatsuit. I considered having  them date but they have negative chemistry and I don’t want to force romance unless I have good reason! They’re best friends but it took a few days due to work. Buzz also made another friend, a man he brought home from work. I try to finish building the relationship with the sims brought home since they start off with around 20 or 30 points in daily relationship. It worked out well this time and they had very nice, long chats, quickly becoming friends. So now thank god, General Buzz has some friends.

One other thing happened before the end of this round: they got fucking robbed. I had bought the family a big pickup truck (no military vehicles available in vanilla unfortunately) and a pottery wheel, completely forgetting to buy burglar and car alarms. The burglar stole both of the above objects, but I did get insurance to cover it since she went back outside and around the back to grab things, and the phone was really close to Buzz’s bed! I never have emergency phone calls work out!

The insurance money still wasn’t enough to completely cover the cost of a new car, though, so they’re using the smoogo minima. This is my most used car in the game by far. They’ll have enough to replace it soon, but that’ll be next round :)

Right before this one ended, I had to very quickly send Tank off to college. I’m still thinking about how I want to fit in new households and colleges into the rotation, but I do have the 48hr faster college mod so it should be both more challenging and a bit less of a drudge for me now!
