Obsessed with the idea that people forget you have Captain Levi’s heart until they see him do little things for you. Like at breakfast, before his morning meeting with Erwin, he’ll pass by your table and casually hand you a loaded plate. “They didn’t have those croissants you usually like but I found those weird ass pastries you can’t stop talking about.” And then he’ll just walk away without saying anything else. Or like, while you’re all suiting up for a mission, he’ll randomly walk up to you and adjust the thigh straps of your odm gear to make sure they’re properly secured and you’re just like “!!!” inside. Or like for every group meeting he arrives early and saves you the seat next to him and when you arrive, he’ll pull out your chair, waiting till you sit so he can briefly place his hand on your thigh as a greeting 🥰🥰🥰🥰

You guys know something else that drives me crazy 👀 when they’re a couple but also not a couple….

Like get this you cuddle then you kiss them, maybe u guys get it one few times 👀 but neither one ever talks about it afterwards cause they don’t want to be the one to cement it or!!! Or! One of them wants it to happen but doesn’t know how the other feels so they choose to stay silent instead. Ugh and don’t get me started on practically living with each other but one of them still has their separate place they paying for even though they don’t even live there half the month🙄.

I KNOW THOUGH todoroki fully believes y’all are soon to be married like- imagine y’all never explicitly say you two are a thing- you are NO cheater but is not cheating when your not together-even if you wouldn’t mind being with Shouto-Like it even! BUT He’s a busy guy. Sure he buys you all sorts of expensive goodies but he’s rich? Isn’t that what people with money do? So why should you think you’re special. Sure you guys have gone and hidden from a few crowds just to get a quickie in after a mission but you know…adrenaline and shit! You’ve probs seen denki and minoru sneak off with a few girls after missions too so what’s the difference??? Imagine- you show up at one of your fancy hang outs at one of the newest restaurants (cause once again-he’s rich, all rich people just causally choose candle lit dinners as hang outs right?) sporting some fresh bruises on your neck from an imprompt make out session (cause who doesn’t want you) and why would you hide them? There’s no secrets between besties-Shouto looks absolutely floored, dumbfounded. Please this man is head empty, not processing what he’s seeing. And just abruptly stands up. Your like ??? Bro we just got here what happened? But damn he’s starting to look less confused and more pissed off and now you’re like 🙂…🙃…☹️? Until both of you are quite a bit away from the restaurant and prying eyes does he finally turn to you and Fuck he looks angry. ☹️☹️☹️. “ you cheated on me” ….what? Please, I feel so bad for everyone in this situation. You’re confused and hurt and upset cause wtf you had no idea Shouto even thought of you as anything other then a close friend and Shouto is obviously going through a breakdown and you just barely got him home before he started naming off every single instance he’s ever done something romantic with you-and yeah… okay now that he is making a list it’s pretty obvious-but look you genuinely didn’t know and even though his hurt is very real he can also tell you are being very much honest. It’s definitely going to take a while before you two are back to norm- oh no wait he’s at you’re apartment door the next day, those gourmet chocolates you live so much along with flowers and he’s definitely going to make sure you know this is him coming to you as more then a friend.

Bakugou- ohhhh bakugou. He’s definitely the childhood friends to lovers. Why? Cause I said so. You guys definitely had a little “she’s my girlfriend-no one can touch her” moment in elementary. Him picking you up little dandelions but only the poofy ones so you could pretend to make little explosions with him 🥺. You definitely didn’t go to the same middle school. Only cause he was a little shot and you for sure would have called him out on his behavior-nah, you guys would meet up after at parks and shit where he wound being you sodas and snacks and definitely still little dandelions. You guys get separated during his UA years, each of you go off to do your own thing and grow as your own person. Meet again at some point-a little before he’s super well known as a pro hero, maybe it’s all cute and shit at some park just after catching some low level villain. He sees you in the middle of some trees and wildflowers and he’s like damn they are familiar then he realizes the only flower u got out of the whole bunch is just a bunch of fluffy dandelion heads and he’s like !!!!!. Maybe at some point after y’all have reconnected and shit (and obvi you guys are close! You’ve known each other since you were kids!) it’s not weird for you guys to be comfortable with each other, hugging and cooking together(him cooking mostly💀), maybe the occasion kiss on the forehead or cheek-your apartment is part of a collapse after a villain attack and you’re all worried about having to find a new place-he’s like? “Are you fucking with me? Just move in already” (Aw how sweet! You’re friend let you move in with him while you search!💐) obviously this only brings you guys closer together and bakugou has the train of thought that-yeah, you guys are going steady. Right? Who cares if he’s the main one initiating the cheek, hand, forehead kisses-you’re just shy right? Everything is going great. At least he thought until “I found a new place!” “A new place for what?” Confused as fuck “ a new apartment!” You’re all giddy and he’s like huh? Did you not like his home or something? Is it the decor? But you practically run that department in the house? He’s basically let you run the WHOLE house? So what’s the issue, maybe you just want a bigger home? But if that’s the case? Why an apartment that’s a downgrade from the fucking 5 star house he’s got right here? “Why would we get a new apartment?” “Not we-just me?” Now you’re confused, why would he think that? While Bakugou is now currently rethinking every interaction he’s had with you in the past week-did he say something? Did he do something? Overstep? He doesn’t think so-he’s been respectful, patient, he’s HELD BACK doing certain things just to let you give him the go ahead even if you make uf difficult-especially with the way you’ve taken to wearing his shirts and boxers straight out of a shower- so what’s the issue? Eventually he just bites “what did I do?” And he’s so 🥺 cause he’s been trying. And you’re like “🙂????”

Izuku is def the one where he probs overheard about your commitment issues so his brillliant plan is to just never bring up the relationship even though both of you are clearly dating. He will gladly do all the pinning-pleaseeee ugh. Him coming over to your apartment almost everyday (gotta bring takeout with him too-less of a chance of being told to go home💀) and eventually you just expect him to be there and when he’s not you’ll text him like ‘ when you coming home’ and he melts cause you’re telling him to come home☹️🫶🏽 little sappy bitch. The first time you guys fall asleep in the same bed and waking up tangled together and him apologizing over and over cause shoot did he overstep??? But your like “ I love cuddles 🙄 chill dumbass” and that’s basically his green light to just become a teddy bear every time he stays over( which is a lot) -maybe one day y’all are out together shopping for groceries (Jesus just move in together guys🙄) and some of his friends show up and are like omg I didn’t know you had a girlfriend!!! And he’s sees you just stiffen and even though he doesn’t want to deny it he’ll gladly say “actually, we’re just friends!” Just to give you peace of mind but even after he can tell your uncomfortable with the whole encounter. Maybe you stay up late watching a movie, he offers to keep you company and you shoo him off “you got work tomorrow, you’re going to be tired” so he leaves for bed, tries to stay awake but even after he hears the movie end you don’t come. He wakes up and your side is still empty, you slept on the couch. He can’t shake the feeling it was on purpose. A week goes by and you guys finally got back to you’re regularly scheduled denial and pinning. Izuku had and interview with some fancy blog and he obviously invited you along and everything is peaches an cream and then the relationship question is asked and he can’t help but glance in your direction and your white as a ghost as the people there suddenly become aware of your presence-though you’ve been there the whole time. And he panics because it’s clear everyone here has come to the same conclusion on who you are. “it’s compli- no! I’m not in a relationship” but it doesn’t matter what he says cause you’re already out of that set. He has to wait another 3 hours before he’s allowed to go chase you down, cause the whole thing is live. And when he does he’s like “oh?” Cause your just outside the building waiting for him but you’re clearly not okay. So he’s all worried and trying to explain he didn’t think they were going to get all personal with him cause he really didn’t want a repeat of last time and you’re just like “are we not dating” (how the tables have flipped) just genuinely curious. And he’s like the 🙂? Cause if he could have said y’all were dating from the start? he would-shit, he would yell it from the roof top baby girl😤 he’s version of keeping it on the down low was basically living with you-get ready for an overbearing bf.

hello fellow runners five/runner fives/idk, some of you seemed amused by my m36 post and i’m having fun and your :)s and shit are making me nervous so i thought i’d post some predictions/thoughts about the rest of s2 ranging from totally serious to not serious at all. i’m just gonna jot them down as they come to me and post this before i play m37. pls don’t say if they’re right or not tho

-8′s “dog bite” is actually a zombie bite and van ark gave her some experimental long term treatment for it. this one’s pretty serious but it’d also balance nicely with paula if she’s on his side purely because she believes in his cause so idk.

-alternately she volunteered for one of his experiments and her version turned out to be more stable and van arc’s and paula’s

-i think she might die? whether van ark lets her turn, she’s killed by the prisoners, 5 or another runner kill her in a fight, or something else, idk. i just kinda Have A Feeling. i hope not though, i am mad but i also think she’ll be a fun antagonist so i want her to hang around for a while.

-i don’t think anything’s gonna happen with paula anytime soon, but i’m starting to lose faith in her. i mean, she didn’t have to go through with the sabotage, even if she wanted to rescue 5. she also could’ve escaped with them, if 5 had time to get away so did she. van ark wouldn’t have found out she didn’t do it until they were both long gone.

-whatever was on that ship 8 was on comes back to bite abel and new canton in the ass. i’ve been Anticipating this since that mission but idk. it looks like the prison is gonna be the whole final arc of the season so unless it’s near the ocean i’m not sure how it would. then again “a disaster happens at abel while you’re gone and can’t get back” seems very in line for this game. anyway, i’ll be surprised if nothing ever comes of that

-the informant is someone from that ship. i still don’t know what happened to them and this is another thing i’d be surprised if nothing ever came of. maybe the captain, he seemed extra shady.

-8 kills the informant to keep them quiet and pins it on 5. i’m almost sure she’s gonna kill them, i mean, why wouldn’t she? she has everything to gain and nothing to lose. i’m sure most of abel (except maybe sam) will believe her over 5, she’s been there longer so i’m sure they trust her more. and she’s the major’s favorite 🙄

-i don’t really trust the major either but i don’t have much to say about that i just don’t like powerful people who hide things and are willing to sacrifice kids

-8 tries to kill 5? whether directly or just abandoning them in the prison, again, why wouldn’t she? 5′s the only one who knows for sure she’s the traitor. it does seem like van ark wants 5 alive though but like, i could be wrong or she might do it anyway, she seems to be building up to loose cannon territory.

-i don’t think abel will fall two seasons in a row but i wasn’t expecting the first one either sooooo... i dunno, 7 comes back, loses control of his plane/gets shot out of the sky, and crashes into the township ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

-i do think 7 might come back at some point, but probably not this season

-“new canton gets rocket launchered by zombies” is too repetitive to happen but again, wasn’t expecting it the first time (i mean, i was expecting the rocket launchers to come back, but it was one of those super fun slow horrific realizations as it was happening). i wouldn’t be super surprised if it fell at some point though. it’d be pretty disastrous, there’s no way abel can take in every new canton resident.

-most likely though, i think 5 will end season 2 trapped in the prison or in van ark’s custody, with no way to contact abel. so no way to know if something happens to either town.

-also not a lot to say about this but i’m very excited to see what’s up with zombie len. obviously something’s different about him and i can’t wait to find out what it is

I HATE that people accuse Zuko of being “extremely racist” to Aang in the finale. Are you kidding me? Excuse me, but just because something (in this case pacifism) is a religious belief, it doesn’t make it immune to criticism. Especially when the belief in question doesn’t just effect your life but the fate of the entire world. He had every right to be upset and push back if he thought Aang wouldn’t be able to defeat Ozai because of this belief.

I actually saw someone say “Sokka and Suki shouldn’t have giggled because they should realize Zuko would have extremely racist views of their cultures too”. Again, are you kidding me?? Good job at erasing all context. If you think that’s bad, the world is on the brink of a second mass genocide and here we have a kid spitting nonsense about usung glue to win the war. Of course Zuko would be pissed. He did not say anything against Aang’s culture or religion until it was going to potentially impact other people’s lives. That does not count as being extremely racist. In that case Katara was “extremely racist” to the NWT for calling their culture stupid because they oppress women.

What about the prolife movement Tumblr loves to trash? It’s all based on deeply held religious belief. Are all the people fighting against it extremely racist/disrespectful? No. Because the movement is trying to get laws passed that’ll effect everyone’s lives. That’s why everyone has a right to fight back, be pissed at them, and tell them they have no right and are being ridiculous.

You guys realize you can sympathize with Aang’s position without demonizng every other character, who dares challenge him, and pretending like you’re incapable of seeing their point of view as well.

Now, there's something very interesting about that particular take on Zuko being racist towards Air Nomad culture in The Phoenix King because he isn't criticizing or even addressing Air Nomads and their customs as a nation or religious dogma, he is addressing Aang's personal beliefs that all life is sacred and therefore should be untouched, even when they had less than 72 hours to stop some lunatic from burning an entire country to ashes!

Zuko knows Aang is a pacifist and he knows it comes from Aang's interpretations of Air Nomad culture, but he isn't referring to the culture, he is referring to Aang's very own, original idea to use "glue-bending" (is that even a thing?) to avoid a genocide. And as viable of an idea as that one is, they don't have time for him to learn glue-bending on top of the other 4 elements 🙄

Like, that's literally the only thing Zuko criticizes. Aang might be hesitant to take action because he believes his religion forbids him from it, but he's not giving very realistic alternative solutions either! His suggestion of glue-bending was prompted when Zuko out loud demanded him to provide another option to deal with Ozai that didn't involve killing him. And we all know that up until the ancient species of Lion Turtle was rediscovered, there wasn't one, said by the past Avatars — including an Air Nomad Avatar — themselves.

And let's say Zuko did disagree with Air Nomad beliefs. I hate to break it to some people, but that doesn't make him racist. Interreligious friendships are in conflict all the time! Does people think I like when my Evangelical friends call Catholics like me the "ignorant religion"? Or when they say all saints, apostles, and the very Virgin Mary are irrelevant? No, that's why we avoid the topic as much as we can, but it doesn't mean we hate each other. But if any of our beliefs impeded just one life to be saved, we would have a talk about it and it wouldn't be pretty.

People disagrees with others beliefs when they affect something they have faith in or that they care about and — I hate to break it again (not really) — Zuko cares about the world and its people and he feels directly responsible for the two of them to be endangered due to his lack of action... and now it is Aang the one that's refusing to take action.

And Zuko doesn't even remain angry at him, he tells Katara to let Aang be so he can reconcile his religious beliefs with his duty.

Seriously, I get that lockdown is boring, but this performative activism thing has officially made people lose contact with their surroundings!

Fuck it, let’s talk about it.

3 years aftermath after leaving my 8 year relationship. Not about me wanting sympathy, I’ve done well for myself and don’t need that… but more to speak my truth. Might be interesting to someone who may take the time to read.

1st, in the beginning I was glad to be away. I was having the best time doing things like hanging out at bars, going on hikes, meeting new friends ect. The problems didn’t really start until I moved into my own place. Yes 🙄 I had the stereotypical bad dreams and fears, but it was my complete disability to pick something to watch on TV that got me. I would scroll through Netflix all night in tears until I finally fell asleep on the couch without actually watching anything. That shit repeated for like a week and a half 🤦🏾‍♂️ I realized that I had watched Marvel movies, family guy, and American dad every night for years so I didn’t even know what I liked to watch anymore. Eventually I decided on documentaries about space and the universe so that was unexpected but I got really into that shit and moved on to other things

2nd I would check my phone constantly, CONSTANTLY when I was out with friends expecting to get a whole slew of texts telling me to come home and that didn’t click until a good friend of mine pointed it out. I am literally states away with anxiety about doing things without him and that would eventually stop.

3rd the first time I brought a guy home for a hook up was a disaster 😮‍💨😂 not only was I still limited on furniture for my new apt, but I woke up after a dream that my apartment door had opened and I freaked out in front of him. Needless to say that was the very last time I saw him.

4th I became REALLY defensive towards everyone. It’s like my brain understood the assignment and fucking pushed the gas petal to the floor. Even though I was still in survival mode, I changed. I wasn’t this submissive emotional person I used to be, I didn’t (and still don’t) take shit from anyone. I became really masculine, even now when I look back… it’s like I don’t even know that person I used to be anymore. I decided I was gonna do everything I had missed out on for almost all of my 20s! I partied a lot, hooked up a bit, I worked out constantly, started writing tons of new songs ect. Forever grateful to be doing these things

5th my dating life was a hot mess when I decided I was ready. I would swerve on other guys for just about any minor inconvenience. Eventually you pick up on manipulative shit and set boundaries. One guy I dated for a couple weeks tried to make me feel bad about giving me a ride to work, like bro 🤨 you offered! I originally ghosted him for the way he talked to the lady at the Wendy’s drive thru… listen, it was rude and judgmental and he probably didn’t even realize it 🚩. I actually stopped dating again, just trying to enjoy life until the right one comes along.

A lot of joy, a lot of tears, new friends and experiences, breaking bad habits, and I really wouldn’t change it for the world. The amount of empathy I have for others is through the roof. I spent almost a third of my life walking on eggshells and even though I still go through a lot of shit, I’m still out here killing it. If you’re going through this, forgive yourself. It’s a big ass world out here, don’t miss out 😌
