Mer!Jet is visually, some cross between a moray eel and a pelican eel, being long, slender and flexible. His mandible connects much like a snake’s, which allows him to gap in the same way pelican eels can, though he’s more likely to flush water out of his gills quicker, as he doesn’t like the feeling of being puffed up.

Despite being a deep sea fish, Jet is most often found in shallow artic waters, as he isn’t a very good swimmer and tends to use what is left of his species’ lungs to simply bob about as the water wills. He’s also afraid of the large undersea rivers that are far more common in deep water.

Jet finds boats a curious thing, and is known by frequent cold-water travelers for his habit of gently bumping the keel of any boat he happens to see, though efforts to study him have proved difficult despite his apparent curiosity.

Every now and then, however, Jet has been known to find capsized boats and collect whatever humans he can along his tail (or in rarer cases, when the water is cold, in his mouth), and deliver them to whatever spot of land meets his arbitrary requirements. 

As a threat display, Jet will flash the blue markings across his frills and tail in specific patterns.

His digestive system and digestive system-adjacent takes up almost 2/3rds the length of his body, and as he has a multi-chambered storage organ centered near the humanoid torso, he has been known to hoard things that interest him with little problems. 

Among the things that have been found just one chamber of the storage organ (courtesy of a now-inactive camera) are, in no particular order: A sheathed dive-knife, a sea-urchin shell, a piece of a large chandelier, car keys, and a laminated (and seemingly waterproof) photo album.

Some random sad John things I've made in the past two years and never posted here.

I am again having feelings about Not Me and White specifically.

This man left his life behind for his twin who he hadn't seen in over ten years. He got involved in a gang doing criminal activism. He was really bad at pretending to be this brother he didn't even know anymore. But he did all that, and he didn't expect anything in return.

He knew the moment Black was awake he would lose it all, and would have to find life for himself, a place he belonged to, because he would not go back to his life the way it was after everything he went through.

But even then!!! Slowly, while still pretending to be Black, he slowly let the others meet White without even knowing or noticing it. All the times he did or said something Black would never do or say, even if in the beginning he backtracked and tried to spin it in a way semi-believable.

And slowly he barely did that anymore. Specially around Sean, or maybe just because their relationship even at the start was so different from Black and Sean's relationship. But White thought over the consequences and how to make things really stick.

He cared about all the gang, and the gang came to care about him too, even if they didn't even know they were doing that.

White was able to carve a place for himself with all those guys who don't trust easily.

The scenes when he's celebrating with them, or he's arguing with them. He's not afraid anymore to be found out, he belonged there just as much as Black did, he still doesnt come clean to them, but in a way, they are truly seeing the real White.

The one White himself is getting to kkow, and accept and like so much more than the one he was before.

I really do think a lot about how either Rodrigue or Felix carried the last letter Glenn sent home with them throughout the war in Three Hopes. Meaning, at least to me, there's probably a strong argument to be made that Felix held onto it more than anyone else like he did with Glenn's spurs (for Ingrid) and that he probably had it tucked away in his room even during his time in Garreg Mach. Reasons why I think it was Felix and not Rodrigue? Felix lives his life by honoring people he cares about by living his life to get stronger so he can continue on with it. Rodrigue is a monument to the past, and as rock solid as he is in his beliefs, given how he doesn't ridicule Felix over his starkly different views

I think that's his silent way of saying that he can at least sympathize with it. I also think that he knows holding onto chivalry is how he's able to continue living when most people he cared for and loves are dead or going to be consumed in one way or another by the very same country he himself would die for. Felix holds onto the present and future more than the past despite his grudges, and Glenn's death was, from what I can gather, the first big crack in his differing ideas.

Glenn was apparently very similar in mannerisms to Felix too, meaning he was probably curt, blunt, and had a no-nonsense attitude contenting with a fierce loyalty. However, that letter home was very fond, whether that be because of age, if he toned things back because he knew his parents would read it, or (my headcanon) he softened up around people he loved.

Not a lot, but probably in a manner similar to Felix's A supports with the Fearghus Four.

I really really think Felix would carry that letter of his with him as a reminder to himself that he has to carry on and live because how he lives his life will undoubtedly impact those around him like he knows Glenn's death did for everyone in his.

There's a funny sense that he doesn't look forward to death but he knows most of his friends chase it haphazardly, so if he can get stronger and show through his actions that he wants everyone to live that maybe those childhood promises or dreams will stay the same.

I don't know, this has been a long rant but really and truly it's one of my favorite pieces of lore from Three Hopes and I'm not sure how many people noticed that letter.
