I feel like ppl don’t give Lucien nearly enough grace or the space to be anything but perfect and he’s just expected to be this super sweet, understanding and calm person all the time and that’s just not really fair or who he really is?? Lucien being a good person ≠ being perfect. Idk why he’s characterized as this passive, people pleaser when he’s been shown time and time again to be someone who’s very forthcoming with his opinions and feelings. If he doesn’t like something you WILL know. If he’s frustrated or angry he WONT stay quiet. He’s a gentleman with great manners and is very understanding sure but he’s not a doormat?? Being super understanding and accommodating to other people’s needs/feelings all the time is exhausting and can feel frustrating when no one seems to reciprocate the sentiment. And from what we’ve seen, no one reciprocates Lucien’s goodness back to him and he’s allowed to be bitter about that, doesn’t mean he’s a bad person!!

He’s allowed to be frustrated/bitter about his situation with Elain and still understand she needs space. He’s allowed to be angry at Feyre whilst acknowledging how he failed her. He’s allowed to be angry at Tamlin for all the shit he did to him and still hate himself for leaving him. He can be a good, understanding person whilst rightfully being angry. His life fucking sucks let him be angry 😭!!

i love that you're keeping what gaz is in fog vague. i love horror/scifi/fantasy romances that aren't about known or specific monsters/beings. maybe at the most a combination of many monsters, but what the love interest or monster is *isn't* the focus. it's their vibes and how they terrorize :)

Yes I completely agree!!!! Unfortunately when the monster is shown or described in a book/show/movie, it often just ends up looking goofy. OR it’s unrealistic like how did the protagonists figure out so fast what the creature is versus just experiencing it? And that’s kind of what’s happening in this fic - you know Gaz is some kind of alien creature, but what exactly he is won’t be explicitly stated because the crew is actively experiencing him for the first time and also Gaz isn’t gonna just tell them.

aziraphale remembers what crowley was like before he fell. he was so happy, so excited, so amazed by the beautiful universe he started and helped create. his current crowley is so much more cynical now, so often negative about things, so jaded. and sure, aziraphale’s angel shines through just as often. saving kids, saving his books, helping a poor young girl. wouldn’t it be great if that crowley was back? if the baggage of being a demon were gone? if he could do as much good as he pleases, by aziraphale’s side, on the right side? crowley would be far happier, surely. surely.

Hey does anyone still think about the thematic differences between Supernatural and the Wayward Sisters and how self-isolating male hunters are compared to community-building female hunters and how this was shown from the Harvelles to even arguably Missouri Mosely and even Samuel Campbell who is his daughter's father almost more than a man himself (especially in Season 6) is not immune to this?

And how the Wayward Sisters could have been built not on sacrificing yourself to this singular all-consuming relationship with your brother and sacrificing yourself for the world second or in name only, but instead on what it takes to cut yourself into useful and digestible pieces for the sake of keeping your place in that community because you're almost certain that it's This Community or Solitude Forever (Alex you can never escape the life no matter how much you don't want it you've gotta pitch in do you want your family to die on this hunt Claire you know you'll never find anyone to love you unless you make yourself softer and then are they really loving you are you even worthy of love anymore Jody your husband and son would still be alive if you listened and learned you can't lose another child in every sense you can't quite let your children be defenseless children either and you know so well how sick this fear makes you and how you're dealing with it the wrong way your son got to be a child but your daughters can't be that vulnerable Even Donna you have Your Role to play here you're not good enough as a hunter but you're funny and happy and you don't take up that much space so that's exactly how much space you're given to exist in).

making erasers??? that’s so……. i didn’t even know that was a hobby people could do but why does it fit him so well LOL. in general, yuuta seems like he does a lot of tactical hobbies? like making stuff/using his hands, very crafty… there’s this girl on tiktok with a mini kiln and she makes the cutest tiny clay charms, that seems like something he would do, and give them out to his friends :(( maybe painting? or even knitting, he seems like he has calming hobbies something to tame his anxiety 😭😭 he also seems like he can build things really well, he’s very detail orientated—not just furniture, but computers, keyboards, fixing game consoles he is so the person with a 3DS checking in on tomodachi life curled up in a blanket on his couch

The thing about Crowley is that he already tried fighting* the system and the end result was his fellow rebels making a new system suspiciously similar to the old system with torture pits and demotivational posters in place of the aggressive hypocrisy and kardashiancore interior decorating. And then after that he decided to fight the apocalypse and the apocalypse thwarted itself with minimal involvement required from him. His biggest contribution was fucking up a simple handoff completely accidentally. His apparent belief that it'll all sort itself out without him or it won't and either way his involvement will be largely irrelevant to everyone but himself is pretty well founded. I'm sure by the end of season three he'll have learned a valuable lesson about how admitting that you want to make positive contributions to the world is something you can do on your own terms and not simply an exercise in opening yourself up to god's preordained judgement and hell's torture pits and but he's old and tired and has probably never been kissed let him have a very specific vision for his retirement.
