Gratitude for this adventure. This healing journey. Recently I did a short cleanse that led me to rediscover my passion for creating in my kitchen. I thought that part of me had died a long time ago with the onset of my chronic illness, and for awhile it really had. But it woke up last week as I finished that cleanse, and I am once again finding my kitchen a source of inspiration and creativity. 🌱 The photos are my latest delicious healing obsession...can it nori. I eat salad almost every day for lunch, and I wanted to switch it up a bit but still make sure I was getting those healing foods in. I stumbled upon something wonderful inspired by my friend @butterflyeffectweightloss - nori. I rolled up my salad into 4 nori wraps and it made it suddenly delicious, interesting and new again. The next day I had the brilliant idea to add a slice of cooked sweet potato. Oh my gosh, I am in love! It's so crazy good, I cannot even tell you. 🌱 This particular salad had a delicious ginger lime dressing, but I've since tried it with others and they all work. Plus I get to eat it like a burrito!
