Surely Soviet communism wasn't a perfect system but if they did one thing right was urbanism. Block of flats with garden area, sitting spaces and parks for the children after block of flats with garden area, sitting spaces and parks for the children. All of it full of trees and plants and gardening space, and all of it within walking distance of buses, trams or trolleybuses. The upkeep could be better, but I take an old flat in an area like this way before an individual house in the suburbs with no shared community areas and no shadow anytime.

HELLO im sorry that i havent posted in like three weeks, i just havent felt like it lmao. the combination of not getting any notes on my posts + the fact ive been on simblr since 2019 and i have no friends in the community does NOT help with my motivation.

whenever i open my game i either close it three minutes later or i do take screenshots but end up deleting them because i dont think any one will care about what i have to post.

real life has been kicking my ass too, i got told i had an ovarian cyst in december so i had to go get some ultrasounds done recently to make sure it's not getting worse. im also going back to college in may after not being in any type of schooling since i graduated university in 2022 and that makes me so nervous that i feel like throwing up 24/7. my birthday is also in two days and im ALWAYS in a bad mood around my birthday.

i'll try to post soon but no promises lol.

Repotted this snake plant of mine. It has been trying to climb out of its pot for ages. So it was time!

The plant is taller than my window, and took up a huge portion of my window sill.

In its new pot, there are now way it will fit on the window sill at all hehe

but! I hope it will flourish even MORE in its new pot!

beautiful little a. vulgare from my florida pods culture, sadly infected with rickettsiella. they’ve apparently been slow cooking the infection for over a year and a half and it’s taken until now for them to start showing noticeable symptoms (thanks again @crevicedwelling for the help in diagnosing it!!). not surprising considering these guys were scooped out of a backyard in sarasota and lived on a diet of soil and leaves indiscriminately dug up from the front of the lab building they originally lived in, but still a bummer as they’re my fav culture :(

i have salvaged quite a few (currently) healthy individuals, hopefully the new subculture will do well and i can eventually eliminate it over subsequent generations!
