I read this book back in december when I requested it on Netgalley and was accepted. I loved it, perhaps love isn't a proper word for a book like this one for there is so much horror and pain in it. But it is a necessary book, an important book, a book that everyone should read. . "This book is heartbreaking, hard, difficult, sad… but what amazes me is the hope, it is hopeful. Lale, Gita and many other people went to hell, and spent there three years of their lives, three years stolen from them, and they never lost hope. And they loved, and they were loved. Es un libro que me impactó y me encantó tanto como te puede encantar un libro tan duro como este que cuenta los horrores a los que fueron sometidos los judíos y otras razas en Auschwitz-Bikernau.
