The world is mere reflection what you think and visualise. - Prince Raj . . BOOK:- The Tattooist of Auschwitz AUTHOR:- Heather Morris GENRE:- Historical fiction RATING:- 5 Stars . . Review
It’s a page turner book and as the story grows it’s become very engrossing and can make you hooked into the story till you finish it as it did to me and the story is based on real events.
This book has the story of two survivor who met in concentration camp of auschwitz and from the day one they had to fight to survive and do what they are said to do as they were being bitten if they would not follow the order which has been directed to them.
The book shows the era of hitler where people was being forced to work and had not any freedom to live freely and sended at concentration camp to work and die, the cruelty which was happening that time is shown in this book which can moisture your eyes.
Glimpse in a blink
Lale had to leave his house for the sake of his family and he ended up in the concentration camp of Aushweitz where he was tattoed by a number on his wrist and threw him to work like labour and didn’t gave healthy food just a soup with a potato, soon he lost hope to live and his body degraded and one day he fell like corpse but he was alive and was saved by a unknown and later he came in contact with a tatooier who make him his assistant and worked with him and become the tatooier of Aushweitz.
When he saw her first time he had to cut her wrist to mark the number as it was his job that he hated to do but he had no choice and from that day he would search her everywhere and with the help of a SS he found her and then they exchange message through the letter by the help of SS whom lale trust.
Gita is from Slovakia and She has been in Auschwitz longer than Lale and when lale sended her message she wrote back that She will be in the compound on Sunday and will look for him, there love increases day by day and also the danger of getting killed and thrashed. … Read this book with @moodandbook @elatedstories @bookbosomed0205 @__random_beautiful_things … and they are still reading 🤪 Happy reading guys and I am sorry. … #thetattoistofauschwitz #heathermorris (at India) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQQEetLLFGZ/?utm_medium=tumblr

I read this book back in december when I requested it on Netgalley and was accepted. I loved it, perhaps love isn't a proper word for a book like this one for there is so much horror and pain in it. But it is a necessary book, an important book, a book that everyone should read. . "This book is heartbreaking, hard, difficult, sad… but what amazes me is the hope, it is hopeful. Lale, Gita and many other people went to hell, and spent there three years of their lives, three years stolen from them, and they never lost hope. And they loved, and they were loved. It was love and hope combined what saved them. In Lale’s words, there must be a future for us, and you’ll see it. And now you can learn this story, read this book, and be a better person to others." (excerpt from my review on GR) . .
