What have I been up to you ask? I've been casting little prehistoric metal guys in bits of dead cuttlefish.

I've recently discovered this technique and am obsessed. Basically dried cuttlefish bodies can resist heat really well once. so you can carve designs into them and then pour molten metal into them! Lol. The cool thing is that the texture of the cuttlefish flesh (the cuttleflesh if you will) remains on the pieces and gives them a really cool, organic look imo. So that's my new fave weird non-vegan jewellery technique

Ok so let me make a long ranting point.

You do see that gold button thing, don't you? That thing on a red ribbon?

Now do you remember where you first saw it?

That's right, in his original 'going out' clothes that he first appear in back when he was an Aibo student.

Now, I find this very intriguing. Not just in this little stand, but also in the triple D official summer card art that was released, he was wearing that gold button around his neck.

Why would you put it on in the first place, considering you used it as a bolo tie on your swanky suit? Shouldn't it just be a normal accessory?

But no, nothing is normal with Disaster accessories.

Elf Kabala tells us that Terumi can see perfectly fine, and her glasses are there to make her look Meeker and hide her ruthlessness, cruelty, true feelings etc. Cetera. When she takes them off, she's in her very desperate and very needy mode, not afraid to show how much Buddyfight means to her as someone who is nothing outside of it.

Kyoya, obviously, has his cross. And a messiah complex. Need I say more?

Elf Kabala's rose has thorns on it. It's not dethorned, even though it is beautiful. He is canonically shown to have extreme speed, being able to disappear under Zanya's nose and Gao's despite the two of them being trained in kendo and martial arts respectively.

Davide has his collar. His impact is him crushing an orb. He tried to crush Kiri. His entire personality is him trying to remove positivity from other people, just like a collar cutting off oxygen.

Tasuku and his armour brings back the whole Kyoya theme. Kyoya wears a cross? Tasuku is his misguided Crusader, doing bad things in the name of justice, fighting a ‘Holy War’.

I could make a whole entire post out of Tasuku and Elf Kabala, but back to the point.

I headcanon that the gold thing on the ribbon is a locket. It’s something Rouga only wears when he seems to be feeling at ease and comfortable- never when he’s using disaster force, and only when he’s on good terms with Kyoya. Thus, I feel that it’s probably a sentimental item to the two of them, and contains some kind of memory attached to it, which only makes sense if it’s a locket and not some miscellaneous button.

And it’s not a SUPER big deal or anything, but the fact that both ‘brothers’ are wearing neck jewellery? Even at the pool? 

Either both can’t swim, or maybe - 

Just maybe Kyoya’s own cross has the same kind of emotion attached to it.

Every time I see companies selling """punk""" jewellery or clothing I become apoplectic with rage. Just saw a £65 padlock necklace advertised to me bitch Fuck you go to your nearest weird little shop that sells everything in the world including fake Rolexes and bongs the size of a toddler. Buy a thing of chain and a padlock. Borrow some bolt cutters someone you know will probably own some and if not get some cheap ones or borrow from a local tool library. Slap em together. Maximum cost £30 and that's MAXIMUM that's assuming you bought over a metre of expensive heavy chain AND bought the bolt cutters. You can do it for under a fiver with a wallet chain and pliers. I still wear a necklace I made when I was 15 out of a wallet chain and pliers and a padlock I got in a set of 3 from poundland. If the issue is dexterity or otherwise disability related then find a friend and swap a favour with them it'll still be cheaper than these scamming poser companies and will help you build community and share resources. Something which is actually punk. Fuckin. Capitalist posers
