Her awakening had been slow. Having MOSTLY slept for many thousands of years, not worshipped to by any of the Magick users anymore, but they still drew on her power still. Or they used her GIFTS to them and drew power from ANOTHER.  Like the child that would be KING, Lucifer.. The rebellious son. Though, the goddess had heard his argument, and had.. agreed with him, for the most part. That was not her business, until Magick was involved.

Then The Garden, a primitive Boys Club, that the rest of the world was not allowed in to, was shut down. She’d laughed. It’d been so EASY. Out into the world the young God’s creations were sent. It was like what modern day people would have called a Brand competition. Tide versus Gain, Pepsi versus Coke.

“If it isn’t the Queen of Demons.” Hecate’s hair was short in her complete form, all the wisdom and youth and intelligence of the Maiden, Mother and Crone in one. The halls of Hell had changed since she’d last been here, but the goddess still stood out from the Victorian attired lords of Hell.
