once upon a time you remember when haechan was just the class clown with a good group of friends

they were a great group of friends full of the brightest people

haechan was a good guy, sometimes he needed to keep his mouth shut, but he never did anything bad

you were his chemistry tutor, because if there was anything he was bad at, it was science

haechan had a strong hatred for science

before you were his chemistry tutor, you were his biology tutor

so you think you know each other pretty well

after seeing each other every wednesday after school for all the tutoring sessions, you had gotten pretty close

you had inside jokes and bonded over some similarities you had

you’d be lying if you didn’t like him a little

okay maybe a lot

but one day he stopped showing up to the tutoring sessions without any kind of notice

and at first you thought “oh maybe he just forgot to tell me he couldn’t come”

but then he missed all of the other sessions with you

and you were just lost because you didn’t know why he suddenly stopped coming to your sessions

deciding you’ve had enough, you confront him at school

“why haven’t you been coming to our sessions?” you’d ask

and he would just ignore you as if you weren’t there or as if he hadn’t heard anything

but you were not going to take this!! you followed him around, bothering him until you got an answer out of him

the someone steps in, one of the “bad boys” in the school

“who is this person? are they bothering you?”

and this kid has the nerve

“it’s just some tutor and it’s nothing important”

though you know you’re just some tutor, you really thought haechan would consider you as one of his friends

but you guess, not

and now you know he doesn’t feel the same way as you do the next day at lunch, you notice haechan is missing from his group of friends

his group of friends of course consists of mark, renjun, jeno, jaemin, chenle, and jisung

and just looking at their lunch table, it seems empty? it didn’t seem like donghyuck was just missing, it was like he no longer belonged there

all of the boys’ facial expressions just looked down

it was so strange seeing them look so unhappy when they usually act so cheerful 

then you look a few tables over and notice he’s sitting with a new group of people

and those people? they were the “bad boys” of the school, they skipped class, got into fights, shoplifted, did D R U G S

don’t do drugs kids!!!!!!!!

seriously. don’t

and now you were worried because haechan wasn’t with his usual group of friends and was now suddenly hanging out with people who were nothing like him

it didn’t make sense

after that day, donghyuck started showing up to school less and less

soon enough, you never saw him at all

you tried to text him but you were always left on read™

you tried talking to his friends (aka the dreamies) and they were bummed out he was acting this way too

they were constantly ignored by donghyuck and it hurt pretty bad

the truth was that they got into fight and he went to that group of people because he felt “more appreciated”

which wasn’t true, he just said it because he was mad

but now he was stuck with these people who aren’t the best influences and he’s stubborn so he won’t come back

what you didn’t understand was why he wouldn’t talk to you

maybe now he thought he was a “bad boy” and was too cool to be associated with you

but,,, you had a plan to get him back

as weird and invasive it was, you were going to find him and follow him around until you got him to talk to you

you were worried about him, he was around these people he shouldn’t be around, doing things he shouldn’t

he was the boy you liked, but most importantly, your friend

you wanted to do everything in your power to help him

on a day you saw him walking home, you called out for him and to your luck, he ignored you

but you weren’t going to stop there

you tried to catch up to him and call out his name again

annoyed, donghyuck says, “what do you want?”

to your defense, you say, “i just want to help you”

“why do you care so much?” he mutters as you two start nearing his house.

“because im your friend” you shout

“just mind your own business” he says just as he gets to the front of his house

the next day you come back, and when he sees you, he tries to run back into his house

you’re no track superstar but you run too and grab him by the wrist like those cheesy kdramas

and he stops and turns to look at you 

“this isn’t you,” you say to him

next thing you know, boi is crying

“i know” he says

he fesses up, telling you how guilty he feels for putting himself in a bad situation an abandoning his friends and how he just ignored you because the boys told him to because he was intimidated by them

the bad boys or whatever tried to pressure him into doing stuff and of course he didn’t do it, but they didn’t appreciate him at all and practically treated him like dirt (uHm sm entertainment???)

and the boy is crying his eyes out and you’re not one for comforting people when they cry

but you hug him and tell him everything will be alright

he apologizes over and over, while holding you close

and you are relieved that all of this is finally over and you don’t have to worry about him anymore but your heart was leaping with joy bc DONGHYUCK WAS HUGGING YOU

so the next day, everything is all good again

you went and gave him moral support while he talked to the dreamies

and they all apologized to each other and became emotional and it was all happy times from there

later donghyuck goes “i owe it all to you for fixing everything between me and my friends”

you tell him it was only because you cared about him 

he proceeds to tell you “you’re not just some tutor, y/n. you’re my friend.” 

you smile at him because you remember how much it hurt when he said you were just some tutor, not even a friend

“and maybe more than a friend” he says

you’re just like,,,,,wdym

AND THEN HE FREAKING LEANS IN AND KISSES YOU

his lips are soft and it makes your heart melt

he pulls away and you’re looking at him like :O

and he’s like “see you wednesday after school!!!” 

everything was normal again, he was back with his friends, you had your tutoring sessions every wednesday after school

the only exception was that you were more than friends and date night was every friday :)

Not even a minute passes before you are woken up again. This time, by a loud clack against your window. You ignore the noise and fall asleep again. But the clacks got louder and louder and harder to ignore. Soon enough, your phone started to go off, text messages popping up, all from your boyfriend, Chenle.

“Look out your window,” the text said.

Annoyed as you were. you look out the window. You were surprised to see Chenle standing there with a bouquet of flowers, but your heart fluttered at the sight of him.

“What are you doing?” You shout. 

Chenle begins to scream at the top of his lungs.

A/N: this took a million years, I’m so sorry! i am also very sorry that this sucked 

so you and jaehyun have been long term childhood friends

your moms were very close friends so you guys grew up with each other

growing up, you kind of had a small crush on jaehyun

you weren’t totally sure of your feelings

he was always on your mind, but you always thought the idea of liking him was weird

so you always tried to ignore your feelings until one day you couldn’t ignore it anymore

through your high school years, you watched him go through his exes and you just had one thought in your mind, which was “it’s not going to last”

though you never thought of confessing or admitting your feelings, you didn’t picture the two of you together

you just liked him and that was it

the thought of you two as a couple was still offsetting for you

but now you were in your 20′s and still as in love with him

and the ignoring your feelings worked until now

because now, he’s meeting new people, telling you that they could be the one

now that you’re older, “the one” could actually mean “the one”

most of the time when jaehyun said that, it didn’t last long 

but this time, you really think he meant it

this time, there was no holding back your feelings

you couldn’t ignore it anymore, there was no denying that you were madly in love with jaehyun

being upset with your feelings, you went out and drank

probably not the best way to deal with your feelings, but you were hurt and didn’t know what to do

you went to a bar got drunk, talking your feelings out to strangers who didn’t care

you just felt lonely and sad

a few hours in, you get the sudden urge to call jaehyun

and since you were alone, there was no one there to stop you from calling him

so you called him, drunk and all, slurring your words through the phone, saying random things like “i feel lonely because of youuuuu”

being the good friend that jaehyun is, he asks where you are so he can come and get you

jaehyun sighs in relief that you are alright when he sees you at the bar

but still, you are drunk and upset

when you see jaehyun, you’re like “jaehyunnieee why do you have to play games with my heart”

and as oblivious as he is, he has no idea what you mean

“you make me feel lonely” you say

he tries to tell you he’s there for you so you’re not lonely and tries to comfort you but all you want to do is push him away

because with him here with you, comforting you so you don’t feel lonely, it made you feel more lonely

it was knowing you’ll never be with him

you take his hand off of your arm and tell him to drive you home

as he drives you home, you don’t say a word

and you don’t say a word when you get out of the car

jaehyun thought it was weird that you didn’t even say goodbye

the next day he brought you some soup for your possible hangover

but to his surprise, you just slammed the door in his face when you saw him at the door

jaehyun didn’t know what he did to make you like this but he wanted to make it up to you 

he bought all your favorite foods and brought your favorite movie

and he showed up at your door again, hoping you would just let him make it up to you

when you saw him, you just wanted to slam the door on him again

but before you can, he stops the door with his foot

“i don’t know what i did, but i’m sorry” he says

“it’s not anything you did.” you tell him

“then what is it?” jaehyun asks

and you don’t want to say it because you’re embarrassed and you don’t want to ruin his new relationship

but when he looks at you like that, desperate for answers, you couldn’t lie to him

“i’m in love with you. and being around you makes me feel lonely and i hate it. i hate that you found someone who you call the one. i hate that it’s not me.” you blurt

your statement takes jaehyun by surprise

A/N: yes, hello im sorry i took so long to write this but ive been so busy, please forgive me!! and special thanks to @geminiwjh for helping me come up with an idea for this!!! follow her, her writing is beautiful and absolutely amazing.

so you were kinda intimidating to a lot of people in your grade

you didn’t take shit from anybody and made it known

but that was only if someone messed with you

but there weren’t a lot of times where ppl were nice to you either

so yeah, you kinda were a savage

despite your attitude, you never got thrown into detention

until one day some guy in the halls was talking shit

im sorry for all the swearing guys

this guy was talking about let’s say your little sister

and they weren’t so great things

you couldn’t just swallow your pride and let him get away with talking about your sister like that

this lead to you punching him in the face

it was such a hard punch, it just knocked him over onto the ground

when the guy looked up and saw that it was you, he trembled in fear

there was no way in hell that this guy was going to try to hit you back because well, it was you

one of the most intimidating people in your grade

so when the staff find out, they surprisingly did not suspend you

they instead gave you detention for two months

which you would have preferred a suspension 

but too bad for you because you got a detention

so when you walk into detention for the first time, you notice there’s only one other person, and his name is yuta

who you personally didn’t like

why? because people were always saying you were like another version of him

and if there’s one thing you didnt like it was when people compared you to another person

also you just thought of him as another fuckboy

he flirted with everyone, regardless of gender

it was annoying

you choose to sit as far away from his as possible

yuta takes notice of this and comes over to bug you

“hey y/n why don’t you sit next to me”

“because you’re annoying” you respond

yuta put his hand over his heart and said ouch

you rolled your eyes at him and told him to go away

and he was really about to argue with you

then the teacher in charge tells you two to be quiet

because if you’re in detention then you must suffer

so you both sit in silence, waiting to get out of this hellhole

you kinda just stare into space, you didnt even realize when the teacher left

yuta gets your attention and tries to get you to leave with him

which you agree to because well, you wanna get out of here

so you two go to a mcdonalds close by and just hang

you learn maybe yuta isnt that bad

sure, he may be annoying, but it’s the good kind of annoying

after all, you’re going to be seeing a lot of each other from now on

going back to school, another detention was added on for the both of you

but you didn’t care

you and yuta kept leaving detention after the teacher left the room

causing more detentions

you’d really think the teacher would learn their lesson

so the two months of detention ended up being more than two months

and for the sake of it, you two decide to stay in detention for once so you wont have to keep coming back

within the past few weeks, you started to develop a small crush on yuta

and maybe it’s not as small as you think

whenever you two left detention, you went to eat at some restaurant because you’re hungry and love food

and each time, it got you thinking about what it might be like to be on a real date with him

like having a romantic candlelit dinner

with him in a suit, him looking handsome and all

you just couldn’t get him out of your head

you wish you could know if he liked you because well he flirts with everyone

everyone except for you

you thought he just thinks of you as a friend

so now it’s the last day of detention for the two of you

and even though your friends now, you’re just thinking to yourself how much you’re gonna miss being in detention with him

mark is a very busy guy, but he always tries to make time for you

ok so in this au, your soulmate’s first words to you are tattooed on you

like everyone else, you had your tattoo on your wrist

it said, “you need help getting that?”

and your whole life, you tried to figure out what it exactly meant

your friends told you that it’s probably your soulmate asking you if you needed help getting something that you can’t reach

and to be honest, you were on the shorter side, not super short but yeah, sometimes you can’t reach stuff

SORRY IF YOU’RE NOT SHORT

and when your friends said that you didn’t know whether or not to be offended

because like who wants to get teased for their height

anyways you’ve been waiting a long time to meet your soulmate

everyone you knew has already met their soulmate and you feel like you are growing impatient

i mean who wouldn’t when all you see and hear about people falling in love with their soulmates and meeting them

and you just wanted to know what it was like

so one day, you go the library to check out a book you need for one of your classes

after spending like half an hour walking around the library trying to find the book, you realized it was on the very top shelf

and it was like impossible to reach

you tried looking for a stool, but it was nowhere to be found, just your luck

so a thought came to you

jump until you can finally get it

and you knew it wasn’t gonna work, but you had to at least make an effort

and so you’ve been jumping for quite some time, not caring who was watching

because there was in fact someone watching

it was a very tall guy

and he just watches you struggle because he thinks it’s funny and cute

and as soon as you hear that, you immediately turn around

because those are THE EXACT WORDS ON YOUR WRIST!!

so you’re obviously thinking that this must be your soulmate

and this is the exact scenario of how your friends said you’d meet your soulmate 

so you’re just like “are you kidding me” because your friends were right

and johnny is like “oh my god are you my soulmate”

and then for a short moment you two are like omg i just met my soulmate

so you’re like “my names y/n”

and of course he introduces himself as well, as johnny

and so you two are both really happy and excited to have met each other and give the most awkward hug

but despite how weird and awkward to be hugging someone you just met, it felt right

you felt like you’re really gonna get used to being in his arms

but after that, he tries getting the book for you

and johnny is all confident that he can get it because he’s tall and has long arms, you know?

but remember the shelf is actually really high

so yeah, despite johnny’s height

HE CAN’T REACH IT EITHER so johnny is all embarrassed and you’re just laughing at him

ok but since he can’t reach it either, you two try to figure out a strategy to getting the book

first he tried to piggyback you, but that doesn’t really work out

and then you try to sit on his shoulders, which is the best method, except you both keep losing your balance

but eventually you get it

and your first meeting with your soulmate was a bit strange, but it was fun and you wouldn’t have it any other way

so after that, you exchange numbers and get to know each other

getting to know each other, you realize how perfect you are for each other, like you really are soulmates

you can easily talk to him about anything

he’s a great listener and easily cheers you up when you’re feeling down

and not just any guy, IT WAS A GOOD LOOKING ONE

and so when you come to sit in the seat next to him, he just greets you with a friendly smile

and his smile is actually so adorable and he has an eye smile and you’re just amazed at how beautiful this man is

anyways let’s skip to a few weeks later where your cousin forces you to come to one of the basketball games

and you’re just sitting there, not understanding the game at all

you kinda just go “whooo” when everyone else is cheering

when you’re about to fall asleep, you’re suddenly jolted awake when you feel something hit you on the head

you look down to see that it’s a basketball

“isn’t that the guy you sat next to?” your cousin says

so at this point, you two like each other and it’s pretty obvious to everyone

the plan was mischievous

and you tell him you need flowers for your cousin who just bought a new house

so he gives you an arrangement of daffodils which mean new beginnings

like how your cousin is having a new beginning in a new home

as you leave he smiles at you and tells you to have a good day like any other normal worker would

Taeyong: “That’s so cheesy.”

“Honey, I’m home!” Your boyfriend yells playfully as he slams the door behind him. 

“Cool!” You yell back, unenthusiastically, too immersed in your TV binge to get up to greet him. 

“I have a present for you,” Taeyong says, immediately capturing your attention. You walk over to him and see him holding a shopping bag. He hands it over for you to see. You open the bag to see two identical sweaters. 

“I got us matching sweaters.” Taeyong says with a grin on his face. 

“That’s so cheesy,” you scoff. You hated the idea of couples with matching sweaters, bragging about how cute they were. But to match with Taeyong...you found it kinda cute. 

“You don’t like it?” Taeyong pouts. 

“It’s just...cheesy,” you say. “But I think I like it.” With this, Taeyong’s bright grin returns to his face as he pecks you on the cheek.
