In a previous post, I mentioned that the book Dracula is not a work of fiction in the Hellsing universe. This has some rather interesting and utterly horrifying implications mostly having to do with Alucard and how he spent five hundred years of his life, as well as questions about what the fuck happened to everything.

First off, the more obvious stuff such as Alucard canonically having eaten babies and threw a goddamn woman to literal wolves while his poor fucking solicitor watches on. To be fair, I don't think Dracula meant for Jonathan to see that but my point still stands, Alucard mentally tortured his solicitor for a few months, and also nearly got him eaten by his roommates who were possibly more than that. I am not entirely sure what the dynamics of the brides and Dracula is aside from dialouge suggesting that they're not on terribly good terms.

That or the brides were being bratty. Most likely bratty. They seemed happy enough to be fed a toddler though.

Onto potentially less disturbing aspects of Alucard's character, he would be very much into reading. Potentially to the point that I imagine that Integra has most definitely found him reading the most strangest of things such as the labels on a can of soup.

If we talk about the whole Demeter ship thing, this is also something found in the Dracula fandom, but it is still highly amusing to think Alucard had started off with transforming into a wolf when he first set foot in England, only to be quickly faced with the fact that everyone just saw him as some scraggly mutt that needed to be protected in classic yorkshire fashion due to wolves being very extinct. Must have been a bit ego damaging when he figured that out after potentially running away from dog catchers.

I imagine he just took on the form of Baskerville out of sheer spite at that point.

I do deeply question what the fuck happened to Alucard's assets upon his death. Perhaps it was the wealth that he had accrued over his lifetime that was used to start the Hellsing Organization and said wealth is still used in some capacity to fund it.

What do you think would happen if Alucard and his soon-to-be s/o went on an undercover mission as a married couple at a couple's counseling retreat in Hawaii?

Personally? I think he’s be pretty smug about it. His crush and himself alone on a couples retreat? Even if it’s just an excuse for him to finish the mission, he’s soak it in as much as possible. You wouldn’t be left alone for more than a few mere minutes, he’d be in your bubble every chance he gets. All followed by him saying, “Don’t you want my mission to be successful? We NEED to look like a loving couple after all, my dear.” Let’s just hope you two aren’t asked to kiss in front of others or else you’ll be hearing him chuckle his signature chuckle as he leans down, looking you in the eyes, and just teases the living hell out of you. “Come now, my dear. Don’t you want to put on a show for them?”

That’s all I got for now, I’ll probably touch up on this later but I’m not sure tbh lol

Amulya’s relationship with Integra

TW: mentions of suicide, questionable dynamics, mental illness, average Hellsing lore

Amulya was extremely happy to become pregnant with Integra. She first became pregnant with Integra almost 2 years. As I said before, her pregnancy was relatively normal. Her mental state has never been the best but it was at least manageable. 

However, when the full scope of what the organization was revealed to her and Arthur mentioned Integra being designated as the eventual heir, Amulya was very much against it. She was dealing with a ton of emotions and hormones so finding out near the end of her term. For Arthur to lie about her and give her such big news felt like a huge betrayal. She didn’t want Integra to be involved with an organization that dealt with such heinous creatures. Even if it was for the good, she wanted Integra to be normal and grow up to be whatever she wanted. It felt too soon to expect their daughter in a leadership role. As worried as she was, she tried to understand Arthur’s views on the matter and suppress her own opinions. 

Integra was born on October 27th, 1977, at 7:43 in the morning. Fortunately, she was a very healthy baby. Both Amulya and Arthur were ecstatic about Integra coming into the world. It was surreal for her to hold and get to know someone who had been growing inside her for nine months. Even as happy as she was, Amulya developed post-partum depression. She couldn’t say why she felt as sad and guilty as she did but it was an overwhelming amount. She would often cry about how she felt horrible for bringing such a pure human being into the terrible world. She wanted to leave that terrible world and would feel even worse. She was scared of holding Integra herself. Amulya couldn’t bare the thought of somehow hurting Integra. Amulya was also terrified of being alone with her. For months, she relied on nannies, maids, or Walter for helping with Integra. She had a routine of having them hold Integra while she sits next to them. If she ever hold Integra, it was for short amounts of time. 

Amulya felt like an inadequate wife and mother. She had difficulty sleeping. Integra would wake up at odd times at night which didn’t help. She was scared of Integra possibly dying in her sleep. While she trusted everyone to look after her and had more help than she could’ve asked for, there was still always the feeling something could happen. The worst times for her were when she would walk to Integra’s room at night sleep deprived and just look at her. Nothing in particular would happen but she would be thinking about taking Integra and leaving, strangling Integra so she wouldn’t have to live in such a world, or taking her own life. She never acted on hurting Integra but those thoughts were the ones that made her too scared to hold her. 

Arthur was supportive and tried to ease Amulya’s mental state as much as he could. One of the steps he took to help was using one of the organization's psychologists to help Amulya process the information on the organization much better. This was an older woman who had kids herself and was plenty experienced with helping victims with trauma regarding the supernatural. This woman played a massive part in Amulya becoming more comfortable with the organization and keeping her spirits up. 

Arthur was always a very busy man. He always loved Integra since she was born. There were just not a ton of opportunities for him to take time off.

After almost a year, Amulya was able to hold Integra on her own. She even had Integra sleep in the bed with her. Due to her less-than-stellar start to motherhood, she tried her best to make up for it by spending as much time as possible with her daughter. She designated time for herself and for her hobbies but spent the majority of her time raising and doting on her. Amulya wanted to be there for every milestone. Not that Arthur would ever want to break her heart, but Integra’s first word was said around him. Amulya and Arthur were both present when Integra took her first steps. Amulya felt more and more whole seeing Integra growing up. She even saw bits of her personality forming. Integra wasn’t too needy but when she was set on something, she would throw a bit of a fit. It didn’t help that Amulya would give in. These fits were mainly Amulya putting her down for more than a few minutes or not being able to give Integra to Arthur while he was working. This resulted in Amulya spending some days in the office with Arthur while holding Integra. She even had a couch put in his office so she would have somewhere comfortable to sit. 

Amulya adored how Integra looks. Her looking so much like Arthur was the best to her. Integra’s hair was blonde to her surprise. She doesn’t have a clear idea on how the genes were that strong but she wasn’t ever unhappy with it. She was excited to get Integra her first haircut but was destroyed at some of her beautiful hair being cut off. She styled Integra’s hair in bows and clips. She dressed her in fancy outfits and hats. The accessories would come off while Integra was playing but was sure to take pictures of her before they did. Amulya was very excited for the holidays so she could dress Integra up for parties. 

Amulya was picky choosey on who she allowed around Integra. She never had a good experience around Richard. He wasn’t allowed alone with Integra or even hold her. She was convinced that he always had a different motive than getting to know his niece. 

She was ore than happy to show off Integra to the members of the round table. If there as a meeting, there was a chance of Amulya popping in for a brief distraction to announce that Integra had woken up from a nap. 

While she was a very caring mother, she still dealt with depression and anxiety. This might be a little weird to say but just because she was very happy doesn’t mean she never had intrusive thoughts or episodes. The times that she was really bad were impulsive decisions. She never regretted Integra, she regretted being the one to be her mother. Ultimately, she felt like she was too weak and too much of a burden to the people around her.

How do pip and alucard (seperately ) deal with a reader who is oblivious to them liking her?fluff plz

Alucard

Alucard would just get tired of it, blankly staring at you and plainly asking you, “are you stupid or something?” 

“What?” You ask, taken aback by the rudeness.

“Are you stupid or something,” Alucard asks again in a serious tone that still has a sprinkle of annoyance mixed in since he had to repeat himself.

You shake your head, “no, I heard what you said. I’m just wondering what the actual fuck makes you think you can talk to me like that.”

“Well, clearly you are too dumb to realize I’ve made multiple advances in attempts to court you.” Alucard says plainly. This old geezer still thinks ‘courting’ is a thing.

“Did you offer the plumpest goat in the whole village to my father as well?” You ask sarcastically, “the Hell are you talking about ‘making advances’?”

“I have been doing like what they do in those movies-” Alucard has been watching cheesy rom coms in attempts to learn how to flirt, “-trying to woo you, but you just haven’t caught on.”

You couldn’t keep yourself from laughing, “that’s why you’ve been acting weird?!”

Alucard stays silent.

When you finally stop laughing and catch your breath you rhetorically ask, “Alucard, you do understand that life doesn’t work like that, right? All of those people are actors and the whole thing is scripted.”

Alucard grumbles, “Seras should’ve just let me give you the letter.”

“Letter?” Your curiosity immediately peaks, “you wrote me a letter?”

“Yes,” Alucard pulls the letter out from his jacket and hands it to you. Though he does not show it, he’s nervous as he watches you delicately unfold the paper and your eyes skin across it.

“Huh,” you keep your look unwavering as you look back up at him. Knowing that your unimpressed demeanor has him sweating bullets, then you fold up the paper and with a smirk say, “I could get used to these types of letters.”

“So that means you’ll let me court you?” Alucard asks.

You chuckle, “it’s called dating now, but yes, I’ll let you ‘court’ me.”

Alucard gets the biggest smile, “I told Seras the letter would work.”

“Yeah, you shouldn’t take dating advice from her anymore,” you laugh.

“Well I shouldn’t need to, now  that we’re together,” Alucard says happily.

You just roll your eyes and wave your hand to shoo him away, “alright, now go, I have to finish my work!”

“As you wish,” Alucard tips his head and leaves, now a very happy man to be courted with you.

Pip Bernadotte 

You and Pip are laughing and joking around like usual, but out of nowhere with absolutely no context he says “you make it very hard for me, you know?”

You and him tend to joke around, making lewd jokes, so you assume that’s what he’s doing now, “yes, I know. I wouldn’t be surprised if you had a picture of me you wank off to every night.”

Pip shakes his head, “no, not that way. Well, not all ze time, but zat’s not what I’m talkin’ about now.”

“What are you talking about then?” You ask Pip.

“Not to kiss you, I think about it all ze time,” Pip’s attitude is no longer playful. He constantly thinks about what it’d be like to hold you tight as he gives your soft lips tender kisses. You make him so happy and you’re all he thinks about. 

You go back to not taking him seriously and thinking this is a joke. So you decide to test him like you’ve done before and playfully say, “do it then.”

Pip is tired of all the joking, he leans in and kisses you so passionately, the world fades away. At this moment the rest of the world fades, it’s only you and him as it should be, always and forever.

When you two break apart, you're both breathing heavily, the kiss stole all the air out of both of your lungs and after a long pause Pip finally breaks the silence, “zat what I meant.”

You couldn’t help but chuckle, “I’ve already figured that out by now.” “Just makin’ sure-” Pip smiles, “-because it took you zis long.”

You roll your eyes and Pip steals another kiss, which he will be doing with every chance he gets from now on.

Aaaaaa! Crown I'm so sorry it took me so long to answer this 🥲. I super appreciate u asking this and I was meaning to for a long while. I love talking about my gal.

Amulya Facts

Amulya’s favorite dessert is opera cake

She is mainly a vegetarian due to religious and personal reasons. Though she does rarely eat fish. Amulya would be giving Arthur the side eye if he ever ordered anything with beef. Not that she’d force him to give up that or meat in general, but she does think it would be nice.

Amulya is a pretty good cook. Her first few months at the Hellsing estate felt very off as she wasn’t used to all of her meals being cooked by someone else. She often got home sick, so she took to the kitchen herself. She showed some of the recipes from where she’s from to the staff and even got taught some recipes herself.

Quite the unconventional fashionista. She dresses in patterned tights and bright coloured clothing. It was a way to know she just looked cute if anyone was staring at her. She never felt the need to dress older than she actually was.

Her and Arthur often correlated their outfits to each other. They are both eccentric dumbasses. So if he had certain colours in his attire, Amulya most likely has the same in hers.

She still wore saris for daily wear and especially when going out to parties.

Unlike Arthur, who drank quite a bit, she abstained from drinking alcohol.

Her favorite kind of tea is peppermint

She originally started her garden with herbs for cooking and to make various teas.

Her psychiatrist is a cannibal

She teases Arthur about his age. He often makes references to books, movies, and (radio)shows she’s never read, seen, or heard. She does her part in learning about his interests, such as reading books in the mystery genre.

Amulya gets along with most of the roundtable members even if she didn’t know what they exactly did for a while. Pennwood and Islands were the ones she knew the best. Pennwood was actually able to talk to her about topics she was interested in since he had a daughter around her age. Islands was a little harder to talk to. He is much more serious compared to Pennwood. Still polite, but he was just much more intimidating and difficult to make a joke around. He did make an effort to ask her about her culture.

Amulya cut her hair a few months after having Integra, so she was rocking some shoulder-length hair for a while.

She smokes from a hookah occasionally. Not at all when she was pregnant.

Amulya is wildly affectionate with those she cares about. Being physically affectionate isn’t looked at the best in her culture, but she found it's her love language. Her 2nd love language is buying gifts.

She loves Talking Heads (the band)

Amulya x Walter Junk💕

She barged into Walters office often so she’d have someone to talk to if the female employees weren’t free.

She has a very recognizable knock to him. He mentioned it to her once before, so she once tried to run in quickly to catch him off guard. This resulted in her hitting her side on the edge of a table near the door.

Integra coincidentally has the same knock as her. Sometimes, he is expecting to see Amulya come through the door even after she passed.

She would take naps in his office since he has a couch in there. (Yes, guys, i have a certain view of how I think Walters office would look)

Going on shopping trips with Walter was tricky. He’s a little conservative with his preferences. Her picking out a miniskirt would be a major conflict. He feels pressured to tell her she looks great in it. She does look great in it. But he also can’t be too forward with it.

Amulya would lean over Walter’s shoulder to get a closer view of what he’s exactly working on. Most paperwork had supernatural terms, but she assumed they were code words.

If Walter ever came to the garden with his suit on, she’d spray him with a hose and tell him to put on something he can get dirty in. He’d go back into the mansion soaked, salty, but smiling.

Amulya and Walter would sometimes get asked if they were a couple when he accompanied her in the city. Amulya responded for them both with a polite “no.”

Amulya once asked Walter why he isn’t married. This resulted in him explaining one long-term relationship he had with a German girl. It didn’t last due to her pulling away from him and even rejecting one of his proposals. Amulya, while eager to hear about Walter’s life, felt a slight stab of jealousy whenever he mentioned her.

Amulya, Walter, and babytegra would nap together. Amulya was able to reason with him that it's fine to take a break during his busy day. Amulya would also join in if she ever saw them already snoozing.

Whenever she would sit with Walter in the garden and fall asleep, she held his hand. He would be able to feel her grip loosen when she had eventually dozed off.
