absolutely awful, how i can't put on classical music playlists for working bc i'm going to get distracted and pissy when i don't like the recording used
#the oracle hath spoken#help my parents succeeded in indoctrinating me into their classical music pretentiousness#but i just can't listen to beethoven or brahms when the musicians aren't FEELING it#or when the pacing is wrong(tm)#or when the debussy or chopin sounds like you just fed a computer program the sheet music#all i want is the perfect playlist according to my personal tastes and requirements is that too much to ask#just give me three hours of music that should be playing over a manic research montage that's all i want#also just for the record until a few years ago my mother had never heard of beyonce#last time i was on a roadtrip with them my father eventually put on kraftwerk and i was this close to actually losing it#why do you have to put on a song that sounds like someone were trying out all the ringtones on an old phone when we can't even leave
