I don’t usually make posts like this and I’m not entirely sure how to but I just wanted to spread some awareness since I realized I have somewhat of an audience now?

There was a large fire in the Bronx, NYC just a few days ago which killed far too many people - including several children. All of these people were POC in a borough (section of NYC) that tends to struggle financially. As a Bronx native that lived in a building just like that one, it’s so saddening and heart-breaking.

So I just wanted to share some links to some relief funds for the victims and the families of the victims. No pressure of course but if anyone reading this has any pocket change to spare, it would go a long way. And if anyone knows of any more relevant posts/links or fundraisers, please reblog with it! I know I'd love to see Empire State Building, MoMA, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Central Park, 9/11 Memorial Museum, Guggenheim Museum, Brooklyn Bridge...
